Honestly, the bottom option sounds more appealing. We're long past the point where Democrats/the left can be worked with. Their goals for this country are pretty much diametrically opposed to the Republican platform or the group of people we call the right.
When you're in a situation like that, it's a tug of war, and every bit you yield to the other side just further weakens you. What I'm seeing from the Democrats is a mad rush to remake this country in their image is fast as possible combined with ensuring the disenfranchisement of the right. Tearing that system apart is the only way to fix things.
They are snap implementing anti-white communism via executive order and plain lawlessness. The left have discovered that they can do whatever they want and no one will use force to stop them.
The cuckservatives deserve alot of blame for this as well. Instead of copying blm methods, the cuckservatives do nothing and cry "but just vote harder, trust the plan, yay desantis!"

Movements like Q-anon have siphoned off and neutralized dissent before and will do so again.
