I'm suddenly reminded of all of those 'Man vs Women' survival shows for some strange reason...
Women : Keep getting lost on a 5km large island, cold, exhausted, can't produce clean water to drink, food is running low.
But they still have to take some ''me time'' to Sunbathe on the beach and swim on the ocean. Because clearly you can afford to waste time and dehydrate further, ladies.
Lots of bitching, no decent leadership, constant emotional breakdowns over the most petty shit like seeing some bugs or non-venomous snakes, and imaginary insults from other women that weren't actually uttered but supposedly implied. Little gets done.
Men : Shelter is built and the fire is going, protected from rain. Water is plentiful and food secured.
Conflict are usually resolved through getting shit done after arguing about it. When conflict stews, there is no breakdown crying for hours.
Women : After getting external help several times, have set-up a camp, but the fire keeps getting put-out by rain and they still can't find enough food. Some had to get evaluated by an external doctor, and evacuated.
Men : The Space Exploration program is launching its first satellite next week.
My favorite part was when the women used their only barrel of drinking water to wash their hair, because bathing in the salt was making it look icky.
They were explaining to the camera that with the depressing conditions and lack of food it was important for them to feel good, so they were going to use all the water to wash their hair.
