Happily married for 14 years this year, been together for a few years longer. Two kids, two dogs, own our house. Part of the key to success is both people learning to admit that they're wrong and talking out issues rather than sweeping them under the rug. Divorce shouldn't really be an option for either person unless there are very dire circumstances, such as abuse or constant adultery.

I'd probably buy it if it still had multiplayer. But R* only cares about GTAO at this point.

Ehhh...the "drag performance" in SMB was obviously meant to be for laughs, as Bowser was forcing his underling into it.

Every leftist in the country would have an aneurysm if classic country lyrics and songwriting made a comeback.

There's no way he didn't do it on purpose. Selfish little bastard.

...are they literally saying that black people are the only ones doing the shit mentioned in that song?

You know, I once had an idea for a dystopian sci-fi story about government enforced sterilization using over-population/global warming as the reason. I thought it was a good idea, but a bit farfetched and too on the nose, but now I'm thinking I should write it while it'd still fiction.

Boy they are running a marathon with the whole "Don't like something? That means you're terrified of it!" straw man, aren't they?

Where are they going to go though? Indiana Jones isn't really a franchise that can be expanded upon, so that's likely out...are they going to go all in on Lorcana?

Where would you suggest I begin?

At 37, I feel like I'm too damned old to learn programming/coding/game design. But I wholely support your endeavors.

I think it's actually expected to break $100 million, so it'll likely end up with a final box-office a bit higher. Taking physical sales into account, this'll be a VERY profitable movie when all is said and done.

And nothing of value was lost

This is my guess as well. It's the easiest, most sensical solution for what's actually happening. Like you said, if it was the CEO or somebody, they just wouldn't show the movie at all.

Mickey Spillane is another good one. He did a bunch of hardboiled pulp detective stuff mainly, but he has western stuff as well.

I believe William Johnstone is considered a good western author. Never personally read his stuff but I see his books everywhere and have seen plenty of leftists seethe over him, so he must have been doing something right

You could even sell tickets to such an event and use the proceeds to further fund operations that attack human trafficking. I'd buy a ticket.

Planning on seeing SoF next week, really happy my local theater is carrying it for a second week.

"prior to affirmative action, there existed a supposedly merit-based system for Black individuals to gain admission to colleges. However, these institutions employed racial profiling to prevent Black individuals from attending under the guise of this "merit" system."

Well then, it's a good thing we don't live in the same time period as before affirmative action was put in place, right?

BrainJuice 3 points ago +3 / -0

The only time affirmative action benefits anyone is when there is an active, real discrimination against non-whites. That may have been the case 50 or 60 years ago, but today no one would dare be discriminatory in a way that could be linked to them publicly, so I doubt that it does much anymore.
