It's not just code for F Joe Biden. I think a big part of why it's become so popular is it just illustrates everything wrong with the modern-day left.

  1. Yes, part of it is insulting Biden.

  2. Illustrating how the most popular president EVAR! is not actually that popular

  3. Highlighting the incredible dishonesty in the media for even suggesting the crowd was "Lets Go Brandon!". No, it was not hard to understand what they were saying, the reporter was lying through her teeth.

  4. Highlighting more incredible dishonesty in the media because they're perfectly fine with celebrities insulting Trump 24/7 and holding up a fake severed head of Trump on magazine covers but freaking out and clutching their pearls as soon as anyone dares insult the preferred team.

so, LETS GO BRANDON!

Wtf even is the Lincoln Project?

Honestly, it's the closest thing to Neocon Central at the moment. A bunch of NeverTrumpers and establishment republicans formed it a couple years back with their stated purpose was to help Biden win in 2020 and "ensure Trumpism is defeated"

not least in the fact that the United States will attend the COP as a renewed signatory to the Paris Agreement.

Fact check: False. Entering into an international agreement requires congressional approval, not just the president saying "this sounds cool." The fact that the agreement had Obama and Biden saying "we want in" is just bullshit to start with.

Behind all presidents stands another man.

Big Mike has entered the chat?

I find it hard to believe anyone is taking the dog thing seriously. Sure, it sounds horrific and if real it just demonstrates (yet again, it's not like we needed more proof) how depraved these people really are.

But the whole thing is clearly just a distraction at this point. "Oh, look at this nasty thing! Clearly it is bad! Pay no attention to the fact that we lied before congress repeatedly, funded research which caused this whole virus thing and then used the whole virus thing to clamp down on your civil rights. Worry about the puppies instead!"

This. The only mistake going on is people choosing to listen to the media these days.

But when they asked what the AI thought about “a black man walking towards you at night” its answer was clearly racist.

No, it's answer was clearly statistical.

Nope. Sure, it probably didn't help. But the problem was letting a dumbass who has repeatedly shown he has anger issues and thinks he is above the rules have a live weapon (even if it was only loaded with blanks). $100 says that ultimately this was Baldwin pointing it at people and pulling the trigger to feel all powerful only to have it actually do what a gun is supposed to do when you pull the trigger.

You should know better, you have all the training, and context, to know.

Yes. You should know better, David. Anyone who spends even a few minutes studying history clearly sees any time you start imposing censorship and speech codes it ends in despair and misery for everyone.

You would also clearly see that Socialism is never Utopian, and even if your revolution succeeds academics are either turned into propogandists if they're good little boys or put up against the wall and shot (or, often, both). But clearly you're too dense for that.

Were there ravens or horses (ideally with extra legs) around? If so, you're good

No, no, you see, social distancing, masks, etc. were effective at stopping the regular flu virus but we didn't do them hard enough to stop the kung flu virus! We totally didn't just classify virtually every respiratory illness as covid for the last year and a half to artificially inflate the numbers and drive people into a panic in order to seize more governmental control.

The doublespeak just makes my head hurt, but too many people are sadly dumb enough to buy it.

Sadly, this. They already murdered a bunch of shelter dogs so that volunteers wouldn't have a reason to travel to the shelters and risk violating quarantine, so this would be nothing new.

ailurus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nah, that argument is out the window now. After all, in the US last year there were only 1,675 flu cases recorded in the 2020-2021 flu season. So, the flu is demonstrably not a threat anymore.

Disagree on the last one. It's not a banana, it's a small off-duty Czechoslovakian traffic warden.

Oh, I'm not expecting them to change anything. But, even though it's not needed, it's yet more evidence of the blatant hypocrisy of them, and from the NIH this time.

I don’t think that stories are told a lot about black people owning slaves.

Oh, plenty of people talk about it. Of course, you just immediately reject everything they say and classify them as bigots the minute they open their mouths about it.

It's almost like trying to normalize a mental health issue rather than treat it does little good? I'm shocked, shocked I say.

And, yes, it is a mental health issue, despite the recent DSM changes - gaps in what your body is and what your mind feels your body should be is pretty much the definition of a mental health issue. And maybe transitioning is the treatment for it in some cases, I'm no expert. But at a minimum we should start calling it what it is.

At least in this case, since it's digital, there are (potentially kind of buggy) ways of preserving the old version. Of course, utilizing servers which are privately controlled instead of Blizzard controlled would be very naughty, so you wouldn't want to do that. Especially now that it would have forbidden emotes, NPCs named after problematic people and inappropriate paintings in dungeons.

"Forced birthing" is politically correct speak for "can't do abortions up to the day before birth"

Alive, yes. Kicking? For a 91 year old he's doing great, but even he is starting to get slowed down by the age

Probably because Blizzard = bad now, so wearing anything Blizzard related = supporting bad.

All livestock and manure constitute 5.8% of greenhouse gasses. So even if cow farts are actually a danger to the world, getting aliens to abduct every single cow would have virtually no impact on greenhouse gasses overall.
