As an europoor I have limited insight into how good the announced people are, so I would appreciate some opinions. I know Gaetz, he seems like a good pick for just about anything. Tom Homan sounds based, so that also looks good. What do you guys think about the picks so far?

Until he's in office and the picks are confirmed, I'm just waiting. There's still way too much fuckery possible. But at least they seem less swampy than the first time.
Not American but from an outsider perspective, he's picked mostly people who would be loyal to him or at least so loyal to their causes they'd never betray him (thinking RFK Jr on that especially how that UFC night went, was happy at the event, less happy at the McDonald's on the flight back lol)
Some of his picks like Gaetz might be misdirects like his negotiating stance, like asking for a lobster when you only wanted crab. If you get it, fantastic but if it's rejected you can get the crab and you seem more reasonable.
McDonalds is truly... not all that lol. I had some in honor of Trump's appearance. The fries were dried husks and the burger was just a patty on mayo. Some of that was probably the location, but they need to step their game up.
Fast food quality has gotten much worse and the prices have skyrocketed pretty much across the board, which is a good thing in a way.
This is almost universally true. Taco bell remains reasonable, possibly because there wasn't any cheaper to go with their model so they couldn't actually lose quality
I have had it outside and inside the US, the US version is legitimately worse. I swear Americans are getting a worse product in relation to their portion sizes and many don't travel enough to realise it.
I got some on Nov 5 for dinner, in Europe, and it was shit too. I shudder to think how bad it is in the US.
I only ever eat egg mcmuffins at MCdonalds. Anything else on their menu is better somewhere else.
I prefer crab. Crab is never chewy.
I don't understand why he picked Dr. Oz for a top health position, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it because I'm not in the "he must pass my purity test" camp. To them I say good luck waiting several generations or longer for someone who fits their belief system and makes the perfect picks 100% of the time.
There's no reason to think Dr. Oz can't do that particular job and he's another guy who probably isn't going to rebel against Trump.
He's picking people who understand the concept of loyalty and who have serious grudges against the people currently running things, unlike last time. There's no sane reason to be anything but completely thrilled.
The picks he's got are very good so far. Vast majority look like they have a personal grievance with the government branch they are in charge of. So long as each are staying in their lane, they are going to do severe damage to the Deep State as they get in.
Gaetz is a particularly aggressive pick because the a DOJ employee, working with a US Naval officer, attempted to blackmail his father in donating to a fake rescue operation in an illegal manner. If Gaetz's father didn't donate money to the scam, the DOJ official would release a public smear that they were investigating him for a sex trafficking operation. This way, if Gaetz's father donated the money, they'd put him in jail to pressure Gaetz. If Gaetz's father didn't donate the money, they'd put out the smear investigation into the media.
Matt realized the con, and basically confronted the blackmailer's personally, and demanded the DOJ release information about their investigation on Tucker's show on Fox. In response, the DOJ official lied that none of that had ever happened (despite Gaetz recording the encounter), and then released the info on the investigation. The investigation claimed that Matt Gaetz sex trafficked a minor by consensually sleeping with a 17 year old intern while crossing state lines on his private plane. The 17 year old intern explicitly denied the allegation and said that she was on the plane with all the other staffers, and was not being trafficked. This, by the way, is what the "ethics investigation" is.
Putting Gaetz in charge of the DOJ means everyone involved in this blackmail operation is going to do federal prison time because they attacked him and his family personally.
That should really tell you how aggressive these picks are.
Edit -
Oh, it just got better. The news media just leaked the contents of the ethics investigation from "a hacker". Weird how this hacker isn't a Russian spy like Wikileaks apparently was, but whatever.
You see, I was under the impression that the DOJ's initial investigation of "sex trafficking a 17 year old" was the House ethics investigation into the DOJ's investigation of "sex trafficking a 17 year old"... _BUT APPARENTLY THOSE ARE DIFFERENT.
So, the initial "sex trafficking a 17 year old" charge must have been dropped, but then, for some unknowable reason, the DOJ started investigating the exact same charge for completely different circumstances. Instead of allegedly having consensual sex on a plane while crossing state lines with a 17 year old who denies the charges; there was apparently another 17 year old that Gaetz allegedly had sex with at Epstien/Diddy like parties that allegedly he set up. This is obvious projection.
The DOJ failed to blackmail his father to use as a weapon against him, and as a result they made up the charge of "Sex Trafficking" and have been spending several years desperately trying to create the conditions for that charge to exist.
