What's happening to the US armed forces?

What to know what they need? Why not listen to what a former Navy Seal says:

I'm guessing this is more about preventing them taking their grooming shows on the road (i.e. to schools), which seems to be happening more and more now.

Why create a badge that obfuscates who the police are there to protect and serve in the first place and then act all surprised Pikahcu when people begin sharing on social media?

Which also happens to coincide with footage of Jack Posobiec, who is critical of the WEF, being detained for what appears to be no reason other than to harrass him.

Don't wharry guise, it's just misinformation!

Fellow strayan here.

There are a couple of local search engines for IT kit that you might want to have a look at:

https://www.shopbot.com.au/

https://www.staticice.com.au/

I find staticice usually has better results, but kinda requires you to know what you're looking for.

You'll find shop front retail stores are generally more expensive than what you'll find online because they have higher operating costs (rent, marketing, wages, etc)

Harvey Norman is usually pretty expensive, so I don't bother with them. Same for Good Guys, Officeworks and Bing Lee.

JB Hifi occasionally has really good sales (sometimes 1/2 price or better), but that means being patient and waiting for the sale to happen.

Of the online retailers - Umart, Mwave, Scorptec, Compuworld, MSY Technology, Device Deal are all well known and have been around for a number of years, so they are reasonably low risk. They also ship all around Aus (i'm assuming you're regional NSW or similar).

Winc only do IT kit through their commercial business now (as you guessed) and their online shop only sells accessories I beleive.

Warranty for IT kit is generally handled by the manufacturers these days, so in effect it doesn't matter too much where you buy from, as long as the retailer isn't grey marketing (i.e. bringing in the goods directly from overseas and not sourcing through local distributors). You might want to check if they have a service centre near where you are located however.

Hope this helps.

Except Epic aren't being sued.

She's complained to the National Labor Relations Board - and they haven't even made a decision about whether to pursue the complaint. Absolute nothing-burger of an article.

She's definitely a troublemaker and Epic made the right decision in not hiring her, but Imp is being disingenuous with the title.

A lot of the more egregious shit has been walked back recently.

Here in NSW (and Vic as well I believe) you no longer have to isolate if you are a close contract. Mask mandates are gone except for hospitals and aged care. No more isolation requirements for people coming into the country, even for the unvaxxed.

Amazingly, case numbers have continued to decline even as the restrictions were removed, despite the fearmongering from so called 'Covid experts'. It's almost as if they had little to no impact on the spread in the first place....hmmmmmm.

This is correct - Taiwan still accounts for over 50% of the global supply, and we've already seen the knock on effects in other industries from the current shortage.

New fab plants are being built in the US, but won't come online until next year, and volume production won't start until 2024.

Karl Urban was in it too.

Worked well as a kinda 80's action movie throwback. Good dumb fun.

The first person sequence was awesome.

This reply summed it up pretty well:

And this is why we must all live in WEF approved city pods. Nobody should be allowed to own property outside of the approved pod zone other than BlackRock and Bill Gates. Plus they can Door Dash your dinner bugs right to you much easier.

If you liked True Detective, you might like Bosch (based on a series of books)

Justified is a good watch too (also based on a series of books), with Timothy Oliphant and Walton Goggins both putting in solid performances.

Not from the US (in case it's not obvious from my username lol) - but, damn, this was a good speech.

Lists all the shit he's got done without sounding arrogant or boastful, rather a lead by example kinda guy.

He used humour and a bit of self deprecation to good effect as well.

Fake and gay.

The real reason those babies died was becuase the Adeladie hospital was too cheap to purchase the required medical equpment, despite the fact that they were recommended to do so back in 2018 and the fact that this equipement would have given a return on invesment in less than 2 years.

Real story here: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-20/four-babies-die-in-four-weeks-in-adelaide-due-to-no-ecmo-machine/12784774

The corruption watchdog found that police had failed to tell Mr Atkins why he was being detained as they arrested him or shortly afterwards, provide him care after dousing him with capsicum spray and that some officers did not turn on their body-worn cameras.

So they ran the guy down in a police car, kicked him in the head so badly he needed to be put in an induced coma, failed to give him medical assitance afterwards, and conveniently body cameras were not turned on. One cop has had a paid holiday for a year (suspended with full pay) and the other one is not allowed to drive a police car but no other disciplinary action. And no-one faced any charges for this.

What a pack of corrupt cunts. I hope that lawyer sues the pants off them.

Two reasons:

  1. Politics - The government has to be seen to be doing something to tackle the issue, since to ignore it would be political suicide. But if they push vaccines, and the number of deaths and hospitalizations drop, they generate the perception they are acting responsibly and this can actually boost their approval ratings.

  2. Lack of Infrastructure - most governments know that if their public health infrastructure cannot cope with a massive influx of patients, especially in ICU's, where places are very limited. Delta being much more virulent, risks exposing this information to the general public, and the resulting optics would be terrible for the government. Promoting a vaccine that reduces the severity of the symptoms not only avoids this exposure, but shifts the onus back onto the public (YOU need to do the right thing and take the jab, if not enough people vaccinated, it's YOUR fault)

Fake and gay

I'm against mask mandates, but posting shit like this doesn't help.

https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/public-health-directions/restrictions-impacted-areas#face-masks

Face masks If you have been in South East Queensland since 1am AEST 29 June 2021, you must carry a face mask with you at all times, unless 14 days have passed since you were last in the area. You must wear a face mask at all times when you are outside your home, unless:

you are alone in your car or with the members of your household you are eating or drinking you are at your usual workplace and can physically distance from others (except if you work in a hospitality venue or are a passenger transport operator) you are alone outdoors or with members of your household it is unsafe. There are some other exceptions to wearing face masks, including for children under 12 and people with particular medical conditions or disabilities. If in doubt, wear a face mask.
