Reddit is curated echo chamber at this point, the whole point of blogging like this is to huff each others' farts and nod alone with the newest $CurrentThing.
I even remember that there was a subreddit called r/RedditMinusMods that showed what the site would look like without the heavy curation that the admins/mods do. On many days at least 40 of the 50 front page links were not natural, and on some days it was all 50. It was banned, unsurprisingly.
Reddit has been having a nervous breakdown since Trump won, and it's only escalated to now he's president again they're have a mental breakdown....well more than usual.
So they'll leap on ANYTHING to justify their panic, just unlike 2016, people by and large don't give a shit as everything costs too much and your pronouns pisses people off.
Its really funny that within the same month that Elon is losing a lot of favor with the Right for being not racist enough (or against white people), he is also getting shit on by the Left for being totally a racist Nazi dogwhistler.
