TikTok is already heavily censored, they are not banning it because of the content, the argument is that if China bans Google, Twitter and Facebook why should we allow Chinese tech companies like TikTok to operate here, let them taste their own medicine. OK I am glad you won´t enforce this because few people archive links, you would have to ban half the people. The Ad revenue thing is a non issue, easily solved with an adblocker what is a serious issue is archive forcing captchas on every single article.
