Best of all, being high on the agreeable trait makes them much less likely to ask for a pay rise or complain when management increases the duties without reviewing the job description.

If women don't take off time to have a baby or raise their kids, they become the ideal worker. They are given to accepting emotional rewards.over financial remuneration and they play politics rather than chase higher wages.

It is a plan without drawbacks!

So did Peter and Christ ever meet? Remind me.

Unless Christ was a GamerGator with keys to our time machine.

Critical Race Theory, like all Critical Theories is from the Frankfort school.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Frankfurt-School

Critical Theory is an attempt to reimagine Marxism with a moral dimension. The moral dimension being (to simplify) "Why didn't the workers' revolution occur?"

Critical Race Theory starts with the axiom: "The purpose of western civilization is to advance the interests of the White Race at the expense of the Black Race."

From there CRT concludes that the institutions of western civilization must be undone so that racial justice might be achieved.

When laid out simply like this, it is easy to observe that CRT is both fundamentally mistaken (starting from a conclusion and working backwards) and downright evil, in that it would return the world to stateless barbarism in an effort to accomplish ideological ends.

When a friend showed this to be, I gave a susinct definition of critical race theory and why it was both wrong and evil.

It took me about six sentences. I then asked if she wanted to see a lecture series on it, because I had a YouTube playlist.

Marvel got off to a good start because they were a different production company.

All of the Phase One movies were green-lit and the projects were well underway.

Later Disney put their staff in to replace Marvel Studios staff as they finished projects.

We can see how that turned out.

The original was so popular that there was huge demand for a sequel.

Cervantes was taking his time and a fake got written, which sold quite well.

Eventually Cervantes finished his (genuine) sequel. In the book Quixote meeds his counterfeit and deals with him. It is pretty funny if you know the context.

Smurfette was literally constructed. She is an artificial Smurf built to order.

The fact that Smurfs seem to be asexual and Baby Smurf never ages are both arguments that they are an engineers race.

She likes getting tattooed.

For whatever reason, going under the needle does something for her. Perhaps it is the positive reinforcement of her peer.group of the day, or perhaps it is the delusion that she is enhancing herself. I don't know..

At this point being tattooed is part of her identity. I would also guess she has terrible impulse control.

There is no sane or rational plan to her designs. This is not about any kind of outcome.

Franchise fatigue is crap. If the studio makes a great movie then there will be great ticket sales.

"The Eternals" didn't do badly because people were tired.of cape shit, I'd did poorly because the script was terrible and the visual look muddy and dull.

If "The Incredibles" was released today, it would still do just fine, thanks.

The idea has persisted in Hollywood that there are some franchises so loved, with such a stron brand that the studio can shit out any movie at all and the box office will be amazing.

It turns out that brands have value and that damaging a brand enough can kill it.

These movies have been written by committee and reshot endlessly. The studio executived are so out of touch with the audience that they have no idea that their movie stinks until the test screening.

Movie executives honestly think that Fleabag is a brilliant writer and actor that the audience will love. The idea of Fleabag dunking on old, white Ford gives them tingles in their pants.

I suspect they the studio system is in decline. I don't think they Disney can be fixed. Perhaps Warner Bros can find relevance, but IMNSHO the days of the 300 million dollar movie are coming out a close.

Kudos for getting it done. Another person would have just hid under their bed and waited for it to blow up in their face.

Do one hard thing at a time, and things will get better incrementally.

Stick with it.

Tomorrow is a new day.

You get out your little dustpan and brush, you sweep up the pieces and you get on with your life. If things take another year, they take another year. If you have to blow a Marxist lecturer, just hold your nose.

You can do it. The future is still waiting for you.

Hang tough, Bam. You have fans.

Just switch battery chemistry. LiFePo has lower energy density, but higher charge/discharge cycles. It doesn't catch fire with high discharge rates.

Alternatively mandate that all LiPo cells have internal discharge regulation circuits. They are very effective.

Bam, if you want some practical advice I can help a bit.

But seriously, if you get your self-talk right everything improves a lot. It takes practice to become aware of the running commentary your brain is making. Recognizing how you talk to yourself and taking steps to make it more appropriate (kinder) is 3/4 of the battle.

For example, you want to change Wwow, I got nothing done today" into "So I have cleared some roadblocks. Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to hit my task list again."

You really have to watch comparing yourself to other people. Everyone is better at something than you, and they all lie about how well they are doing. No one is going to tell you that they have a tiny dick and their wife is leaving them, especially if it is true.

Best of luck Bam. I am quietly in your corner.

Bam, the only fair comparison to make is to compare yourself today with yourself from yesterday.

You are the one walking your path.

I have met people without an effective planning horizon. That is, they can't look into the future and consider how their actions will impact their future situation. Certainly not longer than the next meal.

Admittedly they were probably pretty damn stupid before they gave themselves alcohol induced brain damage; "organic brain injury".

Even then the medical profession deems them fit to make medical decisions about their own care.

My favorite part was when the women used their only barrel of drinking water to wash their hair, because bathing in the salt was making it look icky.

They were explaining to the camera that with the depressing conditions and lack of food it was important for them to feel good, so they were going to use all the water to wash their hair.

You should attempt to recreate the infamous Eiffel Tower Jump of Franz Reichelt.

I am sure with a little work you could design and construct a superior parachute coat!

i am not suggesting that the CIA orchestrated anything. I am suggesting that they aided forces that have the right enemies; Specifically by giving those forces information, access to arms and in some cases tactical advice.

4
DemolitionsPanda 4 points ago +4 / -0

Just remember that China literally tried this tactic in the Korean war. They sent old people and cripples, prisoners and political dissidents to try to send more bodies than the USA had bullets.

It didn't work then either.

The CIA's code-breakers and computer crackers work just fine. They have been feeding Russian internal communications to those that will use it to do damage.

Even just supplying arms, intel and battle plans they have been plenty effective.

The issue isn't that the CIA is a bunch of buffoons; some are, but not all. The issue is that they are firmly in the Clintonite camp of the Democrat party. The CIA are political actors; they are no longer a tool of the state, but serve their own interests.
