It's not about "sustainable" and it's certainly not about the environment.

It's about degrading regular people.

It’s also about intentionally making people unhealthy so they are dependent on the snake oil “cures”. Some examples:

  • Widespread use of seed and vegetable oils which are pro-inflammatory while gaslighting people into thinking animal/saturated fats are bad.
  • Added sugars are also a huge problem and contributes to diabetes. I notice most doctors just put patients on metformin and not tell them that diabetes is reversible with proper dieting.
  • The push for drug dependency disguised as “evidence based medicine” like SSRIs on depressed patients or the Covid vaccine + boosters.
  • The campaign against fitness with the “body positivity” movement and trying to associate fitness with the far right (MSNBC).
  • The obsession over climate change over pollution, particularly pollution of endocrine disrupters.

I'm actually okay with my enemies committing suicide. I just wish they'd pick a faster method than lounging about and eating unhealthily.

It’s not meant to be funny

I’m perfectly fine with my enemies sterilizing their children and themselves with trans ideology, for example

Trans people don't have children. They try to sterilize your children.

A tautology. If you don't want your enemies to be utterly defeated, they're not your enemies.

Honestly, if people really cared about the environment and animal well-being and food safety, they would get their meat from local farmers instead of relying on massive companies.

I'm not even joking, I would pay top dollar for artisanal computer chips just to meet the guy making them.

This is the best DIY thing I've seen. If he's still working on this, he could potentially make something like a 6502, which is ~3500 transistors and well documented.

But I don't think we're going to be 3D printing chips at home any time soon.

But, like, it's expensive, brah! Like, this fucking redneck with a TRUMP STICKER on his big truck wants five bucks a pound, dude! If he drove a Prius, he could charge less money, not having to pay for all the fuel!

If we were sensible, we'd probably find ways to make places like European and American cities look like a modern version of hanging gardens of Babylon than the grey lifeless buildings we see nowadays.

Being close to nature tends to keep you from going full retard and thinking bugs are the best thing to eat.

Is London THAT green as yes it has a lot of parks and trees but I think the ratio of nature to overcrowded with assholes negates the benefits of nature.

Plus heard from friends it's filthy as fuck in that city, like no one uses a trash can anymore there

I think he means that nothing will stop a Londoner going full retard, no matter how much greenery you expose them too.

Being close to nature

Maybe. Personally I think it's more the producer vs. consumer mindset, and people in the cities are more likely to be 100% consumer with no awareness of the production chain. (perhaps being close to nature is a part of that)

It's part of it, being close to production is one part but just that means you can have people living next to the industrial sector and that doesn't lead to a healthy mindset.

You need access to a non mechanised/urban environment regularly so you remember the difference between what we create and what we sustain through effort and patience.

Its like most "environmental activism."

If it was slowly rolled into the zeitgeist as an addon and filler for gaps in our current system, and then expanded as per need or if its found to work better in certain areas outright place, then literally no one would have an issue with it and most would support the idea. In this case, I'm sure plenty places could benefit from an additional food source that isn't being tapped.

But they don't care about any of that. There is no altruism and environmental idea being pushed, those are just the justifications. Its just to take away things you like and replace them instead with humiliation rituals. Its cuckold porn on a societal scale.

This is an important point that I feel is too often overlooked.

No one in their right mind is going to argue that pollution is good or even neutral. I grew up next to a steel mill -- I know very well what those emissions do to a neighborhood. I very much appreciate the gains we made in efficiency over the past half century. I would applaud further gains to maybe someday reduce pollution to negligible levels.

But you can't just snap your fingers and declare it to be so. If the technology isn't ready, you just end up hamstringing yourself to no benefit, because your competitors (China) will just steal all your profit and pollute all that pollution for you.

These things take time.

In any case, I would take environmentalists much more seriously if they gave a shit about the massive amounts of waste that are built into the system for consumers' comfort.

Instead of virtue signaling by giving me a worthless paper straw, why not encourage restaurants to cut down on the hundreds of pounds of food waste they generate every day. And that is just one example out of a thousand.

We could actually make some progress towards climate cultists' goals if they would ever inconvenience themselves for the greater good. But they won't. And they will turn a blind eye to all the rich fucks scooting off on private jets to pontificate about how climate change is the impending apocalypse.

And that is why I discount literally every word they utter... because they are lazy, short-sighted hypocrites who demand instant gratification, even if it is superficial virtue signaling.

There's an important bit of dishonesty not noted about the CO2 emissions report, where they talked of total agricultural CO2 for cows, which includes transportation, processing, power usage, etc. Then focused solely on respiratory efficiency benefits for the insects, like the CO2 breathed out over the lifetime of the a cow isn't a small fraction of the total CO2 and a more efficient animal isn't going to slash total agricultural emissions in half, not even close

Hell, in isolation technically a cow grazing and breathing in a field is a slight net carbon capture for the farm, since all the carbon used in the cows lifetime is from carbon captured by the grass grown by the farmer, and some of that carbon remains captured in the cow's body. In every other industry they accept buying bullshit carbon capture offset credits as a valid excuse, but not when you actually do it yourself apparently.

No culture/race eats insects as their main diets or main source of protein... seldomly eaten or at best its a street snack. But you are never ever going to have a family bust out dish of maggots for dinner. Never. People will rather starve. Hell, most wont eat things like rats, let alone a cockroach.

great video! detailed, frank, and avoids opinion shaping tactics like music or comedy. I wish more informative videos were filmed in this style.

Also just because you pulverized 100% of the insects doesn't mean it's 100% digestible proteins, most of it are just exoskeleton chitin, meanwhile a healthy chicken can produce one or two eggs everyday, that are 100% digestible , already in ideal fat/protein/carb ratio (for keto diet) without any further factory processing straight out of the chickens poop hole.

It's obviously not better, as most civilizations avoided using bugs for mass proteins consumption. The most compromise a civilization can have is eating proteins rich cash crops like Wheat, Rye, and Barley; while also continuing to eat beef and fish.

The only way I'm eating bugs for protein is if they start using mRNA concoctions on cows because that shit gets in the milk and meat.

Eat a hamburger a couple years from now and you might grow hooves.

If eating bugs was worthwhile in any way, there would be traditional bug-based delicacies somewhere on Earth. Even Chinese people, who will eat absolutely any animal that walks, swims, or flies, don't have any bug dishes on the menu.
