Rumble will tell them to get lost. The Government will have the next move. Do they dare command every ISP and VPN operating in the UK to ban access to Rumble as they threatened with Russell Brand?

And Michael Gove, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities also happened to conveniently be walking through the pro-Palestinian march to the train station.

And now we have politicians in the media talking about how to deal legally with "disrespect", "offence" and "rudeness" under the guise of preventing both "tension", "whipping up division" and protecting "British values, morals and traditions".

This whiffs of set-up to justify new laws to enforce virtue, ban vices (which they were planning to do regardless) and legislate against "hate" from "extremists" to protect the feelings of the "silent majority". Bear in mind, that the same majority favoured lockdowns, mandated vaccinations and war in Ukraine.

If the response from the usually silent majority is anything to go by, this is the consequence of the failure of the police to do anything peacefully so now in hushed tones in private beside a few very highly upvoted comments on the Daily Mail website, the overton window on punishment for crimes appears to have shifted to an extreme position.

In a related manner, I do wonder what's coming at the weekend in the UK. Only yesterday Just Stop Oil protesters in the UK blocked an ambulance from attending an emergency and they're getting more extreme in their vandalism. We also have opposing protests coming up for Remembrance weekend.

I think eventually YouTube will adopt a model where content creators will have to pay for both storage and bandwidth while individuals who want to share videos via YouTube will have to use their Google One storage.

Patreon can financially benefit from the hosting of content on Google's servers and serving it to paid subscribers while contributing zero to Google. Eventually that will be stopped by Google either by buying Patreon or restrictions on hosting content privately until Patreon or the content creator coughs up.

Over half of misogynistic replies to women on social media were sent by other women. Intrasexual competition is alive and kicking.

A lot of it is based on circumstances that occurred prior to your conception, in-vitro or what you were born into. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos did not go from homelessness and destitution to multi billionaires. Over half of CEO's are six foot or over despite only making up fourteen percent of the population. The candidate who is tallest statistically wins the presidential election. That's just height. And you can't gymmaxx your way to six feet. We haven't covered looks, personality - half of which is inherited and in particular, the dark triad traits, IQ, background born into and growing up and social networking (the concept of who you know, not what you know).

There are exceptions because life is nuanced but in general, most of your life course is determined before you opened your eyes and saw the world for the first time.

Work and effort isn't fruitless and I am not advocating against it. However, it would be wise to acknowledge that it only accounts for a minority of success and that different people have different limits, preferences and abilities.

The women who are truly good are usually the ones who formed relationships with a childhood sweetheart in high school or if they do break up, are back in a relationship quickly before they get anywhere near a dating site. The women I know anecdotally who are single either have mental health issues that they will openly admit or are proactively never going to date again, usually because they are fixated on the positive aspects of an ex who no other man could ever best, never mind emulate or are too old and can't be bothered with it.

The current state of the dating market is grim for the average man and if you're below average and have any single deficiency such as being unattractive, out of shape, poor, lack of relationship experience (pre-selection) when you are older, speech impediment, neuroatypical condition, are not independent, unstable career prospects and so forth, all it takes is one single characteristic to be rejected and you may as well not bother. The hit on self-esteem and your mental being is not worth it. A lot of these things are genetic - within your DNA - and can't be improved by "just lift bro", "just touch grass bro" and "just shoot your shot bro" as coaches, gurus and evolutionary psychologists like to spout ad nauseam.

I posted in the MGTOW community that Labour is proposing common law marriage should they get power next year. Which means you don't have to get married anymore to face going through divorce court in the UK.

TheOpiner 22 points ago +23 / -1

A MGTOW content creator worked out the percentage of men who meets all three of those criteria. It's less than one percent. It's 0.041%.

Worse still, there seems to be a push for women to earn more than men but still expect men to work long hours and do all the household chores and jobs.

And in terms of marriage, the Lotus Eaters released a compilation of the Labour conference. One of the current MPs, Emily Thornberry, spoke of their proposal to bring in common law marriage. Labour is expected to form the next Government as soon as next year. If that comes to pass, unmarried and cohabiting men are on the hook if she gets bored, doesn't find you attractive anymore or wishes to switch to a new partner and takes you to divorce court.

Having watched the whole thing, one theme in particular, aside from the usual "comrade" greeting, is a desire for a war on men - through a proposal to introduce common law marriage and deal with "misogyny".

And in less than one years time, if things go as predictions expect, this political party and the delegates at conference will have political power. Keep that in mind as you watch.

Who's betting that a certain man from Telford who goes by the name of Tommy, should he mention the word "jihad" to his supporters, would be surrounded by Police and arrested for hate speech?

TheOpiner 10 points ago +10 / -0

Do we have to remind ourselves of the excellent job Mombot did to expose all the male feminists who, while accusing you of the worst examples of misogyny possible, were hiding their own misogynistic skeletons in the closet? It's projection.

Those childless women in their thirties are now out-earning their male peers and going it alone when it comes to having children and they're being raised by family and her community. The days of "beta bux" are starting to come to an end. Which is why sperm donation from higher value men compared to what's on the dating market is becoming more popular.

TheOpiner 5 points ago +5 / -0

She also livestreamed the date for everyone to see and judge him. Which is now becoming a new trend to dissuade men from dating.

It's that or get fined and blocked in all EU member countries. The purpose of this directive was not to merely deal with "misinformation" but to ensure everyone falls in line. The consequence is that user generated content online is going to be impossible to police to ensure compliance with the new directive so it's either leave that market or shut down said content - Meta chose the latter and it will soon find out that the EU is still dissatisfied with their efforts.

The vast majority of people have an account to keep track of people they want to watch videos from, comment or even join their membership programme. Unlike text and images or even short form videos on TikTok, video content is a time and money expense and most people don't do it. It doesn't mean anyone without videos to their account is a bot, NPC or troll. If anything, YouTube might be thankful for those accounts who don't upload videos because storage and bandwidth costs money that has to be paid for and video uses a lot of it.

It's the same on Rumble, Odysee, Bitchute and any other video platform.

Easily done by only allowing DRM to be unlocked by Premium/ads for a specified period of time. Even Premium will have ads eventually because that's where the other streaming firms are going.

You are right with DRM, it's coming whether we want it or not.

Invidious to the rescue. https://inv.tux.pizza/watch?v=S0t78fBVF4c

I use the Farside URL redirector on mobile and a redirect extension on desktop (can't recall it's name at the moment) that allows me to redirect to privacy respecting front ends and add custom ones so I avoid giving them clicks.

I can't wait for the Guardian columnist to maintain balance and do a follow up article on shaming male virginity and long term bachelorhood.

I'll wait.

Banning all porn? Good.

There was a veiled threat from a Tory MP in the UK recently to follow the South Korean example of banning all distribution and possession. They've also announced the banning of smoking and are now looking likely to go down a road of banning all vices and adopt an obesity strategy which could potentially compel people to go to the gym and eat healthily to keep their job and/or welfare.

Enforcement of public decency laws, shutting down most "adult oriented" businesses? Women not go out in public dressed like strippers? Good.

That would require us to adopt Saudi Arabian/Iranian style morality laws. Not as far as Afghanistan where music is now banned but it would be a massive culture shock for western countries to shift toward puritanism and the implementation of morality police.
