And In MN since Waltz updated the abortion statutes, there have been at least 5 infants "accidentally" born alive during a late term abortions than were left to die of exposure.
Trump (paraphrased): liberals were proposing the ability to execute a baby after it is born
moderator (paraphrased): there is no state in which the execution of a baby is legal. it's the end of your talking time, so you aren't allowed to respond!
totally neutral environment people!
meanwhile, in california, coroners cannot investigate the mother of a dead newborn if the death could possibly be from birth related causes. (meaning no investigations if the mother popped a bunch of pills at the last minute to kill the baby) https://archive.is/Wx0UK
Yup. They're doing exactly what you'd expect. On top of letting Harris get away with saying whatever the fuck she wants, all 3 people (Harris, and both moderators) are just piling on Trump in the most biased way possible.
It's so obvious how the first debate with Biden was used by the media/left as a way to get Biden out. You can see the very obvious difference in how the moderation went in that debate vs now. Now the they have their actual candidate, it's as bad/biased as it has ever been.
Disgusting.
It's stupid as fuck for anyone on the right to agree to debate the democrat candidate at this point. You're just setting yourself up for their propaganda system to go to work on you live.
The Democrats have pulled out all the stops on this one. The moderators are delivering obviously prepared, leading "gotcha" questions for Trump, basically doing half of Harris' work for her. While giving her favorably worded questions. It almost comes off like a principal-student-parent conference, with both sides treating Trump like a trouble-making child.
I know her prep team had some former Obama staffers, which is telling, (and unfortunately still effective as far as optics go).
Sort of a side-note, but I half wonder if the Democrats might've used AI text-gen trained on both candidates to plan out some of their strategy and talking points.
Absolutely true, but I also think Trump underperformed. Sadly, this would have been a great time for the completely unhinged version of Trump. I think he brought what he thought would be needed, and didn't want to seem like a bully, but didn't realize how badly the deck would be stacked.
He needed to just be insane here, he needed to bring the high energy. He had good reasons to be toned down, but it also meant he didn't get that many good gotchas, and Harris could coast on simply not being her usual cackling, word salad spewing self. He didn't lose, but he didn't win...and that's not quite what was needed. His opponents pulled out all the stops on this one.
I disagree with him underperforming. Guy did ok for the most part with the 3 v 1. But let's be honest kamala didn't really do much either as most of the debate were the mods carrying water for kamala. And people took notice of that. as of X's trendings, 3 of the tags are raking abc for the biased debate.
I couldn't stomach to watch any of it, but I did dip into some normie YouTube channels such as MSNBC just to see what the average normie comments were like, and oh boy were they roasting Camel Toes to the high heavens. It was quite the white pill moment for me.
CSPAN pre-caller state "I don't care what Trump says because I would never vote for him but I'd like to hear some of Vice-President Harris's polices because some people are saying she hasn't put any out."
"I don't care what Trump says because I would never vote for him but I'd like to hear some of Vice-President Harris's polices because some people are saying she hasn't put any out."
Wow, what a totally natural and not at all astroturfed caller.
I didn't find that particularly infuriating. Fully expected this kind of shitshow from the Democrat's extended campaign family.
What is infuriating to me are the idiots who don't see it, and the sociopaths idiots listen to who do see it but pretend it doesn't exist because they like it. Both are allowed to vote.
One of the moderators was among them. He said he say the clips of Trump joking and didn’t detect any sarcasm regarding Trump saying he lost by a hair. That guy is either retarded or lying. Both are disqualifying, he shouldn’t vote.
After seeing the gestalt of commentary, both during and after, I will only say this:
If the Trump campaign ever talks to ABC again, they deserve to lose.
You know how we keep saying we really don't hate the media enough?
Yea, we do not. If I had billionaire class money, I would make it my sole mission in life to bankrupt ABC, and make sure that neither of the two fucks who "moderated" that travesty worked anywhere in media again.
He's been falling for a lot of bait and going overboard on points that he's not likely to gain favorable votes on anyway.
Like on Roe vs Wade. He'd be better off just keeping it short and to the point, since it's a topic where people are already firmly embedded in a camp. And pro lifer voters don't have as much enthusiasm as they once did imo.
That is my negative takeaway. Kamala spun her wheels on nothing but threw out bait that he should have let pass him by. He swung too often on her points without giving his own points back.
I had to come in at the worst time, when Kackles was attacking Trump over how he killed the border security bill and how people are always supposedly leaving his rallies early. He could have pointed out how said bill was loaded with more money-wasting pork, wasn't actually going to secure the border and was more about increasing the flow of illegal aliens into the country, AND how a bill shouldn't have ever been fucking necessary in the first place and that the Biden Administration spent all its time actively impeding all attempts to secure the border. Instead, he wasted all his time on the jab about his rallies and bragged about how big they were compared to hers. Really annoyed me how he fell into such an obvious trap on a subject that should have been a slam dunk for him, even with the moderators poised against him.
The debate just didn't improve from there. This should have been a massive humiliation for Kackles, but I don't think it's going to change any minds.
My lefty friends are raging about how they've won this one, and it was awful to watch Trump. They called him a stupid uncle and that Harris was so noble.
On a more serious note: Harris did better than I expected; yes you can stone me to death for all I care.
Nope, no stones here. She overperformed her (very low) expectations, and I think Trump sadly underperformed. I think Trump underestimated just how stacked it would be, and his more moderate persona didn't cut it. This is a win for Harris, simply by merit of not being exposed for the cackling psycho she is. Not a big win, but certainly Trump didn't get what he needed from this debate either.
The mods were fair at first but then started to toss more and more spikes toward Trump...
Now that I'll disagree with. That opening was fucking brutal. They from the very start were handing Kamala "responses," and Trump had to interrupt to get his. Even if she was calling him out much more harshly and directly than he had. The mods were shit from literally the very first question; it was an abomination.
"There is no state where it is legal to kill a baby after it is born."
That's why they kill it before it is completely out, i.e. "partial birth abortion", you disingenuous cunt. That bitch moderator is boiling my blood.
And In MN since Waltz updated the abortion statutes, there have been at least 5 infants "accidentally" born alive during a late term abortions than were left to die of exposure.
The California after birth abortion bill was only changed after outcry. The democrats tried to pass infanticide and got caught.
Heels Up Harris just used both the "very fine people" hoax and the "cops died on Jan 6" hoax, and the moderators are not calling her on either.
If I were Trump I'd leave after tearing a new ass hole into the moderators.
And "bloodbath," and (abridged) "suckers and losers," and various abortion lies, and "people banned from IVF." It was pretty insane.
totally neutral environment people!

