Brooks, who is representing himself, has no coherent alibi or legal strategy despite his trial being 3 weeks in.
His opening statement, which he chose to do 3 weeks in after the prosecution had rested their case and before Brooks was to start calling his own witnesses, was incredibly short. It was essentially him saying that everyone had suffered , including his own family, then he started crying for a few minutes and then wrapped it up.
Brooks' main strategy, besides his sovereign citizen obfuscation nonsense, seems to be based in nitpicking superfluous details from State witnesses (What clothes exactly was I wearing?) and if they can't recall down to a Tee, in his mind, he's creating " reasonable doubt ".
What now? He is gonna claim that his clone did the killing. The trial is a massive waste of time
