Reports are he was denied asylum in France 10+ years ago, so he went on to Sweden and got asylum there. Apparently has multiple convictions for benefits fraud in Sweden, and possibly a Swedish passport at this point
The worst part are the bystanders. I get that the guy with a knife is scary, but no one threw rocks, no one attempted to trip him, no one ganged up and surrounded him. That lady that was just jogging by, apparently affected by the "not my problem invisibility shield."
