Here's an idea: drag your fat lazy ass to the store and do your own shopping. We have become the laziest, most entitled culture in history.
That's the core of the issue. They don't want "rights"; they already enjoy all the same rights as any other person. They want the one thing that they can't have, which is for everyone to agree with them that they're really the opposite sex when they are not and never will be. They want to drive everyone that doesn't agree with this to the cultural fringes and make us outcasts.
US sanctions on Iraq following the first Gulf War.
Countries are never very good at analyzing the second and third order effects of their actions, and when confronted with them it's easy to handwave them away because there isn't an indisputable direct correlation to that effect and what they did.
I have the original XBox, and I have never heard that creepy voice thing before.
Do you remember the batarang controller? That thing was ridiculously large. I guess Microsoft was catering to the "gamer with bear paws" market. It's funny how their replacement design for that controller has survived two more generations almost unchanged and has basically been copied by Nintendo; I would say is pretty much the industry standard. The PlayStation controller just feels too small.
That's a rather snide reply from the official XBox account. If you're going to post things for comment on social media, you can't expect to only receive feedback that you want to hear. Unprofessional.
I'll add that building a collection of things that are worth collecting takes time and money as well. Unless you're someone like Bill gates, you're not going to get a collection of historic firearms overnight, for example.
Let's not forget plastic is made of petroleum. How much of that went into making this junk?
The left started pushing the narrative of an epidemic of anti-asian hate hard the last few years. My guess is they're looking to bolster their anti-white numbers. Hispanics tend to vote Republican once they get some money, and blacks are locked up already, so they need more minorities on their side.
Funny thing is, Asians tend to do well here, and the left excludes them form the gibs. I guess this polling shows that their propaganda is working on the young.
In order to legally be considered a threat there has to be a specificity that is lacking here- time/place/method, something. Burning a cross is known as an anti-black statement, and contains an implicit threat of violence, but if it wasn't for "mUh hATe cRiMe" he probably wouldn't have been charged with anything.
Yeah, if true they killed a living creature, and he hurt some feelings. What kind of fucking clown world do they get no punishment and he goes to jail for 42 years.
They look a little meth-heady.
Remember, the same decision-makers that refused this sergeant authority to fire on a target with a precision rifle when he was reasonbly certain that the target was a suicide bomber turned around and dropped a bomb on an aid worker, killing 10, including 7 children, in retaliation for the bombing they failed to prevent.
These people are criminally negligent. And they're fucking liars; they swore there were secondary explosions when they killed the aid worker and his family, and only reversed themselves when video proved they were lying.
Regarding Star Wars, here's what he has to say:
"Do you think anybody but us, like the people who grew up with it, would care? That's what I figured out: that the younger people have a whole different perception of what Star Wars is, you know? Each generation... for the millennials it's the prequels, for younger people... sometimes it's The Clone Wars."
Us, as in the group that kept Star Wars in pop culture for the 20 years between Return of the Jedi and the prequels? People that bought 20 years worth of books, video games, and toys for what would otherwise be a dead franchise?
Yes, there's certainly no money to be had in giving that group what they've been clamoring for since the DVD was invented. You'll never make back the money you spend on cleaning up archival films and releasing a 4K Blu-ray box set.
Maybe, just maybe, blowing off this group of fans and producing the trash that you have been for the past few years is why the popularity of Star Wars is at an all time low.
That's what's so insidious about the left. They can justify anything they do because in their minds it's for the greater good and they're supporting the march of progress to a better world.
So, when they break the law, or apply double standards between themselves and their opponents, it's all OK and morally correct in their minds.
Happens in soccer too:
Equity is communist bullshit. The entire concept hinges on identifying who "needs" something more and taking away from others to give it to them.
Once people realize that they're going to get the same outcome without having to put in the same amount of effort, they just turn into grifters working the system.
The fucking apps for everything and the push for "paperless billing" make me want to punch the people that invented computers and cell phones in the throat.
No, I don't want to download your bloatware on my phone that will steal a bunch of my personal data and send it to you simply to get in the gym. And, no thank you, I don't want you to be able to reach into my bank account directly without my express written consent and take money out.
These things aren't a "convenience" to me, and they always get way more out of the deal than you do even if you did find them convenient.
“I was actually walking over to deck him because if no one will protect us then I’ll do it myself,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “But I needed to catch a vote more than a case today.”
Sure you were sweetheart, sure you were.
And "catch a case"? Sounds like something some thug in an episode of Law and Order would say. I guess that's what you get when you elect street trash to office.
Honestly, the bottom option sounds more appealing. We're long past the point where Democrats/the left can be worked with. Their goals for this country are pretty much diametrically opposed to the Republican platform or the group of people we call the right.
When you're in a situation like that, it's a tug of war, and every bit you yield to the other side just further weakens you. What I'm seeing from the Democrats is a mad rush to remake this country in their image is fast as possible combined with ensuring the disenfranchisement of the right. Tearing that system apart is the only way to fix things.
So, how does this sort of thing work in the publishing world?
I would have assumed that when an author makes a book deal with a publisher did it gives them the right to print the author's work with limits potentially on the number of copies or how long they had the printing rights- sort of like licensing agreements work.
If that was the case, they wouldn't be able to change anything without the author's consent, but it sounds like they can. What are his rights in this case? It's his name that they slap on the cover as the author can he demand that they remove it if the work has been edited without his consent?
Yep, and it's as stupid now as it was before.
Jesus, look at the shit eating grin on her face.
Yes, have you noticed that every place on the planet that Spain colonized is a third world shithole today? I'm pretty familiar with the Philippines, and I'm firmly convinced everything wrong with their culture was planted by the Spanish colonists. The history of South America speaks for itself.
This is what I tell people all the time. You think every civilization in history just stumbled into a patriarchal structure, like that's just some random coincidence?
Women have been rigidly controlled and kept in their place throughout the history of mankind to prevent exactly what we're seeing today. It wasn't random or happenstance that this custom was adopted across the entire planet, but necessary for the survival of each culture.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
