Yep, random memes on the internet is "unsubstantiated propaganda", but having LGBT books in schools, having pride months then pride week then pride days, or basically forcing companies to adopt ESG policies, that's not propaganda at all, that's just "Progress".
I remember I got attacked in one forum for simply questioning the massive lgbt over representation and said wouldn’t you rather have a streaming service dedicated to your niche audience?
I mean, they already have Netflix. BOOM.
Last week:
“The CDC says the vaccine is safe for pregnant people.”
These same people who are clearly brainwashed and clearly lying want us to think they can test a medication properly?
Their meta analysis is facts!
Theirs is the enlightened way after all. they cannot suffer the barbarious heresies of the unenlightened.
False, not enough screaming from the left-winger on how he's 'an evil hetromormative white man that is a neanderthal stuck in the past dragging women down'
Plus why would I listen to those 'studies'? If I believed everything they said, I'd have let my kids get their genitals mutilated and allow myself to reduce my lifespan injecting myself with an unproven 'vaccine'
This is what they think they're doing, not what they actually are.
Got those rose tinted glasses bolted to their face huh?
The left are more delusional than people who believe the FBI only catch criminals.
It's a specialized AR rose tinted glasses that gets updates so you properly see what they want.
Trust the science.
Here are some crime stats.
No, not like that.
"Trust the science" translated from Sloganeering to English means "Trust what the TV said about the science."
It means “obey our orders.”
“punish anyone who resists”
“Shut up and put this in your body”
Lol nowadays they just start screaming that you must have seen that on a podcast as if that would make it invalid but it's really stupid to say it to me when I have a degree in the subject.
There's no bigger tell for lying than falling back to a "meta-analysis" to prove your point. You know what happens in a "meta-analysis" when some of the studies don't line up with your agenda? File 13.
I love to pick cherries in the spring.
A meta study is like averaging Aristotelian gravity and Newtonian gravity and expecting the result to be more accurate than Newtonian gravity.
Then throwing out all studies that disagree because OBVIOUSLY they must be flawed
From experience, they're usually a lot more like the right panel with some added "ism" thrown in and catch phrases ("touch grass"). You'll write a Bible worth of solid arguments destroying their ideas only to be met with a one liner come back that makes no sense... and then the mod swipes in and delete your post for wrong think
There are so many implications here.
Forget the fact that memes are not meant for information most of the time, but are shitposts in pic format. I'm sure I'm too much of a luddite to catch them all, but let's just go ahead and over examine this like the leftist in there, shall we?
If we believe the ponytailed side:
News articles are not good enough a source to cite.
That the woman is correct, and has to explain it to the man.
That a difference of opinion turns into a debate when a leftist tells you that your funny picture is wrong.
I don't recognize the can, but it's implied that it's some sort of beer or energy drink, compared to what typically goes into a mug, tea or coffee. So we have some mild drink elitism, too.
That when backed into a corner, over a meme, a leftists will go to a group think website that has been wrong about dozens of things in the last few years for 'factual information', such as being on time is white supremacy, and that the covid vaccine is safe as pointed out by MagnumRabbits in the replies already.
That meme warfare actually fucking works. Sweet baby Jesus, they really do seethe over anything, and then wonder why people call them snowflakes.
Now tell me about the bell curve and racial IQ.
That's where you're wrong, kiddo. They don't "think". They just repeat.
This would hit a lot harder if they didn't themselves ignore "meta-analysis of dozens of studies clearly contradicting [their] main point" and "giant piles of verifiable, objective facts" when it suits them. Or if they actually read the studies they claimed to love, instead of getting The Science fed to them via the media lens.
That's the annoying thing about libs; they're so self-righteous, and think they're better than everyone else, especially the Evil Far Right (which is everyone except their chosen few.)
I'm at least realistic enough to see that both sides are at times guilty of this. I don't think the left or the right are totally 100% "pro-science" or "pro-fact." I'd argue the right is, on the whole, much more pro-reality, however. But yeah, they're ideologies, they're going to be ideologically protective, sometimes in ways that aren't completely honest. Leave it to a lib to think they have everything on their side, against the evil and stupid right.
