I would pay anyone demanding this type of bereavement leave double to stay gone. I would work night and day, making shady deals and shaking every dirty hand to secure for them their own private island and shower them in riches for them to stay gone.
Morale would improve, crime would plummet (filters out the useless shitheads), American production would improve, accomodating them to stay gone would then be a drop in the bucket - Lord knows they do not generally save money no matter how much you pump into them, so it circulates back quick.
Could you imagine maternity leave (paid, up to 24 months), menstrual leave (paid, 3-5 days per month), and "black bereavement leave" (paid, 1-5 days? per month)... As an employer, how could you get a black female employee to be even remotely productive? (I bet they wonder that already!)
Not even including paid sick days, regular holidays, and vacation LOL.
Actions speak louder than words. If you call someone "stunning and brave," but do not ask them to act as such and instead treat them like eternal children or human pets, it is pretty obvious what your true feelings are.
