Scott Adams, creator of dilbert, reveals he also has cancer (twitter.com)

He also revealed that he held off announcing it because he knew people would mock and bully him about his Clott Adams status and wanted to minimize the time people could.

Which means we should absolutely continue to do that, because the amount of people dead or ruined by being forcefully vaxxed is greater than any suffering he may receive in cancer. And he was happy to bully with full force that onto people.

Sorry old nigger, you don't get to just walk back on things like that once the consequences come back. You tossed your entire life's legacy in thinking you were on the "right side of history" and now it'll be forever tarnished with that asterisk.

His cope over the vaxx has become a thing of legend. He's the originator of the 'vaxx-sceptics were only accidentally right!' meme, which I expect will become the line the establishment leans on until - but only if - vaxx orthodoxy crumbles.

Wasn't there also a point where he revealed that he'd become suicidal over vaxx induced heath issues? Which were supposedly separate to this?

I hope he beats his cancer but he looks like shit. Maybe tapping into the righteous anger he should feel at his betrayal by every social, political and medical institution would give him the impetus to overcome this. Covid vaxx causes turbocancer, all other vaccines are also trash.

He also revealed that he held off announcing it because he knew people would mock and bully him about his Clott Adams status and wanted to minimize the time people could.

Contemptible.

Edit:

"People are going to say it's because I got the covid shot - there's no indication that makes a difference."

This is a beetle-brained wretch. I rescued a bluebottle from my cats' milk yesterday as it writhed in self-inflicted death throes. Scott Adams is on the same level. We humans are all not the same.

His cope over the vaxx has become a thing of legend

What's funny is before that, he was going to go down as a legend in Right wing circles for his big video on whites needing to segregate. He had gained a little fiefdom and could have rode that attention into the sunset, with no one remembering his long history of being a hypocritical little bitch.

Instead he gave in to his fear, let himself fall for all the lies, and then refused to tuck his tail to admit he was irrational.

That "white people need to get away from black people" occurred at the beginning of 2023, long after anyone ceased to care about Corona.

In some fairness to him, he has 180d entirely on the shots. So at least there is that.

Nope, he's only walking it back because of how badly he fucked up and still chose to delay the announcement because he knew precisely how it was going to bite him in the ass, irony intended.

Pretty surprising he would announce this at all if that's what he is afraid of.
Just take it to the grave. It's not like you will necessarily get to see your detractors' reactions afterwards.

I'm gonna guess his need for attention and control required him to say something.

But unlike the past, this is the end. So he can't just smug, sip coffee, and pretend he was right all along. So he is actually afraid now.

And I feel for that, death is scary and cancer is the devil. But, I won't cry for someone who was gleeful to send people to their deaths so he could just be right in arguments online.

If you attribute every form of cancer to the Coronashot, then you really have no business calling people who wear masks in cars in 2025 crazy.

– Adamrises 5 points 1 year ago +5 / -0

I'm not, but he already did it for us by acknowledging it. He was so scared of people saying it he is here delaying talking about his cancer because he knows people will say it, and dodged the easy dunk on them for doing so because of how scared he is. I'll even do it for him:

The vaxx gave you blood clots and heart issues not cancer, its why I was Clott Adams remember?

Instead he gave it power and now people will do so, probably without believing it, because he showed weakness.

"Crazy people will say X" is very far from saying "X".

I can say that if you post a remotely rational opinion on Ukraine, crazy people will say that you're a Russian spy. That's not saying that you're a Russian spy.

Maybe he did show weakness. People aren't at their strongest when they have cancer. This reminds me of the Herman Cain Awards though.

Maybe he did show weakness. People aren't at their strongest when they have cancer.

And he is allowed to be weak. I really doubt anyone would fault him for being so, cancer is gay.

But he spent a lot of time gleefully and aggressively demanding people poison themselves, despite having valid criticisms and questions he himself admitted were correct, and then is trying to elicit sympathy even now from that people hold that over his head. He is throwing his blood in the water hoping for victimhood, rather than offer humility to let those bygones go.

He still needs to be right, and that is more important to him than his death apparently.

He is on record for saying he wanted to kill himself over mysterious unspecified vaxx-related health issues, which he doesn't mention any more. Insistently separating all health complaints from the vaxx even when the complainer in question is now a crumbling skeleton, is more retarded than any comparison you can cook up.

