An Employee of Sweet Baby Inc Targets a Steam Curation Group With Cancel Culture - Techopse - Trading Enthusiasm for Anger
A single individual has taken it upon themselves to inform unaware customers that their games were curated and developed with the involvement of the socially conscious ESG consulting firm, Sweet Baby Inc. Now, employees of the company have become aware and...
Not only is this retarded employee targeting the group. They're also targeting the steam user that runs the group by trying to get their 13 year old account banned. An account, by the looks of it, put a lot of money into. If Valve goes along with this then I will no longer purchase anymore Steam games. Banning a curator group is one thing, but banning entire accounts and their purchases is a huge worry.
Its unlikely thst either will be banned. The faggots twatter account, however, thst might considering how many people are reporting for harassing the group and steam user.
This is why I simply do not trust steam as a platform anymore, this kind of gamifying is all over the place, I wasn't even aware this group existed until you guys pointed it out. You have honest groups like this simply pointing out what these fuckers are up to ( Which I'm sure sweet baby inc won't claim is harassment or anything lol /s ) and I'm convinced there's artificial astroturfing all over the place. Scratch that, not convinced, I fucking know, because I uploaded a game awhile back when I was more nooby that was a little platformer and I know all the tricks that can be used on steam to bump yourself into the charts.
They know the exploits exist, valve knows the exploits exist and the steam users know the exploits exists especially the leftists. The only people who don't realise it are the normies. You know it's funny because I wonder if this is the reason why Itch doesn't have any kind of rating system. Even though the site is obviously run by lefties I have to give them props for that and really their setup for uploading games overall is a lot better than steam's frankly antiquated and silly back end too. Literally just a one click affair which is why I prefer it, you can even change prices and do sales without having to ask permission so this means easier to adjust things for an early access title if you want and they don't rip you off on upload fees not to mention the lack of DRM.
Would not be shocked if even Valve end up wokifying because of the kind of crap they've been posting up. Even when it came to their steam awards a lot of people were absolutely baffled by it. I don't even think that free to play games for example should be allowed on the top sellers list.
Edit: I would not be shocked if sweet baby inc to one degree or another is consulting with Valve properly as well and is negotiating astroturfing of specific titles to further the agenda which is how these nothing titles get up to the top sellers lists in a lot of cases despite the fact you really don't see a lot of people playing it. Which is why they're so butthurt about this curator group informing people of their involvement with said titles.
