During the orientation we all got into a room and they had us separate to one side of the room if we knew someone who is has aids and everyone cheered. Literally cheered for aids. My freshman "philosophy" class had us reading marx and a bunch of feminists. English 102 had one shakespere book and the rest by women and non whites.
