I'm not even joking, I would pay top dollar for artisanal computer chips just to meet the guy making them.

This is the best DIY thing I've seen. If he's still working on this, he could potentially make something like a 6502, which is ~3500 transistors and well documented.

But I don't think we're going to be 3D printing chips at home any time soon.
