r/con was hijacked a long time ago. Probaby the only reason it hasn't been banned yet. When I left it was a DeSantis shill board with a lot of TDS flowing around. Not to mention a constant wave of brigading that the mods didn't care about.
R/con was the only board on Reddit I ever got hit for 'ban evasion'. I've had several accounts that got hit by the admins for various reasons, mostly 'moderator harassment' for calling then faggots in direct messages. Couple for 'transphoba', but only on r/con was it for ban evasion. Someone accused me of being an anti semite, and I responded with "thanks for noticing". Found how who rules over that sub.
i copped a 3 day for "harassing" the mods of /technology for asking them why they banned me (no reason given) and getting muted for 28 days repeatedly.

Ask Elon. I think it's more likely simply because Alex Jones' name is more well-known.
It's probably at least in part a question of whether Elon personally likes the person.
Jones has had people clamoring for him back forever, Fuentes is long passed anyone caring about him to make any sort of wave.
It don't gotta be that deep fam. Jones probably had hundreds of people a day messaging Musk about him, and was recognizable enough to get massive numbers on the polls. Fuentes supporters probably didn't even bother showing up for their Catboy Leader, what few they are.

Moves like this make me less apprehensive about Elon trying to make twitter an everything platform so long as he's in charge, maybe he can obtain Steam so long as Gabe is in charge status.

I watched that documentary about Alex Jones and was shocked that he wasn't a total crazy (e.g. the 9/11 stuff and the Bohemian Grove nonsense). Now, even if he is crazy, he should be able to speak.
