The Civil Rights Act was probably the worst piece of legislation forced down by giving SCOTUS a means to override the Constitution over bullshit pretenses.
Thank you Celler and LBJ, hope you're both burning in hell. Maybe JFK too, since he supposedly proposed the bill first.
"WHAAAA, WHAAAA, RACIST! Why do you hate black people?" - Retards everywhere.
Well I'm glad you asked, first when 13% of a population....
wheyn 13% oof a popuwashun dinndu nuffin'
"Scholars" will straight tell you that Civil Rights has superseded the Constitution. That the Constitution is only valid as modified by social justice.
It's been going on for a while now where Urinalists and toilet-paper certified experts tell us the Constitution is outdated. Tyrants just want an excuse to make whatever laws they see fit.
Honestly comes down to "my gammy was a slave, and you'll be my subordinate now".
The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly. - Abraham Lincoln
People need to mock the fuck out of this. Take on pronouns like "milord/milady", and actually follow through to ensure it's enforced to show that this is utter fucking stupidity. Fuck it, go one further and go with "Massa" or some shit. Make them play by their rules and do so with a grin. Everyone can know it's a load of shit, but they need to play by the rules they put forward. Anything less will ensure this creep continues.
You don't get a response by letting the frog continue to boil. And while accelerationism is often top tier stupidity, it does hold validity when utilised to show why something is bad before it goes further and further and further. Don't let the slope slip, let it avalanche so people can't just adjust to changing rules.
The enfagification of the West continues at breakneck pace.
I dunno if I can even meekly muster a "Accelerate." cope at this point.
You don't need to cope with accelerate. Just sit back, put on your sunglasses and enjoy the ride.
There's a little bit more than just pronouns in this.
"Hello, fellow ladies. Don't mind me, just gonna take a wizz with my very feminine penis. You smell really nice today, by the way."
Well interestingly it doesn't say that anyone can go in any bathroom, which would be the more binary approach to access. It says transgender. So IDK if the government determines who is transgender, or what. in a place like the UK with monopoly government healthcare, they could tie it to that.
That's the key point. Your rights are subordinate to their desires.
No.
You can't make me say something not true, regardless of how discriminatory you think it is.
In the mandatory harassment training I had to take for my contract gig at MegaCorp it was made clear that not using them constituted workplace harassment.
Even if it's not "mandatory" it's taught by all the standard training modules and adopted as standard practice, so you can be fired for not going along with it.
I honestly try to avoid using pronouns at work. Mike checked in Mike's changes before the end of the day yesterday. Such changes fixed bug 311 but resulted in new bug 312.
Or often, Mr. So I will refer to Mr Smith instead of Mike. This is especially useful when people have "go by" names that you don't want to deal with. And then the traditional Ms for the misses. I do have to make that distinction, though. Honestly, they're probably just mr until I know them better, anyways, and no one has ever complained about that.
When I do have to address a username only, I do use "their". I dunno why. Just sunk in.
The Civil Rights Act needs to be repealed or invalidated. Enough is enough.
That's a start. 13th, 14th, 15th, and 19th amendments need to go too
I see no reason to keep any amendment past the 12th in its current form (and last I checked it wouldn't kill us to repeal that, and the 11th as well.)
my pronouns are nigger/faggot
Sounds like it's finally time to break out the I/me pronouns for maximum confusion.
Oddly enough China doesn't have pronouns.
Taiwan/Numba/One
No.
They just wanted to get married. Now they all need to swing. Shouldn't have pushed.
finally I get to be recognized as the king of France! I will no longer tolerate any of you bigots denying my proper pronouns! for those who need a refresher, my pronouns are
I will not accept any abbreviations or misspellings, especially improper casing.
So it must be "makesty" with the K?
did I stutter!?
It does seem like a lot of this shit is accelerating, across much of the West...
I guess we could say "Election Year" (or "Olympic Year" for France), but I don't think that's an adequate explanation...
I honestly think that TPTB waited, saw how easily everyone forgot the egregious rights violations (and actual rights violations, in that instance) of Covid, and forgot the "Summer of Love", and so they've decided to really... "Up the ante", this year.
As another example, statue teardowns would never have been allowed in Aus, even five years ago, especially when conducted by vigilante mobs, and yet, because people keep voting for the left-wing fucks who want that to happen, we've now seen an appalling example of that, in the last week...
And there's no pushback, so it won't stop. Nor will the pronoun/"misgendering" police, nor will the authoritarian creep (needing a QR code on your phone to enter Paris during the Olympics, for example).
It's all getting worse, and no one (outside places like New Caledonia) is doing anything to push back.
Frog boiling indeed.