Rodgering a 17 year old did seem like the deep state was laying it on pretty thick.
Only in America would shit like that stick. In the civilized world the collective response would be "and?”
They were just projecting. But yeah, that's the basis of an ethics investigation by the House. It was an extension of the DOJ's attempt at blackmail. Which, by the way, is what they wanted because they never wanted the investigation to come to a conclusion so it could be used as a weapon.
Ok, I have been wondering what the heck anyone has been talking about when they bring up Gaetz. Most of my lefty friends are getting drunk and saying it's a terrible mess and Trump is Hitler. I guess this means they're backing off.
No, they're doubling down because a Gaetz DOJ appointment is going to lead to multiple convictions.

I don’t immediately feel slimey every time one of them is mentioned, so that’s good.
All zionists and jews so far. Huckabee is a Christian but also a Zionist. Can’t wait to see the image of all cabinet members and little graphics above each one.
There are some great picks, some less so. One thing I can say is, even the ones I'm wary of, have some good aspects too.
Examples: Rick Scott was the "most MAGA" candidate, but got beat out for Senate Majority Leader by John Thune, which disappointed and outright enraged some people, due to the 'secret vote' bullshit, and that there are some potentially big problems with Thune. That said, some people were happy as well, as apparently Thune was the best on guns, while the other two did sketchy stuff like support red flag laws or the "Safer Communities" bill. So even the potentially sub par or problematic picks have upsides.
Likewise, Hegseth has some issues (*cough cough* Israel/Zionism), but is also extremely based on other issues. He seems like a likeable dude, we'll have to see how he acts in his new role.
Bottom line is, we'll have to wait and see if these people get confirmed, and wait and see how they actually perform, which is the key. We don't know how these people rate on the based/cucked scale, until we see how they're willing to play ball.
I agree with some other comments, as well. Homan and Gaetz are great, and the whole bunch is pissing off the right people so, even if I don't agree with all of them on everything, just them pissing off the establishment is a positive sign. Dems, GOPe, and the media hate and/or fear all these people. That's good.
All I see is the RINOs in congress are doing everything they can to ensure a 2026 electoral defeat.
Picks for domestic matter is great. Picks for foreign matter.. not so great.
Not a fan of Noem.
Tulsi, jury still out.
Rest seem pretty good so far.
As someone else posted above I'm not getting too excited until the confirmation hearings start.
I'm guessing Thune (Senate Leader - McConnell meat puppet) and Johnson (Quisling RINO House speaker) are going to reveal themselves as NeverTrumpers and start all manner of fuckery.
How Trump reacts and whether he rolls over or goes nuclear will set the tone for the rest of his administration.
Correct, but I'd actually give him some benefit of the doubt anyway. It's a good sign that Trump is hanging out with the little wimp. Johnson trying to photobomb every picture at UFC was hilarious.
Johnson is a bitch, but if Trump recognizes that and gets him in line, maybe he'll be Trump's bitch.
I despise Johnson, but I'm also not counting him out yet!
The rumor on T_D is that apparently what Trump is trying to do is convince Johnson to call for a recess in the House, and when the Senate refuses, Trump then can use Article 2, Section 3 to force a recess and make the long overdue recess appointments.
Dunno if that has any legs, but I like it if that's what the gameplan is.
Most of them have direct experience with being targeted by weaponized government.
Only Tulsi, RFK Jr, and Gaetz are good. The rest are straight israel first neocons.
Homan and Hegseth are both better picks than Tulsi. They are actually there to be more than just a pretty face.
Israel will be pleased
We went from a global cabal of psychotic jews to another global cabal of psychotic jews.
They seem to be revealing their hand kind of early.
Trump's picks?
Trump is the most Zionist president ever.
Need I say more?
He is a step in the right direction, though. We gotta get the pendulum swinging back, and Trump was the push needed. The problems are being identified, people are able to express it without immediate reprisal. Once that's become the zeitgeist, the work on calling out who was ultimately responsible, and why, can begin.
I hope you're right, but based on Trump's words and previous actions, he seems like he is just a pressure release valve for the right.
You are very, very stupid.
All presidents are the most Zionist presidents ever. Obama feuded with Netanyahu but he also tried to usher in a Jewish secular golden age at home, which is arguably way worse.
Trump has picked two jews and one muslim so far. Could be better.
