Think about it. The USS Maine wasn't a false flag. It legitimately exploded. Why intentionally blow up a ship when you can just use the New York Times to blame the Spanish anyway, and profit off of the hysteria they cause?
It's not any different from police shootings. The government doesn't have to manufacture them. They can just wait for one, then spin it into their narrative. It's way easier to do, and has basically no chance of getting caught.

Fun fact: Most US wars have started over an attack on one of our (or allies) ships. Everything from the sinking of the Lusitania to the Tonkin Gulf incident. If you think our government wouldn't flinch at killing innocent civilians and military personnel to further their various agendas, I invite you to wake the fuck up. Some of these shootings might have been Bob Ross style happy accidents, but I wouldn't put it past the Feds to stoke up a few crazies as well. The lives of ordinary Americans mean less than nothing to the powerful elite, who manipulate us at every possible step.

It was an accident, and the press and government knew they could exploit it immediately, which they did. This is the common pattern. A real incident, that is murky enough not to be able to immediately disprove your narrative, and can then be exploited by the media to create casus belli. It's the same pattern over centuries.

You don't understand that this is a contradiction. You're right, the elites don't care about you. That's why they don't need to manipulate your every possible action. If you know, it doesn't matter. If you in particular aren't manipulated, it won't effect anything.

Put it like this: we know that the Left is pushing police shootings. None of the police officers or criminal suspects are being planted. These shootings are all genuine, that's why we can find so much information about why most of them are legitimate. But no one one the Left knows that because the establishment media didn't tell them.

If you want a war with Syria, you just have CBS use some footage of a machine gun range and lie. You don't manufacture a fake attack with US Special Forces.
If you want to shore up the Asian vote in Democratic cities, you don't use a federal agent to attack random old Japanese people. You wait for someone old Japanese person to get attacked and you blame white supremacy. When someone points out that it was a black person that attacked him you just keep lying and tell others not to listen.
If you want to promote gun control, you don't manufacture mass shootings, you wait for mass shootings and you blame guns.
Quick point of order: Lusitania was a British-owned Royal Mail Steamer (RMS), not a United States Naval Ship (USS). But your main point is still true. In fact, to further bolster your, the Zimmerman Telegram was sent a full year before it was leaked to the public, and they knew that the Mexicans response to the Germans had been "ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS?! No, absolutely not! And do not attempt to contact us again!"
But they waited until the public was at a point where they would be sufficiently angry (which ended up being "German restarted unrestricted submarine warfare, and had sunk a few US merchant ships"), and then they dropped it.
Another point to note - the Zimmerman Telegram also heavily involved British intelligence, who were the ones to get the intercept. Part of the reason for the delay was the elaborate parallel construction necessary to be able to provide the Zimmerman telegram without telling the US that the British were tapping everything sent across the Atlantic.

It is definitely kind of weird. At the time it sank, there was absolutely genuine anger. You had people howling for blood, you had people attacking Germans in America in retaliation for it, you had freaking Teddy Roosevelt saying he was going to get the Rough Riders back together to go kick Germanys ass (and initial reports were that he would have a million man army to do it with), and all of that. Then Wilson decides to ignore it, calm everyone down, and run for reelection on an isolationist platform. Ironically, using Lusitania as an example of "This is why we should be isolationist."
Then, on the orders of the Kaiser, Germany starts doing unrestricted subs again, they sank a few US Merchant ships before the call really got out to watch their backs, and British Intelligence leaks the Zimmerman Telegram (as I said, a year late). Then you have Wilson suddenly getting as worked up as Teddy did, and even going "You know what?! We should have smashed them the first time!"

I still consider goading a crazy person into going on a shooting spree to be a false flag attack, because the Feds are clearly using it as a way to smear gun owners. Just because real people die doesn't make it any less of a false flag. Crisis actors are meant to set the scene, but it's not like the government would think twice about killing actual citizens as part of their plan to disarm us.

Accelerated because of BLM. There was a study recently (which I believe was posted on here) that up through 2019 areas which had had BLM protests had increased homicide rates afterwards. With everything escalating more and more people screaming about how all cops are evil and need to be fired if not killed, law enforcement is stepping back pretty much everywhere and it's only going to get worse.
Chicago had a 65.8% increase in shootings (3261 total). Resulted in a 64.4% increase in shooting victims (4033 total), and 55% increase in homicides (769 total) from 2019. Cook county (which Chicago is part of) had 875 gun homicide victims total, 78% were black.
79 Chicago officers were shot at, 10 hit. 558% increase since 2015.
Chicago is a high shooting area normally, but it is still a massive increase, and it's not alone.

The welfare state is collapsing. 70% of the US budget is redistribution of wealth to buy votes from stupid people. They've doubled the national debt with the money printing over the last 12 months. Medicare/Social Security is due to be insolvent (unfunded) in less than 10 years, by all estimates.
They must never let an outsider win another election. They must get all higher courts in line. They must disarm the citizens. This is the only way they don't end up in mass graves.
