But still noteworthy, as it is made by Capcom. Which is one of the companies that had censored on behalf of what they had been told by their Western branches. Although interestingly, they are also one of the ones who went "Welp, so much for that" and started changing course when they saw it wasnt working.

I wouldn't count on it. This is the company that made people switch off of the default costume for Rainbow Mika in grand finals of...I think it was Capcom Cup?...because the default costume was too revealing. I don't trust Capcom as far as I could throw Ono.
This was at EVO in I think 2018 and had to do with ESPN as they had an agreement to broadcast on TV. Capcom wasn't to blame for this one, though something Capcom did do during this era was censor the butt slap on Mika's super after the game released.
I think they also changed up the camera angle on Cammy's Super or her intro cinematic didn't they? Something to do with not letting us see beautiful women's asses going on with that game.

Capcom is completely schizo about their design decisions on everything, including censorship. You'll wake up one day and see a game is going full Woke level and then two weekends later a completely different one is jiggling all over the place.
Even this Monster Hunter you can see it. Because they announced that they are making it so that the armor isnt gendered anymore so a female character can wear the male armor, which is something the Woke types have pushed for for a while. But then they didnt actually change anything about the designs of the armor, so the female armor is still skimpier than the male armor and shows off more skin, like traditional gaming design.
That's a decision that at least has some logic beyond wokeness. Monster Hunter armor has history. You know exactly what 90% of the sets will look like because they are the exact same as every game prior since the Monster's introduction. So having the ability to pick and choose them to look exactly how you want has more value than pure virtue signalling, because a lot of the time certain gender's look leaps better than the other before you get into any skimpy value.
Ever since World pushed to make basically every armor Layered anyway, that has been the only thing preventing near 100% customization.
But its Capcom, so you cannot tell if it was a political decision or a rational one because they do both in completely random orders paradoxically everyday.
They likely won't reverse course on shitcanning Reuben Langdon though.

This is true. Downloaded the beta and the boobs are max a D cup. However, there is boob physics default.

My concern with new games like this is that they wait until they have the sales and then censor in a patch. Giving people what they want, getting popular because of it, and only then pushing an agenda is a popular play.