I'm not sure that's an accurate summation of his views. It's really hard to know his views because he rarely says them outright, or even has them concretely. Many many times he's talked about techniques to play it both ways by saying things semi ambiguously and allowing people to "hallucinate" in the gaps as he put it. Probably his biggest flaw was being aggressive to those that made the logical assumptions that he without a doubt knew what he was doing. For example he'd make a post counting 1 through to 10 but miss the 4, obviously insinuating that 4 was the missing number, then when someone accused him of saying the number 4 he's accuse them of hallucinating it because he never actually physically said the number.

He definitely left the conclusions about the covid shots unsaid, many many times he'd follow the patterns of "this is what the FDA said and I'll spend 40 minutes shredding it, but conclude with "they're the experts and we should follow the experts"

It allows people to draw the conclusions they want from it.

No, its debate club nonsense to let someone feel like they are the smartest person in the room by acting like they are playing ultra Machiavellian schemes with always having an out of "I wasn't wrong because technicality I left open here!!"

He isn't a retard, he knows what conclusions he is building towards and implying. Everything else is him trying to always be right and feel smarter than you, which is only makes him more pathetic.

I disagree on the premise that there's more than one way to skin a cat.

I agree in your assessment of him, he obfuscates and personally is a weird dude with a weird way of looking at the world.

I disagree with you; in the fact that he is, at the end of the day, on "our side" of the fence. And has been for decades, whilst living in California and remaining effective at messaging despite being cancelled multiple times.

In a war, not everyone has to be shooting. Someone has to drive the trucks bringing supplies. I think if you tally up what he's actually done, judge him by the fruits he bears, he will squarely end up having done good.

Case in point, you watch any video of him and you probably end up angry. 90% you are angry about a specific based topic, and you are angry because you didn't think he went far enough.

But your thinking about that topic and you can't stop thinking about it. That's the point.

in the fact that he is, at the end of the day, on "our side" of the fence

Disagree. He is on his side. Whatever side makes him feel like he is superior to you, and also being a bit contrarian enough to feel like he isn't a conformist. Even in his video reversing course on the vaxx, he refuses to fully admit to wrongdoing and is mockingly going "you right, you right, happy now?"

He has shown his intelligence to be worthless in the face of fear, his "analytics" to be easily led astray by blind authority worship, and his pride unwilling to allow him to even admit to being wrong in the face of being hit with it. And considering that's his entire purpose, to be that smart guy willing to call shit out, he invalidated any fruit he could bear with doubt.

Sure we can talk about him in incredibly vague philosophical musings to obfuscate the issue, its almost fitting given who he is, but that is still just engaging in debate club nonsense.

you are angry because you didn't think he went far enough. But your thinking about that topic and you can't stop thinking about it.

Sorry, but this doesn't make any sense. If I'm mad at him for not going far enough, then me "merely thinking about it" has no use or value, because I'm already committed and extreme on the position. And if the point is to "shock" someone into thinking about something all day, then they would be thinking he went too far for that to work. But I get what you probably meant.

I'm sure his point is to be inflammatory to get that shock value thinking going in people. But that requires him to have a level of trust towards his intelligence or rationality that he cannot be just waved off as "oh that retard is spouting off again." Which, as I've said, he has lost. He is now relying fully on Gell-Mann Amnesia, there's a debate club term for him, to keep people from remembering his unreliability to have any further credibility.

Let me back up, I think he had a persuasion filter that was very useful for 80% of reality, and would try to fight a rear guard to stretch it over the remainder rather than just acknowledging it.

He did that by communicating in a feminine way. He used words not to communicate direct information but to influence and lead you to a certain point abstractly or indirectly. That is feminine communication, not masculine.

I'm not trying to say he didn't have his faults or defend them, I'm saying that I think he will be judged positively as time goes on, as ultimately he did more good than harm.

I'm saying that I think he will be judged positively as time goes on, as ultimately he did more good than harm.

And I'm disagreeing with this. As time goes on all his videos/writings will be forgotten (as happens to us all), sans the one that got him cancelled, while his legacy will be "wrote a newspaper comic that was funny to office drones decades ago" and "Clott Adams." And that controversial video and the Clott Adams thing will completely derail a Leftie or a Rightie who might stumble upon him later, by them instantly dismissing him on the topic for being a "wrongthinker/retard."

If he was a major politician or someone on that level, whose every movement can have linger effects for decades you'd be right. But he was just a formerly famous guy talking on the internet.

Adams is a mixed bag. His vax takes were fucking retarded. But he also had the balls to say the truth about race at great personal cost.

