I'm guessing you or most people don't care, but by the end of the DLC for the first game, your main police ally turns evil and you have to take her down, so I'm guessing that "positive relationship with police" is totally gone for the Spiderman 2.
This isn’t even Spider-Man 2, it’s the Miles Morales game that already came out years ago.
Edit: Unless they put it in Spider-Man 2 as well, which upon further reflection, they probably did.

Close, Pete gets taken over by the Symbiote and you have to fight him as Miles to free him. Peter then retires as Spider-Man (even though he's barely been Spider-Man for a decade) and Miles swings off with a post game tag that Doc Ock will be back with Norman next game. Fuck this shit.
I have no idea what the hell Marvel was thinking turning Spider-Man into some weird multi-universe thing with a billion characters with the name. If I had to guess, I would think they were trying to do something along the lines with Batman where there have been a number of different versions over the years.
Peter Parker is the only Spider-Man, and when I was reading the comics he had only ever worn one costume except for a brief stint with the symbiote- which at least had a story and purpose behind it.
I absolutely refuse to touch any media that has Hoodie Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy Spider-Man, or black Spider-Man or any of the other millions of Spider-Men in it.

From an objective point of view, it’s a god awful painting. The eyes are mostly white making them look completely crazy. The green tank top’s hair looked like a raven when I first saw it, taking away front he rest of the painting. The lack of an outline on the nose ring’s head makes it look unfinished. Also, their teeth peeking out makes them have an incredible underbite.