My internet is out so can’t watch it on TV. Ok so the moderators are the usual style where they help Dems

Pretty much it’s still a shitshow

I don't have the stomach to listen to Cackles. God speed to those who do 🫡
"Mr. Frog, why are you so evil? You have one second to respond."
"TIME'S UP! PLUS, YOU'RE WRONG!"
CSPAN pre-caller state "I don't care what Trump says because I would never vote for him but I'd like to hear some of Vice-President Harris's polices because some people are saying she hasn't put any out."
Addendum: Trump starting off strong.
Wow, what a totally natural and not at all astroturfed caller.
She doesn't put out? Willie Brown disagrees.
The fucking moderators fact checking Trump but ignoring Kamala’s lies was infuriating.
I didn't find that particularly infuriating. Fully expected this kind of shitshow from the Democrat's extended campaign family.

I read that as "walked," and thought...harsh but fair.
God damnit Trump, you said everything right. there was no need to deflect. people will notice that deflection

I'm watching the Pjmedia live blog, its kinda a tradition with me:

My lefty friends are raging about how they've won this one, and it was awful to watch Trump. They called him a stupid uncle and that Harris was so noble.
They were going to do that regardless
True. They also treated it like a sport and drank a lot.
Politics is nfl to leftists
Politics is professional wrestling to lefties.
Your lefty friends are evil cultists
They think they're normies
Did we just the reddit outage treatment?
Yes. It wasn't just on your end.
I noticed the site giving 500 Server errors for a bit, it does seem like suspicious timing.
Harris endorsing the two state solution. Damn haven't heard of that in years.
Didn't watch this shitshow. How many magic words did they spam per minute? Did someone at least cast Supernova?
Nope, no stones here. She overperformed her (very low) expectations, and I think Trump sadly underperformed.
