And they never think to apply that to their own media. Interesting.
Except it's not, because not only did this probably not happen, but even if it did they're incapable of intellectual honesty and integrity. Friend/foe is all they understand, and the right needs to wake up to that and start doing the same right back.
Friend/foe is everything to them. When people parrot that “what happened to the anti-war left?” argument, I always say there never was one. There was an anti George Bush left.
As soon as Obama was in office drone striking hospitals they stopped caring.
Correct. I recall all my liberal buddies saying stuff like "Dissent is patriotism," "Bush is a traitor," etc. during the Bush years. But if you noticed the democrats who criticized Bush over the war always voted for it. The only senator who was anti-war form the start was Paul Wellstone, and he mysteriously died.
Then Obama wins, the script flips, and everyone shuts up about war. Barry was doing the same shit as Bush, still in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, still sending money hand over fist to globalists. I point it out and now I'm the traitor. Dissent is suddenly no longer patriotism, it's a crime.
Same deal with the "children in cages".
Built by Obama. /I sleep
Kept by Trump. /"REEEEEEEEEEEE"
Maintained by Biden. /I sleep
That's because it requires a lack of capacity for introspection, to be a leftist.
Every single aspect of their beliefs is a hypocrisy of some kind, so they cannot earnestly be held by anyone actually capable of thinking about them. It would be hilarious if they hadn't killed more than a hundred million innocent people in the last century.
I ask leftists, if it turned out the facts were wrong about, say, recycling, would you change your position? They never answer.
they literally think Fox News is the entire Right. the idea of citizen journalists or investigating shit for yourself doesn't even compute for them.
combine that with the fact that all of their various news ""sources"" pull from the same script, as we saw with GamerGate, and it's easy to see how they don't even know the hypocrisy of this statement.
Watching the original live-action LotR adaptation instead of the glorious Rings Of Power With Added ESG Score renditions? I'm afraid this poster is clearly a right-wing wing-nut.
They're just waiting for the extended edition where the dark Lord is also a woman.
And not just any woman, but Guyladriel?
I m no man!
And I'm no mace welding liche king on a dragon. Oh wait
In an alternate timeline, the self-aware SNL skit spoofing the end of that battle with Leslie Jones being the Witch King and screaming loudly and she whips around that giant flail would be worth a hearty chuckle. Alas, we are here instead.
The 2nd game also butchered Galadriel, with the way she speaks to her handmaiden. Just as bad as millennia hopping non-wraith Celebrimbor, and way worse than sexy Shelob.
I mean, it almost happened in the Shadow of War game. Only for Sauron to bitch slap both her and her Bright Lord shade back to the ground where they belonged after they spent the entire game getting too big for their britches.
It was an awesome moment when a elf king challenges the devil to a sword fight in actual Tolkien lore.
Tolkien lore is filled with enough awesome moments to fill any series for a lifetime.
Heck, even the Shadow of Morder series showed that you just need to actually use the setting and then you can make up pretty awesome moments that don't fit in lore, but people still enjoy.
They've been docked 200 social credit points.
No, the Palantir is like social media (and in Middle Earth, IS social media). It exposes you to some of the worst excesses of evil, fills the heads of the gullible and impressionable with awful ideas that convince them they're inadequate, the world sucks and it's all everyone else's fault, that more power should be given to a central authority, and makes them dress in gaudy rainbow colors.
Well at least it's not Harry Potter this time I guess...
The exact opposite is true. I don't and have never watched Fox News.
It's listening to morons like this themselves that made me hate them.
Think MSNBC or CNN too… So brave and edgy…
Are they wrong? Media keeps everyone in the accepted range of opinions so that real options that actually threaten the system remain in isolation.
Double standards obviously, but the message is still right.
The message is that the media doesnt do that, only Fox News does it. Its propaganda. It wouldnt be effective if there wasnt a nugget of truth to it. But its still brainwashing
At least they read another book and it's not a Harry potter reference
Apparently they've heard about the Wheel of Time as well. Only heard of it mind you.
Well they are only half way there. Palantir is actually owned by Peter Thiel and is a supposedly rightwing spook organization.
So who's sauron that also made the orcs? QUI??
I'll pretend you aren't joking. Sauron was the last great general of Morgoth who was literally Satan made flesh. Morgoth made the orcs and all evil things by taking what the others had made and twisting them into his own purposes.
Yeah, honestly the simile is pretty accurate. Fox News does turn boomers into paranoid, misinformed lunatics. But so do CNN, MSNBC, etc. And they do it much, much worse, because we're deep into clown world where Fox is counterculture. The rest are all establishment.
Its because they genuinely believe their old "reality has a liberal bias" phrase.
Its not a slant for the entire rest of the media to be in lockstep, they are just reporting "reality." Fox is the odd man out because they are reporting "distortions of reality or lies."
Like, that's the heart of all their worldviews. They truly believe their vision of the world is the unfiltered truth, and anything that isn't congruent with that is someone trying to trick them.
