If in the first five seconds of your game trailer you have Highguard's broccoli yee-yee-ass woke haircut, you know the game's development narrative, and likewise, if in the first five seconds it's the mermaid boss battle from Shantae, you know the developers care about the game's "fun" value, even if it may not be to your personal taste.
This is a very simple concept with a ton of predictive power. Low IQ people can't connect simple dots, so any degree of pattern recognition seems like disconnected logic. If the end results keep backing you up, then you just got lucky. Again.
