I still can't get over the body they gave her. It's literally a man's body, with her head grafted onto it. No woman ever has an arm like that. You can look up UFC women that beat the shit out of each other for a living, and it still looks different. That is a guy's arm model. So are the hands.

Seriously. It's incredible. It's a male body model. Take your hand, and cover up the face right now. It's a male body. There is nothing female about it at all.

"It's a dark day".

L. O. L.

Seriously. How fucking full of themselves these leftist shitbags always are. They truly view themselves as Thomas Sowell describes them - "The Anointed".

We should weep today, gentlemen. We have had their wisdom withheld from us. Whatever shall we do?

One of the Right's biggest weaknesses is our zeal to utterly cast out anyone who isn't as zealous as us or has a few flaws. The Left doesn't suffer from this problem and it's paid them dividends over the decades.

Is this for real? Look - the right definitely has small issues with this as well (not anywhere near the same extent, but it does); however, the left is famous for their purity purges. There are tons of examples.

Look at even just JK Rowling. She was a flaming feminist/leftist, but she stepped out of line one time, spoke up about the importantance of "single-sex spaces" - i.e., she didn't want men pretending to be women in the women's restroom, and she was totally excommunicated. Seriously - she didn't want mtf guys in the restroom, that invalidated all her other leftist activism, and she was instantly the new female uterus-haver (or whatever the stupid fucking term the left uses for normal women now) British Hitler.

The left is absolutely insane when it comes to the whole, "You have to toe the line 100%, or you are a fascist/racist Hitler transphobe whatever" crap. Even Obama himself called them out on their circular firing squads.

I have a pretty good respect for Musk now. Think back to a couple of years ago. The guy literally had it all: crazy rich, and he was still the darling of all the imbecile "science, bitch!" leftists on reddit/internet and in the media (Seriously - they used to felatiate him non-stop). Despite all that, he was willing to put a significant amount of wealth on the line in an attempt to disrupt the insane levels of censorship the left was exercising on the internet - the new public square.

We've all seen the non stop attacks on him now directly because of him disrupting their near total control of the public dialogue. He's also lost a ton of money on that deal. Yet, he's still willing to put himself out there, and while he doesn't always come down on the right side, at least he's been willing to speak some sanity like he is here.

Guy's definitely not perfect, but at least he's been willing to do something. I respect it.

You don't even have to go as far out there as sports to point out their hypocrisy. What about teaching? Men have been all but driven out of teaching until you get to the high school level, it's massively effecting our sons, and the imbeciles on the left do absolutely nothing to address it. If they were serious about making sure everyone was being represented in all careers, where are the programs (I.E., discriminating on behalf of men - hand out scholarships to get them teaching credentials, and then discriminating in the hiring process to land them jobs) to change it?

What about college degrees? They have advantaged women to such a degree that colleges are now something like 2/3 women, and what have these righteous crusaders for "equality" done to help boys/men? We aren't even talking about creating programs to help boys. They won't even drop the programs to bias everything towards girls, when it's girls that are in the majority now.

They don't explain why, because they don't have to. The left owns the media (traditional/internet). They decide what the narrative is. They - by and large - decide what the public is enraged about. The media will never point out that they are assholes and hypocrites, and - most importantly - knowing that, and being called that wouldn't move them in the slightest. They just wanted power. It's that simple. They have zero ideological problems with discrimination; they just wanted to be the ones in charge of who is doing the discrimination.

Who exactly pushed for this?

Let me help you out - answer: the shitbag left.

5
jvardrake 5 points ago +5 / -0

Politics. It's come out that she has leftist politics, so media/tech are pumping her up.

If she came out tomorrow and said she had reconsidered, and her politics were on the right, this would all go away in an instant, and she would go back to just being another musician.

5
jvardrake 5 points ago +5 / -0

Which is exactly what you get when you concede near total control of the ability to set/control the public narrative to the left.

The country/world is like this for that simple reason: the left indoctrinates the masses into its worldview, and it then keeps control by constant propaganda.

2
jvardrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're leaving out the classic shitbag leftist angle: "and even if they did do it, here's why it's a good thing that they did..."

I.e, anything is ok, so long as it is done in the pursuit of furthering the politics of the left.

4
jvardrake 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same reason they have been relentlessly going after Musk/Twitter: the shitbag left cannot allow control over public discourse / "the narrative" to be taken from them. Thus, you see all this crap they pull whenever there is something that challenges it. They try to DDOS it. They try to start campaigns on other social media to declare the offending platform to be a haven for nazis, pedophiles, misogynists, etc. They get their cohorts in the financial companies to blacklist their funding. They get their dbag activist friends in Apple/Google to ban it from their respective app-stores.

It's really so simple. The left will not suffer losing control over what/how the public is allowed to discuss stuff, and the reason is that without that constant control, normal people do not become radical leftists. It takes constant indoctrination.

