I couldn't even imagine starting college today as I'm not sure I'd have the stomach for that BS. I barely got through the college BS 20 years ago. Honestly, I'd probably say to hell with it and go to trade school and learn to be a mechanic or something if it were me today.
I do hope at least you're doing some degree that still has value. Don't waste your time away on journalism or arts or something
I worked in academia during the start of the Trump Presidency and that experience was already hell with almost everyone crying about orange man bad every fucking day.
I felt it 25 years ago and the anti white, anti male, anti america, anti west atmosphere is at least partly responsible for me zoning out and getting dismissed after 3 semesters.
During the orientation we all got into a room and they had us separate to one side of the room if we knew someone who is has aids and everyone cheered. Literally cheered for aids. My freshman "philosophy" class had us reading marx and a bunch of feminists. English 102 had one shakespere book and the rest by women and non whites. My bio lab admin was a dyke who used every discretionary tool to lower the grades of the men in her class.
I feel ya man. I just started grad school and they were bribing people with free food to go on a fag march, and one of my professors (for a STEM class!) put soy boy pronoun shit in his syllabus. All the based older people I know say they'd never be able to deal with higher ed the way it is now.
Trying to think back if anything was so blatant while I was in school. The only thing I can think of are the army recruiters, but no one fell for that.
Just keep your head down my man, the time flies much faster than you think it will so it won't be forever.
Also if you do want to do something to help fight wokeists, you may want to look into, say, Chris Rufo's org, I think Campus Reform and FIRE (foundation for individual rights in education) are doing stuff too. Taking docs from current students, fighting against the wokeists, their sites could tell you more.
But tbh wouldn't hold it against ya if you just keep quiet. The universities are absolutely brutal right now. I'd check more re: the organizations, but I'm at a filling station driving home from law school lol
I'm sorry. I entered college 20 years ago as a religious conservative from a rural area, and it was a total culture shock to me. I did not leave college any of those things. And it took me a very long time after college to "return to my roots" as it were and not completely reject that part of myself and see it instead as a strength.
It's hard to give advice (which I realize you aren't asking for but still) because you are young and probably will change quite a bit as you get older and that's not necessarily bad. What I will say is that people will try to make you feel guilty and/or ashamed about who and what you are and where you are from, and what your values are. You should not feel guilt or shame over these things. Anyone who tries to get you to do so is not acting in your best interests, even if they claim to be a friend. And even if you completely change your mind about certain things, who you once were and what you believed is a part of you and has an impact on who you will be in the future.
And you should take advantage of being able to explore new ideas and interests without having to spend most of your waking hours focused on stuff that someone else has already figured out. As closed-minded as you think university is, the working world is much more so; and you will still probably miss it once it is gone.
I thought I knew, but broadly speaking being raised a neo-conservative there are enough holes in that philosophy that it led me to question it. And then of course much later the holes in neo-liberalism revealed themselves and left me unsatisfied with that philosophy.
Once I discovered right-wing nationalism/populism was a thing, that was the end of my search for a home. In that regard perhaps OP is ahead of the curve, but then again perhaps his true home is elsewhere.
I was told by a close friend that they thought less of people who were religious. I might have gotten the "but you're one of the good ones" exclusions when that was said, but I don't remember.
Ive been noticing that drag "queens" are being pushed really hard across all forms of media. One of those faggots seems to be trying to worm its way into digimon (thankfully he wont get too far, because while a vocal minority of the fanbase are degenerate shippers, the rest just want to watch monsters beat each other up).
A student at the university of Wyoming was beaten and left to die. The play says he was beaten for being gay, and not stealing from the kid who was self medicating his rage. Said college is in Laramie, where my grandparents live.
You'd be better off going to a trade school or being an apprentice. If you're into tech get a job as an overnight NOC monkey and work your way up to developer.
Man, I got out of college at the right time, only 3 years ago. Sorry OP...
I would join that little event just for the hell of it if you got nothin else going on... get some edibles or a drink, have a good time out of it, just not as they intended
The only objectionable thing I see here is that it's being held online. It's being marketed to adults, not kids, so...
