Oh look, that meat packing plant that ICE raided had a full waiting room of people applying for those jobs that we're told no Americans are willing to do (twitter.com)

Labor is subject to supply and demand, like any other commodity.

South Park mocking legitimate issues with "Dey took er jerbs!" was extremely effective propaganda. It was used to totally shut down the issue in attempted mockery, when in reality importing millions of people (or tacitly letting them cross the border) is obviously going to impact the labour market. In addition to every other facet of society.

Irony being that that entire episode managed to logically and directly lay out all sorts of legitimate arguments against immigration that even a Leftie couldn't dismiss outright, even naming the guy who parrots the arguments they use still to this day "Aging Hippie Liberal Douche." From the language barrier, to the hypocrisy (coming over because of poverty, then buying fancy cars), to people actually wanting their shitty jobs, to "once one guy did it all the rest wanted it too."

But of course they can't let a good "mock the rednecks and Righties" slide, so they made sure they looked as over the top as possible despite being 100% right, until the buttsex, and the Lefties only talked about that part.

Likewise, get women out of the workforce, and men's wages will rise due to higher demand.

Competitive employers, better wages, more opportunity for advancement. Many things will get better by removing women from the work force.

Not to mention not having to be around women at work.

And the complete disappearance of HR departments, being replaced by a guy in finance doing payroll stuff on the side and individual managers doing their own hiring.

Problem is, to my knowledge, it was never illegal or anything before, at least in my state.

Had a great aunt who was independently wealthy from working in the 1920s and 30s. Her husband had a blue collar job working for her, I think that is how she met him. My grandmother did well despite being a teenage runaway in the 40s because of the WWII labor shortage, but she quit working when she got married.

Women just nearly always chose to stop once they found a husband, and were happy to do it before.

Most things women rally around was never truly illegal, it was just looked down upon and people weren't willing to give it much support. So what often happened is they couldn't use their daddy's/husband's money to get started, and without that most women never go anywhere.

Those who had the skills and passion to actually succeed, always just blew through that social shaming and went on to their greatness if they could. Just like it is for men.

That's what I always say about these 'Encourage women in X' programs. The kind of women who will actually succeed in X don't need encouragement, they will triumph through their own passion and will. All that ends up happening is you cram these things full of mediocre women who don't really have any deep desire to be there, and will quit at the first whiff of adversity.

This is exactly what happened when Trump raided Koch Foods Incorporated (not a Koch Brothers property), and deported 300 people in a mass arrest. The very next day, the company had dozens of job openings. By the end of the year, the local community saw an increase in employment and wages among working class blacks and whites in the community whom had been displaced by the immigrant labor.

Truth is, he should have been raiding these companies from the beginning and arresting the HR staff.

Just one HR rep or manager perp walking facing 10 years for a felony offence. The laws are already on the books. Would change everything overnight. I'm assuming that is held in the back pocket as the nuclear option.

Difficulty: those same hiring authorities would have been canned for racism if they looked too closely at the fake ID some non-English speaking squatamalan shows them when applying for the job and the company would be hit with fines by the fags at the EEOC.

Maybe, before arresting them for going along with the incentives the federal government pushes, we could try removing those incentives? Maybe even turn the incentives the other direction and give a reward when an illegal candidate with fake ID is reported instead of hired?

Not to mention HR is effectively an enemy faction as it is. That should never be held as back-pocket option. If I had known that, I would have advocated it on day 1.

Most HR personelle should be in prison because most of them are rabid communists burning down western civilization.

This was always a stupid and demoralizing argument. As if Americans are too proud or lazy to not do something. My trash gets picked up regularly by dudes willing to hold onto the sides of a fucking truck. Ain’t no job every American “refuses” to do, to such a degree the country can’t function without a bunch of illegal Mexicans. Not to mention the Mexicans that are here legally or were born and raised here would still be willing to do those jobs.

To go further, nobody wants to work most jobs. That’s why we get paid.

Where I have lived the guy driving the truck does, while the newer workers who hold onto the truck and toss the garbage in it make next to nothing(the times I've lived somewhere it wasn't a fully automated wheely bin), but potentially can move up to driving the truck.

Because, at least in this case, they used E-Verify. But E-Verify does not work, AND the EEOC can sue you for discrimination for going beyond the minimum requirements. As I pointed out in another thread, if a Hispanic dude speaking no English presents documents preporting him to be "John Smith from Buffalo NY" you run the risk of the Feds punishing you if you refuse to hire on that basis. This is not well known and not talked about at all.

the "people aren't willing to do these jobs" line is used in every single country. The UK used it when they started noticing browns doing every single service job. It's all a controlled plan, and it is happening everywhere, people ARE willing to work, there's nothing inherently demeaning about these types of jobs. What is happening is (((Corporations))) bring in cheaper workers, literal wage slaves, to undermine the white population, to replace them with people who are more controllable, better slaves.

As long as they keep following the rule they stated before that was something along the lines of "If we do an immigration raid and happen upon other non-targeted illegal immigrants in the process, they will be deported as well" and are doing as many raids as they can without letting up, I don't really have a problem with emphasizing some industries over others, as long as they eventually move into the soft-exempted ones.

I do have a problem with outright telling those industries they will not be prosecuted.

For one thing, it is arguably aiding and abetting or conspiracy to prepromise pardons and non-prosecutions(I know it was widely done by previous Presidents)

For another, it gets them to not only keep their current illegal workers, but they'll probably actually hire more now that they have even cheaper illegal workers who have been let go from prosecuted industries.