3
jvardrake 3 points ago +3 / -0

The amount of brigading in r/conservative is unreal at this point. Simply unreal.

It's quite clear that the left has paid activists on there at this point, and their sole job is to attempt to steer/set the narrative.

jvardrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

They can flip a switch in an instant and the morons will be frothing over "fascist" DeSantis just as much as they would over Bad Orange Man.

You seriously don't think that it being Trump ratchets it up to 11, though? They are absolutely insane with regards to him. He has gotten them - the traditional/social media - to totally drop the mask, throw away any sense of unbiased professionalism, civility, fairness, justice, whatever, and go all in on doing whatever they think it takes to get "their side" into office.

It's not just that, either. It's that, whereas any other candidate has already had a little bit of garbage run against them, they have already been going crazy hard against Trump for like what, 9 years now? They have so thoroughly poisoned the opinions of people in the middle (the only votes that really matter, as the hardliners on the left/right are likely to vote for their side no matter what happens), and even those of some on the right, with regards to him, it's just hard to imagine the outcome where they can't sway the vote that 1 or 2 percent it takes for them to win.

Again - a year from now, if we're sitting here watching the entirety of the left REEEEEEEing itself into the shadow realm as they sulk through the ashes of President Elect Trump v2, it will be my great pleasure to come back here, search though my comments to find your name, and tell you, "Holy shit! You were right! Thank God!". It's just so hard to see that future coming true, though. I just cannot envision the future where we don't see the same thing we saw last time: 24/7 doomsday propaganda, paired up with the masses of low-information/low-motivation retards (that - unbeknownst to them - wisely did the country a favor, and never bothered to vote in the past), going out to their mailbox one day, getting a completely unsolicited mail-in ballot, going, "Hurr!!! Trump?! I've been indoctrinated non-stop about how this guy is the end-of-democracy-neo-Hitler! I guess I'm supposed to check the "anyone-but-him-even-though-I-have-zero-idea-what-his-platform-is" box, and then having that ballot spirited away by democrat volunteers. They've done this exact same sort of thing multiple times now, and they have gotten exceedingly effective at doing it. It just seems like they would have a much harder time getting those aforementioned retards to care enough about anyone else to go through the motions.

2
jvardrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

If Trump is alive, he'll be the nominee. God willing, he will stay that way.

I just don't get how people are so convinced that Trump will win be allowed to win.

Look - if we were just picking based on what sorts of policies a candidate would bring to the presidency, Trump is my guy. He was the first guy in forever that I had zero doubt was using our treasure/power to prioritize us first (and then hopefully reliable allies second). Some of the stupid shit he stirs up on Twitter I could do without, but - whatever - it was worth the price of admission.

Unfortunately, policies aren't what we're picking on, though. The leftists in the government - and, more importantly, in the media and the tech companies that control the access of information to the public - are 100% going to be able to use Trump + their total lack of morals/professionalism to ram through 4 more years of Biden, or whoever else the left throws out there. The average person is way too easily swayed by 24/7 propaganda, and while I understand that they will propagandize against anyone the right runs, running Trump gives them so much ammunition, and so much determination, I don't see how he would ever win. They will go absolutely bonkers blasting the public with negative coverage the second it looks like his nomination is a sure thing. That plus the "electioneering" (universal mail in ballots + ballot harvesting, using lawsuits to keep him off the ballot, etc) they engage in will doom us to 4 more years (and maybe permanent more years at the rate the shitbag left is entrenching itself in our all the institutions of our society) of a leftist run country. The margins are so thin, it doesn't take much to tip things in their favor. They just need to effect the outcome 1 or 2 percent in a handful of states.

God, I hope I'm wrong and you guys are right. It's so fucking hard to watch the country you were brought up to love being taken apart by these people.

If you are ever there, stop by a Seven Eleven (I know it sounds weird, but convenience stores are a big deal there, and their Seven Eleven isn't really related to ours anymore...) This one - Beef, Egg, and Mayo is pretty badass, too.

2
jvardrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

The Japanese are hardcore about mayo, d00d. My wife is insane with it. Sticks it on everything.

As for sushi (eaten over there, just for reference), I can think of more than a couple off the top of my head that feature mayo:

The Japanese love mayo. Theirs is a bit different, though. It has a little bit of a sourness to it.

4
jvardrake 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even in Japan you can get them sort of deep fried.

They don't really do the whole deep fry the whole roll thing, but rolls with deep fried shrimp, fish, or even chicken are quite common. Getting deep fried (tempura) style shrimp on top of chunk of rice (the nigiri style) is common, too.

Here are examples of each: nigiri, maki. I am happy to report that, even with sushi, deep fried is in fact awesome.

They got you covered, Tex.

jvardrake 4 points ago +4 / -0

My wife is from Japan. Up until COVID, we spent around 3+ weeks over there, every year, for the past ~18 years. I have never seen her, nor her parents, nor any any of her relatives, nor any friends eat sushi (nigiri and makizushi - the kinds most westerners would be familiar with) with their hands. They (and I, who just follows their lead) always use chopsticks.

