You can't have just the "niceness package" of the bible. You have to take the whole thing. I'm not really that Christian but the bible is a great guide on how to live life.

You want these nice things? Fine. You must accept the parts on sexual morality too. You must work. It's really clear, not willing to work, you can't eat.

Debt is not to be taken lightly. Forgiving debts is one thing, but a Christian would never seek debts and not want to repay them. Even if the debt is unfair, it's not their job to judge the creditor. It is their job to fulfill the commitment they made.

External media player? That’s going to have a hard drive in it too. Perhaps it’s a better grade hard drive for such things, but I doubt it.

There’s nothing special about media playing that is going to do any different to a hard drive. My network storage that I use for my Plex has been up for 3 years now, 24/7. Of course now that I said that a drive will fail, haha.

Hard drives are notoriously reliable. You just had bad luck or did manage to totally wear a drive out. Backblaze, a cloud storage provider, has been posting hard drive stats for years now. Here’s their report from last year. https://www.backblaze.com/blog/backblaze-drive-stats-for-2022/ 200,000 drives up for 78 million days and less than 3,000 of them fail. These are drives that are up and working constantly in a data center environment. They aren’t super special industrial drives, they are generic NAS drives.

So I think he was trying to sell you something, and if you’re happy with how what you had was working get a new external drive and carry on.

If I were to ever support abortion, it would be required to come with a provision for men that they can unilaterally decline all rights and responsibilities to the baby during the same period the woman has a choice to abort it.

I still don't think it's right, but if I were to ever accept a compromise, that provision is non-negotiable. There's also a zero percent chance that would ever be accepted by the other party, they'd go all Impossible1 male genocide before they'd accept that.

I suspect he signed a deal to make the show, get paid for the show once, and ride off into the sunset. Also assume it was probably the best type deal he was going to get at the time. I mean just like he said he had been turned down by HBO and that probably wasn't the only one. He wasn't in a position of strong negotiation.

Back in the early days of TV when reruns weren't seen as much value. Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball basically made their fortunes from having the foresight to own syndication rights for I Love Lucy. It was worth much more than the original show. The thing is, the TV networks know this now, and if your personal brand doesn't command that value, why would they offer perpetual payments in a contract?

I suspect a lot of this is dramatized, because, well it's an entertainment show, and the rest of it is playing the victim. Chappelle should probably realize he may not even be in the position he was without taking that contract even if he doesn't get paid for it later.

If I ran Twitter it wouldn't be a platform for sexual content at all so this is fine with me.

I'm not sure exactly what I see in this screenshot, but if "sexualization of minors" is against the rules then it can't possibly be enforced or all the tranny cordless would be banned.

Tried that game long ago. Sucked at it. Never occurred to me to chop my penis off and try the game again. It seemed a lot easier to just accept that game is shit and do something better with my time.

I don't know when he's elected until, but he better not get too comfortable. Those libs in Dallas are going to go absolutely berserk.

Yeah I would definitely apply the logic to men too.

64
cccpneveragain 64 points ago +65 / -1

Except they do. Men are allowed to have standards. If I'm looking for a good family building woman, opening her legs for every cylinder shaped piece of flesh that comes along is a red flag. I need someone willing to raise a family with good moral character. Why would I test drive a used up old whore? It's a waste of my time

They do, but you’re going to pay that in rent too, along with increased value. Albeit in Texas I’m actually expecting a decrease this year.

There's mental value in downsizing stuff. I do it all the time.

One thing you mention is rent change. That's my favorite part about having a house, it's cost certainty. Taxes and insurance change sure, but when all the houses around me double in value (and they almost have), I still pay what I bought it for. No one is going to come around and say "oh uh yeah this area is more expensive now, you have to pay more"

My 3 bedroom house is about 2000 a month if I were to average in all the costs to live in it. I'll take that over his bed pod any day.

Outside of the surrounding politics I get it to a point. Sometimes people are much too attached to having stuff. The thing is you can still have property without being owned by it.

Radio is radio whether it’s 5G, 4G, 3G, whatever. It’s all a frequency space. Like FM radio is in the 88-107Mhz range, that’s one most people are familiar with. Mobile phone’s traditional are 700-2100 and have been for years. Many of these frequencies date back to analog or PCS days. A phone sold as 5G may speak “5G language” on any or all of these frequencies but it’s still just radio. It would be really illogical and seem uninformed to avoid something called “5G” on these frequencies but be ok with every other previous technology.

The new stuff is the 3.6Ghz C-band and the millimeter wave (mmWave) bands 26Ghz+. I personally wouldn’t bother avoiding C-band either. If you’re using Wi-Fi at home, you’re already exposing yourself to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. C-band sits right in the middle. If you’re going to make a point to avoid it, start thinking about Wi-Fi too.

