Except it's not, because not only did this probably not happen, but even if it did they're incapable of intellectual honesty and integrity. Friend/foe is all they understand, and the right needs to wake up to that and start doing the same right back.
Friend/foe is everything to them. When people parrot that “what happened to the anti-war left?” argument, I always say there never was one. There was an anti George Bush left.

Correct. I recall all my liberal buddies saying stuff like "Dissent is patriotism," "Bush is a traitor," etc. during the Bush years. But if you noticed the democrats who criticized Bush over the war always voted for it. The only senator who was anti-war form the start was Paul Wellstone, and he mysteriously died.
Then Obama wins, the script flips, and everyone shuts up about war. Barry was doing the same shit as Bush, still in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, still sending money hand over fist to globalists. I point it out and now I'm the traitor. Dissent is suddenly no longer patriotism, it's a crime.
Same deal with the "children in cages".

That's because it requires a lack of capacity for introspection, to be a leftist.
Every single aspect of their beliefs is a hypocrisy of some kind, so they cannot earnestly be held by anyone actually capable of thinking about them. It would be hilarious if they hadn't killed more than a hundred million innocent people in the last century.
I ask leftists, if it turned out the facts were wrong about, say, recycling, would you change your position? They never answer.

combine that with the fact that all of their various news ""sources"" pull from the same script, as we saw with GamerGate, and it's easy to see how they don't even know the hypocrisy of this statement.
