Apparently continuing failed policies that led to the current problems is the only way to fix current problems…

They can't admit fault now. What would that even look like? "Whoopsie, turns out the transphobic nazi Russian trolls were right from the start, our policies did nothing to stop the disease, the vaccines are more deadly than the disease they fail to innoculate you against, and we created an entire generation of psychotic retards, tee hee"?

They could just shut the fuck up and slink back into the darkness hoping noone will hold them accountable, but all that attention is just so intoxicating...

Being wrong is fine, but being right is unforgivable, for the reasons you specify.

But this is quite something. I'd have expected them to quietly memoryhole the whole thing. If I were in their position, I'd try to cover my ass in a way like this:. "Look, we were in a situation where we thought there was an extremely lethal disease on the loose, and if masks weren't going to help, they would not hurt either. In hindsight, it's easy to come up with better solutions, but you have to make such decisions at the time and with the lives of the most vulnerable being at stake."

One can't expect leftists to de-escalate. Leftists are always agitators.

Being wrong isn't fine when talking about untested genetic alterations. Being wrong isn't fine when talking about stripping the populace of civil rights over a cold. Being wrong isn't fine when talking about destroying the national economy and ruining millions of lives.

Slow tap... I'm talking about the perspective of the rulers, not yours.

If you're wrong about something, you are no threat to them. If you're right (and they are wrong), you may be, and that is unforgivable.

Everything they've done so far, from the lock downs, to the masks or the "vaccines" are all done for more control. The stated goal was always bullshit, but they have to keep up the lie regardless of how obvious it always was.

Masking has become a political statement in the US. So yeah, some people are going to listen. They put a "In this house we believe" sign up, and they put a sign up on their face to show you that they are not heretics.

Yet if you ask any of them, including all the "normies" people keep saying are gonna wake up, its not political its just common sense to save grandma.

Masks are a red/blue signal that have even less to do with protection from viruses than they did 2 yeara ago.

Yup. A mask is just a team jersey now.

They were only ever to avoid getting blood in your mouth and spit on the patient. They don't do fuckall else.

“It would be great if Joe Biden kept wearing a mask, she says, but seeing neighbors wearing them is likely to have a bigger impact: “If people you know and trust wear a mask, then maybe you’ll think twice about not wearing one.”

Translation: the shepherd needs to get the sheep to baa. Because no one else “knows and trusts” Biden.

Nor does anyone want to wear your fucking masks. Why can I find info on a large flu outbreak in still very masked Japan if they work anyway?

Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?

It's believing the same retards that can't identify a woman, believe Muslims and gays can live together peacefully and that printing money means they can fund anything should dictate your medical decisions.

As of 2 December, the CDC reported a seven-day average of 4,201 Covid hospitalizations and 254 deaths. Meanwhile, the flu and RSV seasons have come unusually early, with flu hospitalizations at their highest in a decade. On 2 December, the agency reported 8.7m cases of the flu, including 78,000 hospitalizations and 4,500 deaths, this season. And we haven’t seen the worst yet, given that it’s been less than two weeks since Thanksgiving, with many more holiday gatherings to come, says John Swartzberg, clinical professor emeritus of infectious diseases and vaccinology at the University of California, Berkeley.

Do these retards even comprehend the stupid shit they're saying, or is it just "receive input from hive mind, beep boop, executing NPC.script.json"?

4200 cases out of over three hundred thirty one million people. 254 deaths. Siri, what is 254/331000000? 7.67 times ten to the negative seven? 0.000000767% of the US population died of coof in the last seven days?

Welp. Better shut down the world again.

I took the ACT test today. There were 50-70 students alone, not even counting admins. Not a single person, staff or student had a mask on.

Makes you think.
