I feel so ashamed by my own opinions some 15odd years ago where I argued with a friend(who was in childrens education) about adoption rights of gays, he was not for it and I was pretty neutral to open about it. My opinion shifted around 2016ish, I still remember these thoughts to this day and wish I could tell the friend(who I entirely lost contact with) my change of heart.

Granddad had a very rough time in his adopted home, but it was still a better situation than being a fatherless bastard in a city in the mid 1910's.
I was adopted (when I was a baby) by a wonderful couple in the suburbs. I've had a great life (raised in a Christian setting) and wouldn't change it for anything.