So, you’re left with mmWave and I think that’s the one usually being discussed regarding “Dangerous 5G” whether they are clear or not. Well good news, it barely travels any distance at all and he phone companies don’t deploy it that much right now. If you’re inside your house, the chance of getting mmWave signals is near zero. It’s often killed by glass on the front of a building. To avoid mmWave, avoid places where there are often large crowds of people in open space. That’s it. I’d not really trust a 4G phone to protect me there anyway. If you’re in a crowd and the person next to you is using mmWave you’re exposed to it too. Maybe even if they aren’t using it.

Also, a lot of those things you see presented as scary 5G towers (like the cylindrical things) are just more “decorative” standard cell towers. There’s little difference to them and in most cases aren’t going to be on mmWave, but just a standard mobile band. You’re more likely to see mmWave stuff on top of a streetlight in a city than a special purpose built tower unless you’re in a really open area.

I used to build in Minecraft while listening to baseball games, but that's been a while. Best I can come up with unless you count listening to music while driving

So these cretin got a guy fired because he doesn't smile enough and expects them to do good work? Typical.

I believe it too, because I've dealt with enough women in my life that want to "fix" you. "You only need to come out of your shell", "I'm going to get you to be less quiet" and bullshit like that. See the thing is, leave me the hell alone. I'll talk if I have something to say People (women included) that have earned my respect like me. Random bozos wanting to fix me can go away.

I grew up as a tech nerd kid surrounded by computer stuff and parts and all the stupid pain in the ass to connect peripherals that were all the thing in the 90s. So it's safe to say I was in to that stuff. Today I often feel like a luddite. I'm sitting here with my watch that runs on springs and gears messaging on a low end smart phone about to get into a car that barely has a clock much less a touchscreen and you have to shift manually.

The thing is I have tech stuff, I've got Raspberry pis and a NAS and some cloud VMs. I'm still that tech kid. I just hate all this modern trendy tech. Never talked to AI either. I have tested it for some artwork but not extensively. That would be to replace skills I don't have.

The strike that no one even notices if not for media. I remember back in the late 90s there was a UPS strike. At least they had some leverage because it was a disaster trying to ship anything by any shipping company. Writers and actors strike? Who cares. Especially in today's world where a ton of content isn't even from Hollywoke

They write all the articles like that, I think it’s supposed to get the sheep crying in their programmed fake empathy center and never pay attention to anything else.

There’s enough red flags on this woman to decorate a Soviet government office. It’s so obvious from the story she purposefully intended to indoctrinate her students.

Oh, and who the hell carries around extra socks, “just in case?” Does this woman have a foot fetish fling with another teacher or something? Needing extra socks all the time is not normal.

That makes a lot of sense

The biggest stretch of all of them.

I swear though women always think about men's situation like this. I had a pretty rough mental time in late 2020-early 2021 and learned really quick don't bother even mentioning to women. No matter what, they always have it worse.

It's a shit opinion but not a racist one. John Lennon maybe at a certain point. Bono, blah. I've always thought the Rolling Stones were overrated, but I don't necessarily hate them. I'd take Chuck Berry and Jimi Hendrix over Bono and Jagger easy.

Blacks shot their own selves in the foot with their insistence on nothing but nigger degeneracy music anyway. Their talent in the 40s-70s will live on a long time, but no one is going to care about whatever modern garbage that is some clown droning about his hos.

It never makes sense to me as it takes away the whole reason to have a corporate job. I've been with a big company for a long time now. Why? It's a easy consistent paycheck I don't hate doing what I have to do to get it. I don't have to invest myself into it, I just have to show up and do a good job, then go home and sleep at night. If I wanted to make something a part of myself, I'd rather make my own business or be in some small business where there is an upside.

I guess it works for someone though. I work from home most of the time, but when I go in to the office, there's people playing on pool tables and such. Doesn't make sense to me, I'd rather finish my work so I can leave and have time for something else.

I'd even say the rise of single white females is directly correlated to women being allowed to vote. They vote for all these social programs in droves so they can replace men with daddy government.

That just shows how incredibly stupid the rainbow cult is. Support a religious group that openly opposes faggotry, then be surprised then members of such group do not support rainbow cult.

Gone with their witch-hunt. I mean most of their evidence presented if taken at face value is just friends with businesses trading favors to the extreme. I mean one of them was as stupid as an Uber account. It’s not illegal to buy or receive Uber services paid by someone else. This garbage is the best they can come up with and there were no allegations of embezzling taxpayer funds or anything. More like “oh he and his friend were moving money around, let’s make some assumptions “
