Wait, tried for what?

They're not even asserting a crime. They just want conservatives dead.

Yes.

I love it. They're freaking out and exposing themselves. The more they do it, the better position we'll be in.

Only if we start holding them to account, which I have yet to see emerging.

They've already killed people, and were met with a resounding 'meh'.

They've taken this as approval to continue.

We'll be in an even better position when they're loading us onto the trains. Surely then, the masses will put a stop to all of this?

Death Penalty being expensive is only a problem that liberals created because they think the absolute scum of the earth need to be killed in the most “humane” way of pumping them full of expensive chemicals. Christ, one shot to the head, shallow grave. Definitely costs less than 25 years of food and shelter.

Ok, except some people on death row have eventually been found innocent. There should be a balance.

That’s a completely fine justification of NOT having the death penalty. But, you either don’t have the death penalty because of that or you admit that the worst of the worst don’t deserve painless deaths.

I don't trust the criminal justice system to not kill innocent people, so I'd like those people to at least get a mercifully quick and painless death when it does happen. Call it a compromise.

▲ 2 ▼
– A2BS 2 points 5 years ago +2 / -0

I think if it’s impossible to be sure of innocence then you should not be possible to be sentenced to death, as one of the worst things a government can do is directly kill an innocent man. However there are some very clear cut cases (video+audio evidence and plea without coercion) where it should not matter and any execution that is quick and easy will do. I also agree with other people’s sentiment that firing squad can be more quick and painless and certainly cheaper than the shitshow that are lethal injections.

People should also not be imprisoned for life for something they didn't do. To me, the amount of appeals you get should have nothing to do with the sentence.

I'm still not sure what's exactly more humane about a chemical death. A shot to the head is pretty fucking instant if they do it right. Hanging I could see where an argument could be made, but a bullet.. not so much. Hell, the guillotine was pretty instant too, but that's more about the show of it than anything. Granted, the only thing I see that works in favor of chemical is that the cleanup a a hell of a lot easier.

Don’t care, there is no such thing as a humane death. We rip apart unborn babies piece by piece with forceps, there is no humane standard only a more expedient one.

I'd argue the guillotine is the most humane method, as long as the convict gets a bag over their head and a nice pillow.

Maybe not humane for the cleanup crew though.

It’s all optics. They’re supposedly paralyzed so there’s no thrashing about or whatever

– LinkR 2 points 5 years ago +2 / -0

True. The "humane" part of the execution was never made for the recipient. It's to make the people dishing it out feel better about themselves, while also pretending it isn't for them so they can also feel good about "doing the killed dude a favor." A double win. It's kinda sick.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– MargarineMongoose 1 point 5 years ago +1 / -0

If it were about being humane they'd just use anesthetics and then pump the poison in after the prisoner was knocked out.

▲ 4 ▼
– when_we_win_remember 4 points 5 years ago +4 / -0

That's not terribly far off from what a death by lethal injection is. Or if you already know more than me, you'd have to explain to me how what you're talking about is different.

If you think someone COULD be innocent, why would killing them humanely be better than life imprisonment? They’re either clearly guilty of something completely heinous, in which case why care about their comfort, or there’s a possibility of innocence, in which case killing should be completely off the table. Killing the innocent should be verboten, regardless of how painful it was. I think execution should be reserved for specifically those clearly and certainly guilty rather than beyond a reasonable doubt.

Imagine seeing the radical changes and upheaval happening all around us, all of it the work of radical leftists, and then asserting that conservatives are the ones dragging anything anywhere.

Had an old friend tell me that the US has "no left wing" and "the FBI has been ignoring 50 years of non-stop right-wing terrorism".

I literally told him, "I don't know how you can say the US doesn't have a Left wing, coming from someone who was on it." Got silent confusion, and a slow walk-back, for that one.

It's gonna take a while to deconvert him. He has a very Left-wing authoritarian mindset.

I mean, if you ask Europeans (who am I kidding, you don't need to ask, they will butt in to tell you) that's apparently the truth according to them.

Which always made me wonder if maybe its not that we lack a Left Wing, but they lack a Right wing and are just Left and Extremer Left and biased. If its true at all.

Both America and Europe lack an actual right wing. The farthest right politician in america is a centrist, the the farthest right one in western europe is a socialist. That is how far off the rocker the west has gone.

They absolutely lack a right-wing.

Fabian Socialists have dominated Europe for over a century. Even the AfD is effectively just a Liberal party like UKIP.

Also, the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbin, was effectively a Socialist Party. It shocks me to listen to the shit they were saying, and still imagining that Britons thought they were some sort of Democrat-Like party. The Labour Party were already Socialist in the 1970's from what I can see. The UK, right now, is a Democratic Socialist state.

Laying out some logic and then immediately adding an exception that would be expanded on if questioned further. Obviously they want political opponents dead, and it won't stop with one person. These people are liars, and have no logic. They present things as if they're logical, "here are my """reasons"""", when they don't reason at all, they just hate and want to destroy.

As I've said before:

Leftism is a Philosophy of War. Leftists seek to seize power from non-Leftists and to enforce their will upon non-Leftists because they are considered enemies. All enemies are outside of your moral framework, which is why it is not immoral to murder them.

Your enemy is not effected by moral force, that is why you do not give moral consideration to them. That is the reason you have to shoot at him in the first place. All other forms of force have no effect upon an enemy.

Now, in fairness, before any FBI agents start commenting in replies, no you can't just go full helicopter mode. You can't fight the same tactics as your enemy because you aren't fighting from the same position.

The thing you do have to recognize is that a moral judgement by a Leftist is that it is the moral judgement of your enemy. Never give it the time of day. Operate in total obstinance to their demands, and let them hurl themselves upon the earthworks. We are operating from positions without institutional strength, as such, we need to rely on building our own institutions, gate-keeping, refusing negotiation, and infiltrating into their own systems to disrupt them.

We win by focusing on our advantages: we build perpetually, we gate-keep aggressively, we refuse to obey, and we must be prepared to forgive and grant mercy upon repentance. These are tactics that the Left can't replicate, which is our strongest advantage.

It would not surprise me if some innocents have been executed at all. That'll happen when humans are judge, jury and executioner. But "often" is a fuckin stretch. Just another lefty faggot trying to redefine the meanings of words.

There's no evidence we've executed anyone innocent, that's a libtard myth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wrongful_convictions_in_the_United_States

In the coming years, we might hear that this guy was wrongfully executed because the Judge, for some magical reason, refused to allow the DNA evidence to be tested.

I know ammo is expensive right now, but still even a big round to make sure the job is done cleanly wouldn't be more than $5. If I consider the depreciation and wear and tear on the gun, paying someone to clean up the mess, a grave digger, an executioner, hell we can even throw in a simple wooden coffin--after all we aren't totally undignified. Even then, that's gotta be less than a month of imprisonment.

DeSantis guilty of what? I guess since they are trying to make it a crime to hurt a leftist's feelings I imagine it's that.
