Florida poll: DeSantis 61, Trump 39 (hotair.com)

DeSantis has poor name recognition outside of Florida. Using a Florida poll puts him on a level playing field with Trump (who is also a Florida resident). So when a Florida poll is a blowout for DeSantis, it tends to show that as his name recognition rises, the Right will see him as a preferable alternative to Trump.

Is this still true?

Yeah, I was reading about it the other day. Most normies who answer polls aren't that plugged into politics.

Not so much low name recognition as outside Florida people have only heard lies and smears. Like my relatives who thought woke textbooks were made up or that he banned people from saying "gay", because they get their news from NPR.

That's just going to happen to any serious republican candidate.

There are serious shenanigans going on in the Trump/DeSantis repuglican run for 2024, I'm starting to feel manipulated already.

Unless pushed to a wall, I would never vote for Trump again, he needs to step aside from public office to do other things he's better at.

Also why frame it within Trump/DeSantis? meh, hot air

I'm actually starting to wonder if this is actually subversion, and that maybe our resident Ethno-Nats aren't who they say they are.

As if the Ethno-Nats here are actually Leftist agitators pushing for some kind of DeSantis / Trump split.

I know they don't like Trump... but there's no reason for an Ethno-Nat to like DeSantis at all. He is not now, and is never going to be a White Nationalist.

The only real idea I have is they think he can be changed. Like they did with Trump until they figured out that Trump was going to roll over them and tell them to suck fat 'nards and go look at their furry porn collection. And then they will be once again disgusted and enraged that actually, no, the MAGA movement is not a home for them. No matter how much the media tries to tell them otherwise.

(note: This theory relies on them not be subversives or agitators. If latter is true, reason is much more straight forward and obvious).

And then they will be once again disgusted and enraged that actually, no, the MAGA movement is not a home for them. No matter how much the media tries to tell them otherwise.

I told them, the home for them is on the Left.

George Lincolin Rockwell knew it. ("Hilter was the greatest figure for Social Justice in the 20th Century").

Father Coughlin new it. ("Is Pro-Fascist Catholic magazine was called Social Justice")

And Richard Spencer knows it. It's why he's pushing for Biden. It's why he's making friends on the Left. It's why CNN invited him on. It's why the biggest source of alt-right recruitment wasn't from MAGA Chuds or Lolbertarians, but from the fucking Bernie Bros.

They know it too, but they DARE not speak it aloud. It took me days to get one of them to finally admit the words: "White Socialism has never been tried."

given his significant accomplishments in office, the instant Trump steps permanently out of active campaigning, even he will benefit from some of the halo effect that builds around former presidents

lol no

So the best economy since Reagan, a Supreme Court that is actually effective on occasion, hundreds of miles of border wall and the end of the Iraq and Afghan wars are not significant enough achievements for you?

Maybe if you seriously believed that Trump would be able to rule as a god-Emperor, that might not seem like a whole lot accomplished, but it seems to me like you demoralized Trump black-pillers were let down more by your own expectations than by Trump. He achieved as much as anyone could reasonably expect, given the forces arrayed against him.

These problems were never going to be fixed in four years.

It's really hard to know how based a justice will be before they're actually writing opinions. Trump actually did better than Reagan and the Bushes. O'Connor pulled the same shit that Roberts does today, and Kennedy was a fag lover. Scalia was the only based Reagan appointee. People often forget the Bush Sr appointed a justice other than Thomas: Souter straight up stabbed Bush in the back and joined the commie caucus. Kavanaugh is the only Trump appointee out of 3 who's total shit. Gorsuch does retarded shit on occasion but he's usually solid. The jury is still out on ACB IMO but I haven't seen anything totally awful from her. So yeah, it's not very fair to judge a president by their SCOTUS picks absent evidence of malice. Justices often do things the presidents who appointed them never expected.

hundreds of miles of border wall

Most of the Trump wall was built in California which already had a wall. Meanwhile in Texas, the border has a mere barbed-wire fence and is still waiting for a wall.

funny thing - going off that sentence alone:

it could have been written by a delusional MAGA boomer, a schizo democrat, or a propagandist who is aware that Trump achieved fuck all and wants to sabotage DeSantis. there's no way to tell

As much as I want to see a Trump president for accelerationist purposes, I dont think it will happen. But Desantis prez and Trump as florida gov would be great. Or Trump in the senate but don't think he would accept that much of a demotion.

I would like to see Trump on TV like Tucker Carlson. He would have way more power and influence. IDK why he cares so much about being a useless politician.

Is there anyone who isn't but has a realistic chance at an elected position higher than dogcatcher?

If not then we make do with what we have.

It's because being antisemite is so galling to normal humans that they don't really see you as fit to do anything more than that.

I've said it before. White people don't need you. They're not hypnotized by jews, they understand what you're saying, and they don't want your help, and are (correctly) ... erhm... (((correctly))) understanding that you're a crazy, bigoted, zealot, that can't be trusted.

The people who led the charge against White Supremacy... were, and are, white people.

Facts are facts. Look at their actions pertaining to Israel, who their biggest backers are, who are the majority of their chief staff members, who are their legal representatives, whether they've spoken at AIPAC or not, photos of them both at the Wailing Wall, their positions towards boycotts, freedom of speech involving history and the holocaust narrative, the list goes on and on.

No one is being attacked here, just pointing out facts. Get a grip.
