An Employee of Sweet Baby Inc Targets a Steam Curation Group With Cancel Culture - Techopse - Trading Enthusiasm for Anger
A single individual has taken it upon themselves to inform unaware customers that their games were curated and developed with the involvement of the socially conscious ESG consulting firm, Sweet Baby Inc. Now, employees of the company have become aware and...
Its almost a perfect microism of how people become anti-semitic.
A "group" has an oddly large and undeserved amount of power over top names, that they are proud to brag about and talk openly of. Until suddenly people actually name them and note their own words and direct effects on the world, which then has them get really mad that you even say their name outloud because that's evil to do and you must be shut down from even acknowledging their existence.
I'm actually surprised they haven't started to dissolve and scrub themselves to hide the web yet. Given this, they certainly seem to think they are invincible so they might try to drag all their "clients" down with them rather than try to hide and regroup.
I don't think they can just make people forget about them. Now that they have a name, they are trying to protect the name as well as they can. Hell, I'm surprised that they haven't just tried to pass it off as "Hey, this guy is just listing the games we worked on, use his list to find us!" which would probably not cause as much undue attention - I've seen other libs like /r/Gamingcirclejerk try to spin other lists of woke games in a positive light like that.
We should be ready to let the world know who they are if valve caves and bans the curator/user - then I think we would have an actual case against both companies. Archive/screenshot everything, and watch this space for this development for the time being.
Inb4 they try to rebrand.
Diabetic Toddler Inc.
That's why I'm surprised they are still trying. Normally groups like this will quietly just disappear once found to re-emerge with a new name and leader, but the same connections and goal.

Just in case anyone wanted to follow.
Followed, thanks!
Spider-man 2 was also worked on by Sweet baby right?
Wonder why he hasn’t not recommended it yet?
... Because it's not on Steam. Can't exactly Steam Curate something that isn't on Steam.
Yeah I’m an idiot, I didn’t know Miles Morales wasn’t exclusive to PlayStation so my brain got crossed
I'm sure Spider-Cuck 2 will get to Steam at some point. Then they'll be sure properly curate it.
Thanks. Just followed.
Even though I typically don't buy new games anymore (other than Helldivers 2 to support the developers), it's always good to follow the trends to see how much of what has been converged by the mind-virus.
everyone at that company needs to e on a list and when they change companies the infection must be noted.
Literally all comes back to Gamergate.

We exist in the eternal GG Samsara, there is no escape
Holy shit, he finally switched pics from his beloved Wakfu furry woman commissions.
if you believe that it's bad that people have a list what you worked on... do you truly believe in what you did as work?
just take a look at your average resume. people are proud to mention all the projects they worked on. so why is sweet baby so different? (we all know the answer)
sunlight really is the most effective disinfectant
Not only is this retarded employee targeting the group. They're also targeting the steam user that runs the group by trying to get their 13 year old account banned. An account, by the looks of it, put a lot of money into. If Valve goes along with this then I will no longer purchase anymore Steam games. Banning a curator group is one thing, but banning entire accounts and their purchases is a huge worry.
Its unlikely thst either will be banned. The faggots twatter account, however, thst might considering how many people are reporting for harassing the group and steam user.
This is why I simply do not trust steam as a platform anymore, this kind of gamifying is all over the place, I wasn't even aware this group existed until you guys pointed it out. You have honest groups like this simply pointing out what these fuckers are up to ( Which I'm sure sweet baby inc won't claim is harassment or anything lol /s ) and I'm convinced there's artificial astroturfing all over the place. Scratch that, not convinced, I fucking know, because I uploaded a game awhile back when I was more nooby that was a little platformer and I know all the tricks that can be used on steam to bump yourself into the charts.
They know the exploits exist, valve knows the exploits exist and the steam users know the exploits exists especially the leftists. The only people who don't realise it are the normies. You know it's funny because I wonder if this is the reason why Itch doesn't have any kind of rating system. Even though the site is obviously run by lefties I have to give them props for that and really their setup for uploading games overall is a lot better than steam's frankly antiquated and silly back end too. Literally just a one click affair which is why I prefer it, you can even change prices and do sales without having to ask permission so this means easier to adjust things for an early access title if you want and they don't rip you off on upload fees not to mention the lack of DRM.
Would not be shocked if even Valve end up wokifying because of the kind of crap they've been posting up. Even when it came to their steam awards a lot of people were absolutely baffled by it. I don't even think that free to play games for example should be allowed on the top sellers list.
Edit: I would not be shocked if sweet baby inc to one degree or another is consulting with Valve properly as well and is negotiating astroturfing of specific titles to further the agenda which is how these nothing titles get up to the top sellers lists in a lot of cases despite the fact you really don't see a lot of people playing it. Which is why they're so butthurt about this curator group informing people of their involvement with said titles.
I predict that they are going to keep consulting on games but they will not have the name attached.
I see "Square Enix" is on their list of clients. Somehow not surprised.
I vaguely remember years ago there was a studio that had such a bad rapport with the gaming community that they changed names. When the community called them out on it, they changed names again.
I forget the original name of the studio however; so I guess their tactic worked in that respect.
That was from Forspoken. The game was received poorly, and sold poorly, and cost a hell of a lot to make.
Hopefully squeenix learned their lesson.
Squee, nix on the learning
Mass reporting campaigns work two ways. It would be a damn shame if Kris Kindred twitter account was mass flagged into oblivious.
--edit-- The comments to his tweet calling for mass reporting is getting mass reported in and of itself. Commenters are not having it. Read for yourself: https://nitter.poast.org/itskindred/status/1763281691655692787
Glorious schadenfreude.
Edit: tweet no longer found.
The faggot protected his tweets.
Every.
Single.
Time.
Damn. Anyone have any sort of archive?
Someone archived it: https://archive.is/BxLsP
You can still see the replies if you go to it on Twitter itself.
Thanks. Just in case anyone doesn't want to go through the trouble-

Hahahahah he deleted the post hahahahahaha he also privated his profile. Run and hide, faggot. Be afraid.
Doesn't surprise me in the least. Gundam called them the successful feminist frequency and now we see them embracing that label even more by canceling critics
So, you can't point out that certain games have certain things in them, or you'll get people attached to that company mad at you?
Why would simply showing others that a company worked on a game be a bad thing, unless you don't want people to know. :)
It's like libsofticktock but games
Leftists want to virtue signal, but only inside their bubbles. Once it gets out into the wild and they get any pushback at all (because they're batshit insane) they cry about it.
Made even more retarded by the fact SB shows these games on their own website, to brag. I'm pretty sure most of the list this curator set up was made just by checking SB's own website.
This is crazy. They're not just anti freedom of speech, they're anti freedom of choice.
they're anti-freedom
