Get off social media, it will only be used as ammunition against you and you are literally SELLING YOURSELF FOR NOTHING.

There are much better options. I deleted my Linked In account years ago and have had no problem.

I have to admit I haven't got a job in a while, but last time I did it was still send them an application with your resume. LinkedIn has the advantage of people constantly coming to you. I have always done it the other way around.
