I think Filoni wants it but I think the higher ups are testing him out with Mando and Boba first. At least that's what I hope.

Though speaking of 'borne out', I'd like to thank the cunt at the bottom there for confirming 4chan's theory of what SIDS might just actually be.

I came here to post that. It leaves out the fear that SIDS instills in caring mothers though. It was such a fear of my wife's that she refused to allow our daughter to have a blanket until she was several months old.

It's Ubisoft so I know they'll push 'the message' hard. I expect they'll hit it with the combo of destroying Sam as a character while elevating some strong woman of color in his place.

So these immigrants come here and decide to stay in one of the most expensive cities in the country?

The situation is difficult for her to talk about. When she moved to San Francisco from China, Lin never imagined living like this. “When I speak to my dad back home, I try not to give him too many details about my life here,” she said. “I don’t want to make him upset.”

I know, it's terrible here. San Francisco is one of the best cities we have I can't imagine how terrible the rest of the country is. She would be smart to just move back home and put this whole mistake behind her.

Until recently Rosa Ramiréz and her two daughters lived in a studio apartment without a working bathroom in San Francisco...The sink spewed yellow colored water, and the toilet wasn’t properly connected to the building’s plumbing system. Ramiréz’s rent was $2,300 a month.

I know, it's terrible here. San Francisco is one of the best cities we have I can't imagine how terrible the rest of the country is. She would be smart to just move back home and put this whole mistake behind her.

Hence the media will never turn on Biden until they're ready to replace him.

He'll be out on his ass at the two year mark. Harris will become Pres and then select Clinton as VP.

This is something conservatives have got to start understanding. The middle won't be won they're spoils of victory. Their opinions are as malleable as clay.

I think that's a common attitude from grown men. I think it completely misses the point though. These stories aren't for men they're for boys. These heroes like Luke Skywalker, He-Man, Spider-Man and others are no different than the heroes from antiquity like Hercules, Achilles and Ulysses.

Their purpose is to set the bar. To give boys something nearly unattainable to strive towards. This keeps them constantly improving and getting better. When our heroes are middling, weak failures then what to boys have to strive for?

Would the Wright brothers have bothered with the airplane if not for Icarus? Would we know Alexander without Achilles?

The men bemoaning the subverting of their heroes aren't upset about it as men, it's the ghost of the boy they once were that mourns the degradation of these heroes. Imagine Alexander's response if Homer did to the heroes of the Iliad the things we see happening to our heroes.

My folks experienced busing in their youth. It shocked me how after experiencing the racial conflicts my father still fell back on the old 'Not all blacks' line. Yet his entire family had to flee their home so their children could be safe at school. The district they fled from is still the worst in the area and it continued to bleed into other areas in the following decades. To the point that by the time I had kids I moved out of town to avoid putting my kids into the school system my parents escaped to.

I don't think a race war would happen on its own.

It would be the result of a complete breakdown of federal control and the inevitable results of that.

What I think is the most likely scenario is a states' rights coalition forming to ignore the federal government. It's already happening on a small scale with things like sanctuary cities, legalized marijuana and 2nd Amendment sanctuaries. Or possibly damning evidence from the election audits. How it sparks is outside the scope of this question though.

Once that happens then you'll see the cities go up in flames first. It'll be the Floyd riots on steroids in any city that has a large black presence. Without the threat of the federal government to keep them in check militias will form and start going to work. I don't think you'll see much wholesale slaughter as most people in the US just don't have the stomach for it. You'll see massive refugee populations fleeing from the central part of the US to the coasts and Canada.

Mexico might move on the SW states in order to 'protect Mexican nationals living in the US' but I doubt it since they can't even keep their own shit together. Canada will send troops South who will try to do anything to assist the feds in restoring peace. Other NATO countries might also.

The biggest wild cards will be China and Russia. I don't think they'll make any major moves on the continental US but China will likely move on Taiwan and Russia might move on Ukraine. They will definitely send SPECOPS troops to train and supply anyone they can in the breakaway states. Russia has already promised that in the past.

I think the end result would be a splitting of the US into at least 3 parts. The East coast states, the West coast states and the central states. There just isn't enough manpower to fight a protracted insurgency in the interior of the US. I see it happening a lot like the breakup of the USSR, maybe a few small scale battles here and there but the end result will be a dissolution of the country.

They're pathological rule followers. They have no real principles other than 'follow the rules'. That's why when things like gay marriage and bump stock bans happen they come out of the woodwork to support it.

"The rules say this is okay now so I'm fine with it and if you're not fine with it then you're not following the rules and you're bad."

but that just doesn't seem wise/likely.

Unless we've misunderstood their motives the entire time.

I feel bad for our parents' generation. They were every bit as propagandized as we are but they didn't have the internet to discuss this bullshit with others and find out it never works.

All of those things your mom told you were what the best doctors, best specialists and every TV personality were telling everyone at the time. Now add another generation's worth of that same propaganda and you can see how we get kids cutting off their genitals because 'You're fine the way you are' turned into 'You can't do anything wrong.'

I fear way too many American students think that the US is the only country in history to conquer people and take their land or have slaves.

That's by design.

I've been keeping an eye on this a little. I thought it was cool that this might end up actually being the Second Amendment to your Constitution and where I live there's a very large foundational Czech population. The place in the link is actually a national historical place.

While I'm not Czech descent I know that your cousins across the ocean are proud of you guys.