Regardless of if his cancer is vax-induced or not, he's given me some sensible chuckles over the years and I think this news still sucks.

This is why women shouldn't have the right to divorce. They are incapable of honoring the oaths they take, thus society must enforce those oaths on their behalf.

I'm sure women will come out of the woodwork any time now to blubber on about how it's men that normally leave women in these types of situation.

This is a lie, btw. Most couples don't break up - the one study that was done that found this turned out to have completely fucked the math and had to do a serious retraction.

We'll never know will we? Maybe in 200 years someone will do a retrospective study looking at the stats and conclude "Wow they fucked up the human genome for decades, what were they thinking?! Millennium npcs were so dumb!" Of course by then it will only be another anecdote for the history books, like the Spanish Flu being entirely preventable and made worse by health professionals, and it won't stop people from consuming the new and improved Aerosol TurboAids because their Neuralynk told them to.

We'll never know will we?

A lot of people here do seem to 'know'. When they're not claiming that Antonin Scalia was murdered, because who ever heard of an unhealthy 80-something dying a natural death, they're claiming that the late Diamond and Silk member died from the vaccine... even though she didn't take any.

Maybe in 200 years someone will do a retrospective study looking at the stats and conclude "Wow they fucked up the human genome for decades, what were they thinking?!

What a convenient timeframe.

Of course by then it will only be another anecdote for the history books, like the Spanish Flu being entirely preventable and made worse by health professionals, and it won't stop people from consuming the new and improved Aerosol TurboAids because their Neuralynk told them to.

The fact that the Corona vaccines weren't what they promised soured a great number of people, including normies, on them, and will likely make them question "does it really work and will it continue to work" for anything in the future. The truth is so prozaic that the Corona vacicnes simply don't do much, and that includes the nine trillion percent increase in cancer they you are absolutely sure is real.

But in the meantime, these people can continue to sell their "pureblood sperm", which is 100% guaranteed to be free of "a fucked up genome"... and of IQ points.

I didn't watch the video because it was almost an hour long.

But the TL; DW according to his Wikipedia is that Adams revealed he has Stage IV prostate cancer with bone mets just like Biden.

For anyone with any healthcare background, talking about "cancer" in general is pretty vague & useless because the natural history of each type of cancer is so varied.

So the first thing that is asked upon the announcement of "cancer" is "What type?"

For example, Biden actually technically had cancer before when he had a basal cell carcinoma removed from his skin in 2023. But it was a big nothingburger because basal cell tumors have essentially no metastatic potential.

So the first thing that is asked upon the announcement of "cancer" is "What type?"

To add to this once cancer metastasises you don't get then have the original cancer and other kinds of cancer, you have the original cancer in multiple places.

So if you get lung cancer and it spreads to your liver, you have lung cancer in your lungs and liver, you don't have lung cancer and liver cancer.

Ok I watched the part where he talks about it.

I first read the Dilbert Future in the late 90's and have followed him since ever since the back section of the book talks about affirmations and even back then talked about reality not quite being what it seems.

I think someone who produces a "rise and fall" documentary of him well will produce hours of extremely interesting content.

It's hard to summarise him from that time period but I'll do my best.

Scott Adams is one of the best ways to "open the door" to alternative ways of thinking, but his failure is the next stop of "doing something" with that new knowledge falls a little flat. Any criticism of him I think stems from misusing something that he's created. It'd be like finding Excalibur and pulling it from a stone, only to use it as a door stop.

I really really think that history will judge him favourably as time goes on as his waffling fence sitting period will fade into history and his initial takes on reality being moldable as humans fundamentally view reality irrationally, the 2 movies on one screen becomes his legacy.

It's probably too early to talk about lessons from his life but I think ultimately his life shows that reality matters. Sure you can bend reality but ultimately it still gets a say. I'll use his love life as an example, he had a "normal" marriage to "Shelley" initially and divorced a few decades ago, then he delved into the reality bending phase and met and married Christina a smoking hot neuroscientist instagram model. But a Woman like that is one day, inevitably, going to roll over one morning and see through the spell and realise that Scott is just an old, dweeby, effeminate bald nerd and from that moment the marriage was doomed.

Yes you can make yourself a charming man of mystery and make anyone fall in love with you, but at the end of the day, 10's do not marry 3's.

I'm sad he's going, and especially in such a painful way. He's certainly someone that you could benefit from studying quite a bit after he's gone. That's probably the best eulogy you could say about anyone. He definitely made a mark on the world despite not having Children of his own.
