I agree with you but this needs to be something the Scored system takes care of automatically if it's that important, or worst case just ban non-archived links based on a blacklist or whitelist.
It also needs to detect the original embedded summary to onebox from the archive.

OP, you should archive, not only to deny ad revenue, but also to have a historical record of their statements as most journalist sites will intentionally re-write articles without editors notes or disclaimers. I'm not going to force you to do it, but it is normally a good idea to do it, especially with places like the CBC.
