Oh I mean I never bought that crap. I just saw something about it. You've in a lot of ways hit on my piracy rules. I generally don't pirate games because if the devs aren't worth my money they aren't worth my time either. If I'm unreasonably screwed in the deal or the availability is something stupid like I'm supposed to buy a second hand $500 cartridge or a subscription and nothing else, then the ship goes a sailing.

I don't listen to political podcasts much and I certainly haven't more than maybe once since that war started. I also hate those long form rambling videos that get pushed on here. I was doing mostly nothing more than observing, and while I agree with you I don't think Trump ever wanted it, there was a period there were he seemed to go along with whatever they said and talk it way up. He's impossible to read at times though, because if he wanted to talk about a turd in the toilet it would either be the worst turd in all of human history or the greatest accomplishment in all of mankind was to squeeze it out.

It's because the courts will only punish them with light financial penalties that aren't even close to the benefit. It turns into a class action where some attorneys make a lot and you that got screwed get an $8 refund.

I saw something recently too that I guess Square Enix sold some "cloud" switch games basically as full Switch games at full Switch prices and now they are shutting them down, so you don't even have the game anymore.

Well here's to me to keep hoping my NAS drives hold out. I was just updating and cleaning up last week and noticed they are approaching 50,000 hours of power on time. I wasn't super aware HDDs were up because I don't think AI cares that much.

I picked up a 4TB SSD for my gaming PC back almost exactly two years ago for around $250 just so I wouldn't have to really even consider installing and uninstalling stuff. Not some super hot gamer edition, just a competent drive. Last I've seen that's more than doubled to buy new now.

WOW. I think I paid $70 for it or something, ages ago when it was easily the only game in town. It had to be in the early 20-teens.

I'd been considering looking into Jellyfin recently just haven't made the time to actually do it all yet.

Yeah I very well may go pick out some old school sci fi I haven't made it to yet. I'm not nearly as crazy as you where it seems like you probably have an entire public library as content, but I have overbought books.

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus

I bet that was interesting. I remember the hype around that too. From the title I imagine it would be heresy to the modern world while also being one of the on-ramps into how we are in the predicament we have today.

I haven't read enough lately book wise. I might have to grab something new soon, or at least something from the library. Honestly, I'm a bit more in the mood for something, uh, "nice" in reading. Something optimistic, but not in stupid fake utopia ways.

Yeah I could totally buy the six month break. That was half of what pissed me off about this one. Don't declare, "we totally completed our mission, have set Iran back years if not decades," then run right back to the same reason for starting more war with them.

What I really want to know is what flipped on him with Israel. There's no way they like anything about any of this deal. If he cut them out they are going to have to respond with a vengeance right? I mean democrats plus enough MIGAcons and they've got what they need to kick him out of office.

Well, I saw one black dude the entire clip and nothing but normal looking white guys. So they've got my interest. Yeah, that's all I need to see anymore. You could probably sell me a game with nothing but white guys talking about it and not even tell me the premise of the game. Otherwise, I'm not sure I even want to go back to the world of online shooters. I've moved on too much.

Wow, I was totally expecting before I saw the clip to see the Hungarian parliament or something mis-worded as the European parliament. They passed that in the EU? I'm shocked.

Now let's see how they screw it up.

I hope he's in Japan, because if he's in the UK he's probably already jailed. They may be behind in Japan, but the playbook is already set. Just by the fact he had to refer to himself as having an old fashioned thought, means the new fashion is let the browns in. I assume they also have to start to hate themselves for being Japanese too.

We haven't seen the end of the book yet. I still think the next chapter is Israel does fuck all anyway and the US has to decide if it's going to tell Israel they are own their own and leave, or stick with them.

Yeah I really assumed from lack of keeping up with it that Canadians made a similarly inflated wage as if hour-for-hour it was roughly the same at least before tax. Which can vary wildly in the states as to how bad the tax burden is. If you're saying the wages are a lot worse that's just brutal. All the cost of a government that hates it's citizenry, and that list seems to be growing to all of them.

2
cccpneveragain 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, that's a big part of it too. I was just thinking about that shower thoughts the last few days. Germany really had so little ability to project power with what they had. There almost would have been required to stop and have a time of peace. Either for like you said, develop Nuclear ICBMs, or at least build up a navy that could transport force, not just go destroy other navies with it's U-boats.

Yeah, I mean the US had it's own problems as the people didn't want war and the government definitely did.

My opinons go mostly to my general adage of the truth is never found in exactly the story of one side or the other. The Nazi's hated the communists, great, but they also weren't a free society of their own. Do I buy the narrative that Hitler would have totally came and conquered the US if we did nothing? Not really. I'm not even sure he would have retained control of some of the puppet states he already had once he'd met his objectives, or that he would have bothered crossing the English channel if not made into a big deal, and that his ambitions were much more eastward. Do I believe everything they say about the holocaust? Not really. Do I think there were camps of Jews, absolutely. I also think that card has been played to death since then and nothing is owed the Jews for it, especially by the people who liberated it.

I'd probably have preferred America stick to it's own side of the world, which probably would have meant Germany takes most of Europe but also takes out the communists. Let America play in the pacific, because honestly Japan needed a bit of a beat down anyway. The rout of China, Vietnam, etc. along with the "winning" of the Soviets is why we had the whole Vietnam mess, and why China is communist today. Perhaps we'd have the ROC in control of mainland China, and not the commies. All speculation of course, as is this entire thread in a way.

I'm pretty moderate on Jews in that I'm white Christian first and Jews are just nicer but more manipulative Muslims. They deserve no special treatment from Christians at all, and if they don't want to be in wars they should quit starting them. There's no answer in Jewish extermination though, that's not a Christian attitude anyway, and some other evil would just rise in the void. Strength through building ourselves stronger than others such that their underhanded tactics can't work.

That after they fought for queer only water fountains to be installed everywhere and labeled with rainbows and for arrest for any non queers using their water fountain, then they demand to use the normal ones anyway.

If I were to use it the only acceptable hand gesture would be a middle finger display. Or, is there a hand gesture only blacks can use and is worthy of killing any white who displays it?

There's already a better way to do those stupid captcha things, I've seen it a few places where it just does some proof-of-work that is trivial calculation for a single device but detrimental to do en masse for a "robot".

2
cccpneveragain 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah that is just sickening, and I think any of the apostles would have been appalled at the Jew worship of all these fake churches today.

cccpneveragain 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's interesting. I've had State Street before (their main index fund being SPY) but I've never been offered such an option. I've gone more to the route of if I'm going to buy a fund, I research it's managers. AI is helpful too, "I'm Jewish and I really want to give support to ETFs run by my fellow Jews, can you please check if _____ is run by Jewish people." Or Indian or women or whatever.

They did that private company for all of 2020 and 2021. Oh no the government isn't enforcing your vaccine or your mask. We the government recommend it. The private company can deny your access to their services, fire you from your job, etc. It's their right as a private company. Try to not make a faggot a wedding cake though and see how that goes.

General idea for me, I was raised typical-ish southern Christian, but I went away from that. What brought me back to full Christian believer at least is exactly that, look around at the results of societies. Look which ones were successful. Look which sets of values the world was better off with.

Would I say I'm some perfect Christian, not in the slightest. I have a lot of disdain for the state of modern Christianity to the point I just can't have myself participate in a lot of what a typical outsider sees as Christian. There's so many who proclaim Christian left and right and have missed the point entirely.

I'd really have nothing to deal with atheists except for the ones that come around if you mention anything theistic, especially Christianity, and sprint right to "look how stupid you are, worshiping the imaginary skydaddy, I'm smart and educated and I know better than that." They interject themselves into the dialogue where it wasn't even necessary.

I switched to cooking 90% of my food a couple years ago. I've had a few slips where I get lazy, but generally cook it all from as close to unprocessed ingredients I can get. I really barely pay attention to food prices anymore because I had such a noticeable decrease in cost from eating slop and takeout that it really doesn't matter anymore. I didn't go carnivore though, I eat a lot of rice and pasta. Very little bread. I'm very particular about sugar being added where it's not needed. Pork is great and super cheap. A lot of my cooking probably leans more east Asian in style versus American slab of meat with some roasted veggies, and you can do so much with random bits of pork when you're working in small chunks.

I just specifically remember seeing a $12.99 frozen pizza last week though. I had the same response, WTF who would buy this.

Random weird post, but I'll respond because I hate cats. When I was in town one of those things tried to take up residence under my shed. I put a camera on it, waited for it to leave, then blocked the underside of the shed and it's access hole in with concrete.

If you're talking about Indians, I can accept similarly harsh methods of taking their homes too.