You don't like drag queens, you're an adult now so act like it and just scroll past the notice. Or, act like a troll and ask inappropriate questions that will get you banned from the group this was posted to and possibly brought up before some board for student conduct. Either way, welcome to being an adult, thumbs up!
Now you're sounding just like them. Congratulations, aussie card confirmed.
Keep out of people's fucking lives and if they aren't hurting anyone nonconsensually, leave them the fuck alone! No one cares what you think! Turn the fucking channel, close the webpage, use a different service. This goes for everyone. If you want to regulate how people live their lives when they aren't hurting anyone but themselves, stick it up your ass!
Also, it's not that "Drag Queen bingo" exists, which is the problem, it's that the college, and seemingly every college, is promoting that as something "normal" or "good", and that those fucking things have largely replaced normie bingo, and normie quiz nights.
Promoting degeneracy on campus is not ok. Normalising that shit is not ok. Keep it in the fucking gay bars, where people who WANT to see it can go along, and avail themselves of it. Stop promoting it to naïve college students, like (possibly) OP, and like I was, a few years ago. Stop acting like these events are normal, "fun", or "good".
I don't give a shit if people want to dress up in drag, or fuck other men, in private. Or even if you want to hold these shitty events in a fucking gay bar. But keep it there. Keep it off our fucking campuses. And stop promoting it to impressionable, generally young, college students, let alone financially or otherwise incentivising them to go along...
Fuck this shit. I'm sick of it being normalised, and I'm sick of it being promoted fucking everywhere, even here on the other side of the fucking world. KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES. Like the rest of us do with our "kinks" or our sexual proclivities. Come on, it's not that fucking hard...
When I was in University the school had many student organizations. But only one ever got the massive financial support and marketing paid for by the university, and not having it count against their budget. And that was the lgbt student organization. For an org that had roughly 20-30 members they got more financing and more dedicated spaces on campus than orgs of similar size or larger, including ones that were tied to an actual major. No other orgs had constant poster put up on campus by the university, and no other group got fliers put into every dorm room on move in day. It was very odd.
Drag is not a sexual kink. It's a fucking entertainment show that's supposed to make people feel uncomfortable, like standup comedy or slasher films. What perverts do with it like those disgusting leather freaks and the ones into latex and bondage is what needs to be kept in their own clubs and basements.
As for how you feel about it, like I said before, nobody cares. Nor should they. That's part of being an adult. Seeing shit you don't want or like and having to walk on by. I see christian bullshit everywhere, tits in my face on every god damn advertisement, some kartrashian slut, I can't even go to a british website without their god damn disgusting butchered goblins they call 'celebrities' in every god damn crevice. It's annoying, it grates on my nerves, it makes my skin crawl, but I ignore it.
You think I like seeing some fat fucking hag with rainbow hair, tattoos, and more fucking metal in her skin than pigment walking on my streets in something her fatass has turned into skin-tight booty shorts? THOSE are fetishes! Nipple piercings, tongue piercings, clit piercings! Those need to be fucking hidden and banished to never see again!
And to be truthful, I want the 'gay ghettos' back! Straight people ruined them by moving in with their damn kids! This set off trendy gays to have their own kids, and then the censorship police came in, and the religious nutcakes, and then they began to legislate where people could have bars, parties, noise, where people could hang out, then they took away anything that was even remotely gay or adult. They banned smoking outdoors! Straight people did this. We had a place to ourselves where we kept 'our degeneracy' and straight people took it away. Then they spread what little bit they liked like shit on every wall and television. Nothing stays forever, but don't blame the fact that it became mainstream on gays alone.
Pride parades, no. Fuck no. Tolerance to a point, is the expression. As for being a useful idiot, oh fuck off, you know better than that. If more people were more tolerant of ideas and less tolerant of interference, then things wouldn't be where they are in yours or my country.
And my wigs are none of your damn business. As a balding mostly white man, keep your nose out of my closet!
Dude! You are seriously sheltered if you think this is brazen. This is nothing. Jesus christ. Just, Jesus Fucking Christ, you are so fucking sheltered. There is more risque advertising in a beer commercial from the post-Janet superbowl era.