Also, leftoids can keep science out of their damn mouths, considering they get consistently trounced by "conspiracy theorists," "science deniers," "climate deniers," and such. If leftoids were honest and introspective, Covid would have been a massive fucking embarrassment for them and their claims to be on the side of science.
The Cochrane meta-analysis comes to mind. Everybody trusts the experts until the experts disagree, then they're "fringe".
Like you can repeat any of these tests.
It goes more like this - tranny gets boiled alive by the initial post and feels the need to throw himself at it in what basically amounts to an emotional tantrum. It is offensive, so it must be wrong!
Next he carefully google searches everything that specifically agrees with him and in a dopamine fueled fucking manifesto, posts his response pensively HOPING that you don't reply with something he knows that he probably overlooked and call him out on his surface level placations.
Likewise, most of these "things" actually end up being vindicated as absolutely true - but the tranny has then moved along to other things; completely blind to the steady accumulation of shit he's actually been wrong about.
Understand that the possibility of you being right about anything gives them a mini-panic attack so never relent and zero in on humiliating them when they are even slightly off the mark.
Oh and make the room on the left really fucking dirty too.
I find it interesting that they're obviously biting the style of XKCD, up to and including the font, because the guy that wrote that comic constantly posted smart-sounding sciencey stuff and they think copying him will boost their credibility.
That's a good point.
You don't believe what my priest said about covid?? Typical incel manbaby conspiracy theorist
his mistake was linking any sort of news article. The only chance you have is to go directly to the source, sometime demonstrating and doing the math if applicable.
For instance, in an EV conversation I had, I pulled numbers directly from the EPA's website on how much batteries weigh, how much energy they store, and the comparisons to a 10 gallon tank of gas. Long story short: EVS are nearly twice as heavy as gas cars with less than half the energy storage capacity. with this, I was able to convince some drones that hybrids are a much better direction than full electric vehicles. (fun fact: in terms of pure energy efficiency electric motors are more than twice as efficient than gas engines, the problem is that they're pulling twice the weight with less than half the energy storage capacity)
The moment you link and article from some kind of unapproved source (in their eyes), they instantly disregard your opinion and counter with articles from their """approved""" sources. They literally do not think themselves smart enough to analyze any kind of data, so they use appeal to authority. If you can show them the data, walk them through it, in simultaneously teach them that they can analyze data and think for themselves, you can break the conditioning.
this only works on a small percentage of people since the NPC programming is very strong, but it does work occasionally.
So true. I recently had some guy tell me that decisions should be made by "people smarter than us", to which I countered "if they're smarter than us, they should be able to explain it to us so we can decide".
Ironically, he was protesting parental rights in schools. So, if the schools are doing such a great job because they're "smarter" than parents, why aren't we (the graduates of these programs) smart enough to understand anything?
Literally, what is the point of mass education, which these people seem to favour, if only a handful will ever be "experts"?
The leftist insists on academic sources but will die long before addressing simple logical issues a 5 year old could point out
Most of the lefts studies are just laundered opinions through recursive citations.
We all know how stupid the left is. In fact it's hilarious how they advertise it. This meme itself is a good example of leftist hypocrisy and ignorance. We could send this out as a right-wing meme with no changes needed.
It just seems so bizarre that it could be this insane. I've tried warning Floridians, but they've never had riots destroy their city for political gains.
Delicious delicious cheese.
What a coincidence, lactose intolerance is also white supremacy.
But so is drinking milk.
Just more proof that everything is, in fact, Hwite Supremacy.
If every aspect of human society and the natural world illustrates or reinforces expressions of the pan-European genome, then perhaps the superiority of that particular combination of traits is, in Homo Sapiens Sapiens, evolutionarily advantageous.
What I was about to say. Heavily biased fact checkers
They will insist the sky is polka dot and then call you racist for looking up to check
