fighting a nearly three-decade federal discrimination lawsuit that found a certification exam was biased.
How does the US even continue to exist with such nonsense going on? You'd expect a country that is so insane that it would spend three decades on destroying standards for teachers to have collapsed a long time ago.
The man couldn’t even string together a coherent thought and looks like a paint huffer. You can tell even the interviewer either stopped paying attention or couldn’t even understand him as the replies were all “yeah, mhm”. Then again I’m sure every crack dealer, liquor store, and paint supplier in the area is currently celebrating.
The article also links to a Joy Reid vid, who also has background chirps. I'm surprised they didn't just rip the smoke detectors off the ceiling. It seems to be the go-to solution for idiots.
Parenthetically, smoke detectors last for about 10 years. If you've lived in your current house for about that long, it's time to change them out.
You'd be surprised. A lot of them own it because grandpappy bought it with actual hard work and they've just existed like a clan of hoodlums in it ever since. With it being paid off 40 years ago, but their very existence having dragged property values to trash, they can't really do anything but live there forever.
I've been through a lot of ghettos. No landlord would even bother trying to own a property in most of them for his own safety. Unless the Chinese government has already gotten most of them and is completely disconnected from the safety issue of owning it.
You're overestimating them. The chirp just isn't long enough of frequent enough to elicit a response to their nervous system. This is why dummies often talk loudly or listen to loud music or abuse drugs or fight - they just need more signal input to get anything to happen inside their brain.
Plus fixing it would require planning - buy batteries, get a ladder, etc. Then fine motor skills to take apart the smoke detector. This is why dummies have broken shit on their cars or expired licenses and whatnot, there's not enough signal to stick in their brain, and if it does they start trying to plan to fix it, become overwhelmed then give up.
Don't get me wrong, there are pathological cases where people just want to be waited on, but a lot of times "you need to do X for me" is a hurt ego cover up for "I can't"
I wonder if there's a connection between black people not responding to smoke detector chirps and the way sassy fat black women will loudly bellow the same thing 8-10+ times in an argument.
Check out the poll exams that were used 150 years ago to keep niggers from voting. Questions like "place a circle above the third vowel in this sentence."
There was nothing about the test, the court just said that because blacks/hispanics failed more often, the test must be racist. Courts in blue states are full of Marxist scum.
Communication Skills: After reading the passage, choose, from among the five given, the best answer to the question.
"Social and scientific revolutions must be sharply distinguished. Social revolutions are restricted to a particular time and place; they last for a while and then pass into history. Scientific revolutions, on the other hand, belong to all places and all times."
The primary purpose of the statement is to:
(A) argue that advances made in science cannot be undone or forgotten
(B) identify several important aspects of scientific and social revolutions
(C) discuss the social consequences of scientific revolutions
(D) point out a fundamental difference between social revolutions and scientific revolutions
(E) suggest that the importance of social revolutions is frequently overestimated
Usage: The portion of the following sentence printed in bold presents a problem in the appropriate use of language. Choose from the following ways of rewriting the bold portion, the best--clearest, most exact--expression, without changing the meaning of the original:
"Conservationists want to preserve stretches of 'wild' rivers, those whose banks are still unobstructed by buildings and uncontaminated by wastes in their waters."
(A)uncontaminated by wastes in their waters
(B)whose waters are uncontaminated by wastes
(C)whose waters are without wastes contaminating them
(D)by wastes contaminating their waters
(E)wastes contaminating their waters
Mathematics: 2/3 is between the numbers given in each of the following pairs EXCEPT
(A) 0 and 1
(B) 1/2 and 3/4
(C) 2 and 3
(D) .6 and .7
(E) .5 and .8
Science: The finding of fossils of marine animals in the upper reaches of a mountain would indicate that the mountain was
(A) formed by volcanic action
(B) undergoing severe erosion
(C) undergoing very little erosion
(D) located in an area of extensive fauna
(E) formed by an uplift of the Earth's crust
Social Studies: During a recession in the United States, unemployment is likely to be highest among which of the following groups?
I could make an argument for A, B, D and E. I was able to get the correct answer, but only by test taking experience and assuming that the test was likely written by a midwit.
On the other hand almost all uses of scientific "revolution" have little reason to be called that and would be better served by saying evolution or advancement.
About the only true revolution in western science was the divorcing of natural sciences from needing to agree with Catholic orthodoxy or ancient pedagogy during the Renaissance/enlightenment. That's the only time the once ultimate authority over science was usurped and replaced with a fundamentally different approach to science. Everything else, even the momentous discoveries, just resulted in the authorities and institutions at the reigns of science adapting their own views to match, rather than being replaced by another group.
I'd say the answer requires context. A, D or E could all be correct depending on whether the speaker's focus is on scientific revolutions (as opposed to social revolutions), social revolutions (as opposed to scientific revolutions) or if they aren't focusing on either.

Because these are all localized to hyper blue shitholes, at least for now
Subsidized by placid red cash cows. That milk of human suffering is starting to run less rich and more watery these days though.
50 years ago we were able to put men on the moon. It takes a long, long time to decay from heights like that.
I hate the argument that tests are biased
It won't, and that's the plan.

What the actual fuck - they could start a space program in Mozambique for that kind of dough

These niggers don't own houses. They have landlords that they expect to do ever single bit of "maintenance" for them.
/real men own and maintain a home
You'd be surprised. A lot of them own it because grandpappy bought it with actual hard work and they've just existed like a clan of hoodlums in it ever since. This is so insane to me. My smoke alarm starts chirping at ANY TIME and my world stops until I fix it lol
I fucking hate how hard it is to figure out which one. Someboday said oh your house must be big but it's really not. There are like 4. Still hard.
I wonder if there's a connection between black people not responding to smoke detector chirps and the way sassy fat black women will loudly bellow the same thing 8-10+ times in an argument.
But I don't want to move!
Damn I need some of that black privilege cause I'm poor as shit
When the register rings, a trans-nigger gets xer blings.
The ''logical'' conclusion when you cannot accept that intelligence is not evenly distributed across races :
any disparity to the disadvantage of non-Whites has to be blamed on ''systemic racism'', an ''injustice'' to be compensated at the expense of Whites.
probably wouldve end up sleeping with the students anyways..

My city is racist by requiring shoes and a short to enter a store or a bar.
It keeps out roughly half of a certain demographic.

Classic Post hoc ergo proctor hoc.
I love the classical logical fallacies!
Disparate impact is a cancer on US law.
Heck, the Civil Rights Act in general tbh
I saw a supposed sample question that had four sets of numbers and asked which set the fraction 2/3 was not between. Elementary school math.
Answer: "But apples don't cost ¢50."
Here's some example questions I found:
