Bunch of whiny teenagers who wouldn't know art if it slapped them in the face cried for "muh 3d". "Muh gritty adult Link." Polygon shit from the ps2-3 era is absolute garbage, even the best story and gameplay can barely compensate (see e.g. FF7). Catering to these consumers is what's made the industry fall apart over the past 15 years.
Money should be whatever the market can bear and its consumers use it for. To be Money, it must first be a means of exchange, this is true, but after that, many other secondary and derivative use cases can be established.
Yep. Moreover, the fact that they were real ballots doesn't mean they weren't used to defraud the count. If I save a legit bunch of ballots with the right proportion (eg 75/25 Biden) and then scan it multiple times I am "following procedures" (with just that one exception) and using "real ballots" and yet I can completely change the outcome. Nothing they ever said or did addressed this, even though the video shows them scanning the batches countless times.
The point, numbnuts, is that even the "6 year old" is not a 6 year old, it's just a drawing. There is no child, no kid, there at all.
You can draw cartoons of hundreds of babies being decapitated, that doesn't make you a baby murderer. Because cartoons are not babies. Cartoons are not children. Cartoons cannot be victims.
You're straight-up psychopathic. And/or deeply retarded.
I'd argue that the context matters a lot here. If this were just a normal conversation between me and an actual redditor, then my remark would have been justifiably seen as over-the-top (though permanent suspension is imo a big overreaction). But in this case it was an obvious, provable shill sea-lioning in the middle of a conversation between others. What I said would have been more or less like telling some random door-to-door salesperson to fuck off and die. Harsh? Maybe, but maybe warranted given their intrusion (especially if you consider what they're shilling for). But that's not acceptable. Today's social media is modled not after a town square or an old-school bulletin board or even just a chat -- no, it's modelled after a Shopping Mall, where the point is to expose everyone inside to as much and as powerful of manipulation as possible by those who pay the owners for access to the sheep. And you are not to resist any kind of approach, provocation, or shilling, but sit back and drink in the ads.
Sorry but I have to disagree... On a second playthrough on PC already and while there have definitely been bugs and crashes it's nothing unexpected with something this big. It's probably better, even, then Bethesda releases, for example.
The idea that glitches means "unfinished" is also nonsense. Unpolished maybe, but "unfinished" implies that the core functions, narrative, or gameplay are incomplete, and that is simply NOT the case.
Everyone freaking out about this doesn't understand SCOTUS at all. Even if every single one of them were desperately hoping for Trump to prevail, should the legal case in front of them have unacceptable weaknesses they would deny the claim (or deny it a hearing). So what do we know so far? That they denied Texas the chance to file this complaint for legal reasons, and went out of their way to make it extremely clear that those technicalities were the only thing they were speaking to with their order.
Could it be that they are "cucking out" as so many say? Yes. Could it be that they are NOT at all "cucking out" and will rule properly when a case with better legal character is put before them? Yes.
We just won't know until we see how they treat the many other VERY different election cases coming out of the contested states and some Federal courts.
So in other words: Stop dooming.
Especially with how easy it is to show the insidiousness of it. All you have to do is reverse the issue and make the sacred races of the progressives the victims:
Once upon a time, there was Wakanda, but a group of refugees fought to relax its immigration laws, flatten its walls, and leave its borders unprotected. Slowly, white people flocked to Wakanda until, today, Wakandans are a vanishing minority and their once great people, culture, and land are preyed upon by hordes of white tyros.
The above story is a dystopian background for a progressive hero narrative in which the hero restores the integrity of Wakanda and secures a future for its aboriginal people.
Their brains will short circuit as soon as you flip the script, however.
