I mean, I expect COVID numbers will be down in May, simply because COVID is largely a seasonal illness.

Something to keep in mind. She was suddenly woken up at 4am,. Sometimes when you're suddenly woken up, things can seem surreal and dreamlike. She may not have fully realized that something terrible was happening. Sometimes adrenaline doesn't kick in the way that you would expect it to.

They had three biological children together, and one adopted one. I can't say I know anything else about their domestic life, though. I just got this off of Wikipedia.

The surgery. His whole interview is about how he regrets the steps he took, and that he's glad that he didn't go further with his transition. He says that people should be able to do what they want with their own lives, but that the indoctrination of children through avenues like TikTok is wrong.

The bottom-left picture looks like Fiona and Donkey had a baby.

Ironically, Friday the 13th already has a female doing it first because the killer in the first film is Jason's mother, Pamela Vorhees.

This dialogue reminded me of a book I saw recently, called, The Girl Who Could Move Shit With Her Mind. And it got me thinking:

Am I the only one who's annoyed by how common profanity is in every medium? I don't mean from a moralistic standpoint; I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the words themselves. I would even say that there's a time and place for them. But if you use them every other sentence, it makes you sound crass, uneducated, and childish.

I was a teenager, once. I had my swearing like a sailor phase. But I outgrew it when I wanted to be taken seriously as a professional. Meanwhile, I have relatives who read Go the Fuck to Sleep to their baby every night because, "it's just words."

He disregarded the first two rules of gun safety pretty blatantly.

1.) Treat every gun as if it is loaded.

2.) Never point a gun at something you are not prepared to destroy.

Most importantly, he stayed that way, even after becoming a "prophet." In comparison, St. Paul was a pretty bad guy, by his own admission, who was utterly transformed by his encounter with Jesus.

The implosion of Channel Awesome was a real redpill for me. I had the naive idea that most of the content creators on that site were decent, regular nerds who had really fun jobs. It was only when the whole thing collapsed into infighting and complete childishness that I realized that it was a pack of dysfunctional, narcissistic, man/womanchildren who couldn't run their own lives, let alone a business.

Has anyone else noticed that manchildren hate real children? I don't mean simply feeling uncomfortable around/feeling like you can't relate to children, either. I mean hate, hate.

I used to see it all the time on Reddit, when I used that site more often. There was lots of referring to kids as "crotch goblins." And there was a general impression that raising a child was just about the worst fate that anyone could be subject to. It's more important to have every bit of money and time that you have go to your own pleasures and consumption than to use it to support the growth of a brand-new, unique individual.

This slavish support of abortion seems like an extension of that. I don't mean simply being pro-choice (though I disagree with that position); I mean uncritically supporting abortion as the moral equivalent of clipping ones toenails. Whether you support abortion or not, it should be plainly obvious that there is a moral dilemma at hand. No moral dilemma should ever be taken lightly.

Just to be clear, by "manchild" I don't mean just anyone who enjoys video games or children's media. I enjoy both of these things. I mean someone who lives only to consume, without ever assimilating the pervasive messages and advice in children's stories to improve their own lives and grow as a person.

I second the recommendation. Chernobyl was a fantastic miniseries. It played a little loose with some of the historical accuracy, but it was generally a faithful and compelling account of the Chernobyl disaster. Its overarching theme of the cost of lies is very relevant today.

I can't imagine how you would even begin to transplant a uterus from a woman into a man. First of all, what about the fallopian tubes and ovaries? Or will the uterus just be there on its own? Then you have the issue of blood supply. Would you have to make a a network of blood vessels for it from scratch? There's a limit to the number of veins that you can harvest from legs to make new arteries. What about the ligaments and muscles needed to hold it up and prevent if from prolapsing? Biological middle-aged and elderly women sometimes have hysterectomies because their pelvic floors can't support their uteruses. I can't imagine how that would work without even having the right structure for them.

This whole thing is a logistical nightmare.

My grooming leads to functional, stable societies, spiritual fulfillment, and strong family.bonds; your grooming sterilizes children, causes suicide, tears apart families, and destroys truth itself. We are not the same.

Even more importantly, it was Caiaphas, the High Priest of Judea, and the Sanhedrin were the ones who ordered Jesus' arrest in the first place.

Prior to the Great Fire of Rome, in 64 AD, it was exclusively the Jews who were persecuting and murdering Christians, not Romans.

Usually if you open a manga volume the wrong way, (left-to-right), there'll be a page that says "STOP! You're reading this the wrong way!" with a little sample panel showing you how to read it right-to-left. It takes a little getting used to, but it becomes second nature quickly.

Same here. I had what was likely Delta after Thanksgiving 2021. I was sick for about a week with a bad cough, high fever, loss of appetite and fatigue. It was comparable in severity to the flu or a bad case of bronchitis. It was unpleasant, but generic sick.

Fast forward six months later. Both of my parents get Covid, so I stay with them to take care of them, trusting in my natural immunity. With zero distancing, masking, or other precauttions, I finally got a little sick after a week. I had a headache and fatigue that lasted half a day. Meanwhile, I have vaxxed and boosted family members who've had full-blown Covid several times.
