German police raiding homes looking for certain type of people? Sounds awfully familiar

"Today’s day of action makes it clear: we consciously go into the spaces of hate, identify acts and perpetrators, take them out of anonymity and bring them to accountability.”

It's called terror - the use of fear to intimidate opponents of the regime. It's been in conscious use since the French Revolution.

Police raided homes and interrogated 45 suspects in 11 states early Thursday. None of the suspects were detained

Why then are these jackbooted Gestapo thugs raiding people's homes, if not to arrest people?

The raids concentrated on suspects who had set their sights on well-known women like female politicians

So they're arresting critics of politicians? That never happened before.

Interior Minister Faeser encouraged women to report all incidents in order to bring those responsible to justice. "When the police show up at the door, it is a very effective signal..."

If you are sending any message, it is that you cannot vote your way out of tyranny, and that the police aren't innocent for obeying orders - no more than the Gestapo, SS or Stasi were innocent. And also that as much as it pains to admit it as a European, the Americans are right about the Second Amendment being a check on tyranny.

There is a reason why everytime the police raid they go full SWAT. Because anything less holds a real chance of them getting fucking destroyed by a random basketball American with a stolen gun he is holding sideways. We have numerous regular incidents to prove it.

Translation: only minorities and women can incite violence, sexism and bigotry online. Evil White men (and boys) need to be taught a lesson if they dare shitpost back.

You can only treat women like donkeys if you claim you do so in the name of diversity and to respect other people´s culture.

Understand that Germany and freedom of speech have never gone together in its history. And really this goes for Europe as a whole.

The problem is that we generally have freedom of speech in everyday life. I mean guess how often I was insulted and have insulted people here? I and my "victim" could've gone to the police at any time. But we don't. Same when you insult the local politician at a rally. You are free to insult him and life continues for everyone.

So essentially we have those laws, but they are rarely releveant.

A few years ago a (now total leftist) comedian (Böhmermann) called Erdogan (president of Turkey) a "goat fucker". This lead to § 103 StGB (insulting foreign leaders/kings/....) to be removed from our constitution. Basically allowing "Hey, you can insult others". So honestly we were moving towards a more "freedom of speech" society.
Of course now looking at which political side is in the government, there's no surprise that we are moving back to that. The GDR was a always a leftists dream.

And today I read that they plan to use an "AI" developed in Germany to try to autodetect hate speech online and persecute the authors.

Let them in. Listen with a polite smile and don't say anything. When they pause ask them "is that all?" and then usher them out the door.

Post the video of it online. Continue shit-posting.
