I try to explain to leftists how we right-thinking people are BOMBARDED with far-left propaganda on a daily basis. TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, everything pushes the latest far-left talking points.
I explain that we're used to hearing 'opposing' viewpoints and used to dealing with them. It is the leftists who have never even heard a right-thinking viewpoint and are shocked to discover them.
They cannot grasp this, they think it's made-up. By doing so (rejecting new ideas) they prove it, but that too is lost on them 😋
I've been perusing reddit since election night. The extent to which they are insulated from any dissenting opinions cannot be overstated. They couldn't begin to articulate a real right wing opinion because they've only seen them filtered through their media. Then something like last Tuesday happens and they can't process it. It's pathetic to witness.
It's worse than just being insulated, it's reinforced by the scoring.
Any reasonable comments on reddit are at the very bottom marked with negative votes to reinforce that 'everybody' finds it reprehensible. Even if you sort by controversial and see a few rational comments, the next level boosts the most insane hivemind reply (also controversial because the sane people are there downvoting it).
Scoring should work where each upvote is worth say 5 downvotes.
They'd need 5x more hivemind voters (since each user only gets one vote) to drown out minority views and so what would happen is you'd see retard hivemind view and then not too far below it an actual sane, factual, reasonable view.
I'm convinced that the reason they actually hid up/down totals was to purposely encourage this hivemind.
That's before the comment gets removed and the user who posted it gets banned.
ResetEra's had some hilariously dumb takes this past week. Along with a few, legitimately reflective or self-aware comments, which immediately get pounced on by everyone else.
The biggest irony being, that a lot of these threads are on topics such as "what do we do to bring men back to the left" and other questions trying to answer why they lost the election. Hilariously and totally incapable of self-awareness.
One of the most amusing conclusions they've been drawing is that clearly they need to shove MORE propaganda down peoples' throats. (Because clearly, their propaganda couldn't POSSIBLY be pushing people away, right?)
And the answer they come up with is "Break up with your boyfriend! 4B!"

It begs the question of what do you even do with these people? Most of the posters there blame “right wing disinformation” and influencers like Joe Rogan and the Paul brothers. None of them even consider the possibility that their ideas are bad or wrong. And even only a few point out the self evident fact that their ideas are unpopular.

I got kicked out of a D&D group I was part of for six years because I said the 'wage gap' is the consequence of women on average making different life decisions than men, and not an intentional conspiracy to underpay women. The DM's wife and party member was really upset by this. I checked out the DM's facebook profile a couple months ago because I was curious if he was even still alive (the dude was over 500 lbs and is turning 45 this year) and he's now claiming to be bisexual and part of the 'gay mafia'. I can only imagine how he must be now... because I can't get back onto facebook because I guess my account is flagged for 'suspicious activity' after logging in with a VPN on, and the email account I have associated with it is also not allowing me to log in for the same reason. Oh well.

One of the biggest advantages we have on the right is maintaining strong family relationships, and using those relationships to bring people back into a healthy environment. Not trying to manipulate them, or even persuade them politically, but just keep reminding them of the value of family relationships with people that love them. Don't let them walk over you, but if Marxism sees the family unit as the focal point of Capitalist slavery over the liberated mind, then being a good family member is the strongest attack on Leftism you can make.

There are fundamental moral differences that cannot be reconciled. It's not one person liking Pepsi and the other enjoying Coke. It's one person supporting policies and people that undermine this country, and the other wanting to preserve the integrity of the nation.
It's one of the basic precepts of the social charlatan; preempt criticism of any character faults you might accidentally display. Either by projecting them onto others or virtue signalling the opposite for yourself.