The same thing anal bleach and roach spray emails I'm sure you receive in overwhelming abundance has to do with your bedroom proclivities, it's their target audience and they want to spread their logo feces to a receptive audience by sponsoring it.
I don't look like Marlon Brando, but why do you think I wear panties? You been fantasizing about fat balding men in drag in your leisure time? Silly boy.
I cannot imagine attending college right now.
My complete condolences to you.
I worked in academia during the start of the Trump Presidency and that experience was already hell with almost everyone crying about orange man bad every fucking day.
Shit has gotten even worse now.
I felt it 25 years ago and the anti white, anti male, anti america, anti west atmosphere is at least partly responsible for me zoning out and getting dismissed after 3 semesters.

It might have been funny if they didn't try to destroy my career over the fact that I didn't constantly bitch about the orange man.
I constantly said I am not interested in politics and the scumbags just kept claiming that everything is political.
Thankfully I now have no contact with any one of those scumbags.
I feel ya man. I just started grad school and they were bribing people with free food to go on a fag march, and one of my professors (for a STEM class!) put soy boy pronoun shit in his syllabus. All the based older people I know say they'd never be able to deal with higher ed the way it is now.
Tell that faggot that he has to call you by your pronouns, Biden/Sniffself or hes aracist.
Publish link. Publish ID. Publish code. Make sure to let pol know. Continue to do so into they're forced to go dark. And always, always use a VPN.
I like the way you think.
This is a fucking advertisement.
Trying to think back if anything was so blatant while I was in school. The only thing I can think of are the army recruiters, but no one fell for that.
There were posters around campus when I was in college 10-15 years ago, but the emails were pretty mininal.
That is very similar to my own experience.
Did you have those awkward interactions where they say present company excluded after saying something really trashy about were you are from?
I was told by a close friend that they thought less of people who were religious. I might have gotten the "but you're one of the good ones" exclusions when that was said, but I don't remember.
$70 is $70 I guess.

I had one teacher bring up the Laramie Project first day of class. I decided not to tell him where I spent my family reunion.
What's that and where did you go for your family reunion?
A student at the university of Wyoming was beaten and left to die. The play says he was beaten for being gay, and not stealing from the kid who was self medicating his rage. Said college is in Laramie, where my grandparents live.
Gotcha. Well more thieves should be beaten anyway (groomers too)
You'd be better off going to a trade school or being an apprentice. If you're into tech get a job as an overnight NOC monkey and work your way up to developer.
College is for chumps.
I would prank the fuck out of these faggots.
Why blank out the info unless youre just here to be a faggot and show off how gay your school is?
good luck and don't get cancer.
I am so thankful I finished college a few years ago instead of starting it today. I honestly am not sure I would go at this point.
It would be a shame if that meeting ID got out to a bunch of people who may be interested in disrupting it lol...
Man, I got out of college at the right time, only 3 years ago. Sorry OP...
I would join that little event just for the hell of it if you got nothin else going on... get some edibles or a drink, have a good time out of it, just not as they intended
You got played bro
Fucking why?
Post the info using a VPN to 4chan and watch the shenanigans

Attitudes like this are how we got to where we are today...
I suppose I used to go with the "live and let live" attitude, too. But now, they literally want us dead. And they admit as much.
Does that not... As someone else pointed out, "wig you out" a bit? Really?
This is just another (local) salvo in the culture wars, and the slide towards degeneracy. Don't give them that, OP. Don't give them that...
Also, fuck drag. And fuck the women (I don't know a single straight man who "likes" it) I used to know who lap it up.
Now you're sounding just like them. Congratulations, aussie card confirmed.

Lol, you're very tetchy, today, aren't you..?
Someone steal your wig collection?
Seriously, though - no. No. This attitude is a mistake, and is exactly how we reached this point.
You think fucking Drag Queen Bingo and gimp pride parades are harmless?? Man, must be fun being a "useful idiot"...
Pride parades, no. Fuck no. Tolerance to a point, is the expression. As for being a useful idiot, oh fuck off, you know better than that. If more people were more tolerant of ideas and less tolerant of interference, then things wouldn't be where they are in yours or my country.