The only time I have ever witnessed the whole "with their hands" thing is when we've eaten temaki - it's when there's just a pile of stuff at the table, and you make your own loosely wrapped "cones" yourself - for dinner in her parents' house.

I'm always curious if this whole, "the only true way to eat sushi is with your hands!", thing is regional, just age based, or what.

In any event, they have warmed up a lot to American style sushi, and you will even see stuff inspired by it in some of the "kaiten/conveyor belt" chain places over there, but I've never seen anyone eat it with ketchup.

Edit: Just for the record, I'm no weeb, and not a self proclaimed Japanese cultural expert. I'm just reporting what I've seen.

And they wonder why they're having recruitment problems

They don't wonder; they know why. They just don't care, as it's obviously one of their goals to force as many people from the right side of the political spectrum out of the armed forces. Covid - and the ability to wield it as political weapon - was a godsend to those on the left.

These people aren't stupid. Evil? Yes. Stupid? No. They know that if things ever actually do manage to come to a head here (because of what the leftists in the government are doing) they absolutely cannot afford to have our armed forces all aligned with their opponents.

The only good thing (I would have given him credit for the work he's done to promote reading to kids, but now that he's politicized it? nah...) to come out of Levar Burton in the last 30 years is the Geordi/Drake meme, and he didn't even have anything to do with it:

Just to recap: what's acceptable?

jvardrake 14 points ago +14 / -0

Guys... he didn't wear the Geordi outfit when he was douching it up at this awards show. Someone just did that for the article/thumbnail.

jvardrake 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm willing to bet, without even reading her reason(s), that she's leaving because the place is just too toxic, or too "far-right" now.

The left wants Twitter to fail so much now. They need it to fail. They cannot stand - they cannot afford - to have a world in which they are not the ones deciding who/what is allowed/not allowed.

The entire rise of the leftism over the last couple years is entirely due to their monopoly on the narrative. Without it, there is zero way they achieve what they have achieved. They need to indoctrinate, and they aren't going to give it up so easily.

20
jvardrake 20 points ago +20 / -0

They don't give a fuck! They aren't making these decisions thinking these choices are what is going to generate the most money.

These companies are absolutely infested with leftist indoctrinates who are absolutely convinced that, regardless of how these garbage films perform, that they are doing a good thing. Seriously, they are 100% convinced that anyone who opposes them - more importantly, their ideology - is evil.

Somewhere up the chain? Sure, there might be some investors that are genuinely mad that profitability isn't coming into the decision making process, but they are outnumbered by the indoctrinates now.

1
jvardrake 1 point ago +1 / -0

Straight up.

This is what is at the heart of how the left wins now. The two hyper polarized groups on each side of the spectrum? They are going to vote left, or vote right no matter what. It's the group of "undecided" and "uninterested" people in the middle that matters, and the left has a near monopoly on the ability to indoctrinate/propagandize those people. They decide (almost entirely) what those people are shown, and what they are told to be upset about vs told to ignore.

It's like the election results in 2020. I still don't get why so many people think there needed to be outright election fraud in 2020 for the left to win. The leftists in the media (traditional and social) had been driven mad by Trump, and had totally thrown away any desire to be seen as professional, or non-biased. They blasted the middle with ungodly amounts of propaganda - 24/7 - for four fucking years. Then they used COVID to change the rules so that massive amounts of unsolicited mail in ballots were sent out to those uninterested - but now highly propagandized - masses. A huge swath of people that would normally not even bother to vote, who didn't follow politics at all - and, most importantly: people who were highly susceptible to propaganda, and had been worn down and programmed for four years - suddenly didn't have to put any work at all into voting, and simply had to find a ballot in their mailbox one day and go, "Hurrrr! Le orange man is SO bad. He's like Hitler! I've heard this non stop for four years. It doesn't matter that I have no idea what the platform of the other guy is (because he didn't even have to specify it, thanks to a media that protected him every step of the way). Literally anyone has to be better!"

Shitbag politicians are going to do what they do. Nothing you can do about it. Our political system can survive that. What it can't survive is the left having unfettered access to control what the people in the middle are shown, and what they have hidden from them. It can't survive only one side being taken to task for its mis-steps. All sides have to be held equally accountable, or the whole fucking thing falls apart, because that massive group of uninterested idiots in the middle is way too easy to control with simple indoctrination, and the left has constructed an absolutely gigantic system to indoctrinate people at this point.

jvardrake 7 points ago +7 / -0

At least this is coming out before elections for you Americans.

Won't make a difference. The leftist machine has already sprung into action to remove this from social media. Only people who are going to see it are the sorts of people that are already firmly opposed to the left, and not going to vote for them no matter what.

Unlikely people in the middle will ever be exposed to it.
