That’s what BIPOC is: everyone except whites. It’s a blatant circumvention of anti-discrimination laws, and there’s no way it would hold up in a legitimate court.
look. you can get a job any time you want. all you have to do is cut your dick off first.
I love the term BIPOC - because the I gives some protection to indigenous Europeans in their home countries (where they are also being genocided)
It excludes asians as well.
South East Asians, if you are a poo you don't have this issue.
I watched a boss throw out the resumes of every white male one time, not because he personally was biased but because his last hire was a white male so he didn't want the feds or HR giving him a hard time.
The funniest thing is - whites have NEVER been privileged in the US. My friend was working on Wall Street in the 90s. There was always a cap on his career as he wasn’t Jewish.
Glad I list myself as Hispanic. Thank you confusing German Argentine heritage!
I'm a 'Native American' whenever they ask for race.
I was born in America so as far as I'm concerned I am a fucking native american.
I bet I can do that as well. If they say I'm not, I'll insult them in Navajo.
Nobody will ever call you out on it, just make sure they can't double check it against other social media.
They are all frightened of a lawsuit if they infer your skin is too light.
And Argentina is full of weird white people
All race that I am aware of is self-identification, with the possible exception of membership in an American Indian tribe. AFAIK, simply claiming "native American" is a different thing -- something you can do freely. You may not misrepresent yourself as a member of a recognized tribe because that is a legal status.
And nobody is going to say anything, because if you look at legitimate Native American representatives, with paperwork, some of them are white AF.
Amazon recently rolled out “black owned businesses” feature.
Make sure you avoid supporting that racist shite at all costs
NEVER disclose your race to your employer. They can't force you, as it is a violation of employment law.
They will try to use other means to determine your race, including code-checking (how you talk), and your name and interests. But, at the very least, don't make it easier for them.
Internet bonus points if you rename yourself Llamar on all of your legal documents though...
If you refuse to identify they assume you’re white and discard anyway.
Heads I win; Tails you lose.
The point isn't to win, it's to drive the cost of winning up.
Still costs you nothing to decline to state.
Why not disclose a wrong race?
Because the department still considers it "buy in" to the racket. Their words. You're choosing to voluntarily participate in the system, therefore they need more funding to support you, also you still get counted in their statistics. They might even be able to punish you for lying if you identify as a different race in other ways, or on other legal documents.
You you don't identify your race, they can't actually use you in their statistics, or rationalize compensation decisions against/for you. And again, if it looks like people aren't participating, it means that their departments shouldn't be funded.
What if you identify as racefluid?
Fired for racism. They won't accept Trans-Black yet.
Why black? Occasionally I feel quite Jewish.
Ah, but they can motte & bailey judaism. You got to learn a bit of hebrew and publicly convert.
Lying could only be based on your past. I don't think there are legal definitions that they can use. or even practical ones.
duplicate post
You know they can see you, right?
Sure, but bureaucrats commodify people as numbers on spreadsheets. Specifically your employee ID number. They're normally too worthless to do the extra work unless you piss them off. And if you piss them off, you have to make them prove your race; and that's the best part.
They're just dropping the mask. The reality is that this has been the policy of the corporate world for over a decade.
Whites got too close to turning against the banksters in 2012, so whites need to be turned into minimum wage bottom feeders living hand to mouth, too busy trying to survive to think about protesting against their owners.
The 2040s anti white genocide is on trajectory to eclipse Hitler’s 1940s genocide
You really think they're going to be able to keep the wheels on this train another 17 years?
Identify as "Hispanic, Latino/a or Latinx".
You can also "Identify as having a disability or impairment" (yes that is an actual option) 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Pollute the data till it becomes useless.
On the one hand, anyone who would use this tool is not an employer you'd want to associate with. On the other hand, this is blatant overt systemic (in that they've created a system to do it) discrimination.
Scott Adams is fucking retarded, it'll be used to filter out males in general. Race quotas are outdated, it's all about getting that sweet UN SDG cash for 50%+ women.
Adams was the first remotely "mainstream" figure to even bring up the Woman Question over 10 years ago.
He wrote that blog post where he said "you don't get angry with a child who acts out, you don't punch retards, and you don't argue with women".
This is literally every service. Every employer. The government. The media. All technology companies. They are supported by tax dollars and every bank. You cannot vote with your wallet or feet anymore.
Politics is violence. If the relationship was consensual, it'd be economics.
All services are enemy held at this point. What would you suggest instead? Fucking off to the woods and asking the local woodland critters about their benefits and 401k plans?
Unfortunately, for a lot of industries, LinkedIn is basically a requirement.
Program Manager, can confirm you will never get a job in the Project Management industry worth a fuck without it.
Unless you have a better alternative then please shut the fuck up.
Yeah I don't understand why anybody would expose themself like that.
Get off social media, it will only be used as ammunition against you and you are literally SELLING YOURSELF FOR NOTHING.
It’s how you get jobs that don’t break your back, have air conditioning, and 401k plans.
There are much better options. I deleted my Linked In account years ago and have had no problem.
I have to admit I haven't got a job in a while, but last time I did it was still send them an application with your resume. LinkedIn has the advantage of people constantly coming to you. I have always done it the other way around.
Air conditioned actually.
