Normally I’d feel sorry for them but seeing as how it’s Minneapolis they probably were on board with this at one point. Maybe this will open their eyes. Stop appeasing these people

This is the natural and logical evolution to the entire "theory" of privilege. The next step is outright forbidding whites from being hired in the first place. After all, every position that's filled by a white person is a position that could have gone to a pee-oh-see instead. And white people are so privileged that they can easily get another job without any effort anyway (even though we made it illegal for them to even get hired).

This is de facto the case for normal white men in significantly sized organization and has been for at least 3 decades. Only nepotism and cronyism gets white men hired and promoted, never open hiring.

And only white men can ever get fired for cause. Everyone else can only get shuffled around or maybe "laid off" in a firing wave that also includes white men.

Or, as a small target, you just hire the best man for the job, taking advantage of the fact that that guy got rejected by the pozzed companies of the world.

Every decent software product in the world is held up by 6 guys anyways (if not 1..). You can have a lot of adjacent people and possibly even make use of. Point being, you don't need a lot if you can find a few.

The story is old, and I'm not sure why the source article only came out 2 days ago. The Star Tribune article ultimately sourced by Alpha News came out in early June.
Try searching the sub for 'Minneapolis strike.'

Oh yay. Another factor causing the teacher shortage that everyone refuses to talk about. They'll never be able to get enough minority teachers to fill all the slots because in their quest to increase the standards for a teaching license they've increased the IQ requirements to pass the tests so much that there simply aren't enough minority teachers that can pass them.

Imagine that you have identified a massive achievement gap in education between white students and black students, and then you a adopted a policy ensuring that those black students will be taught by black teachers. Because redistributing those teacher salaries is more important than distributing white teachers’ competence and knowledge.

We'll see just as many laws and programs about that as we see for increasing male enrollment in college. It's only been 3 decades since women have over-represented in higher education, I'm sure there's a whole slew of mechanisms for addressing that in place now.

I’m sure that would happen but so what. To put a positive spin on that you are forcing people to improve themselves. If I was tutoring a black kid in math the best thing I could do for them would be to not accept excuses. I mean that goes for anyone but you get what I’m saying

Also when I was 12 and 13 my older sister was in high school and played volleyball. My dad asked me once why I went to all her games. Lol.
