I mean, I expect COVID numbers will be down in May, simply because COVID is largely a seasonal illness.
The question is why then?
What is the reason they have chosen to end the COVID emergency?
Is this to declare victory over COVID to bolster his re-election bid or is this so they can move on to some new emergency?
a) Midterms are over.
b) He’s angry that his son’s alleged business of selling confidential information has been uncovered
He needs unrestricted production for the upcoming wartime economy. Can't let the coof get in the way of building jets and tanks.

It’s about this being seen as “his decision”, rather than anyone else getting there ahead of time…
So does that also mean no more 'emergency powers' or protections for big pharma as that's all I care about
